Went to have a nice night out with friends.. we are African American.. as soon as the owner saw us waiting at the door (which we waited for a ridiculous amount of time to get in) he yelled “vote republican”. Very unprofessional for an OWNER to be yelling & mind you, this was our first time there. Any business establishment should not be talking about politics. Waste of time & money. Very cool place, but so unorganized. Bartenders couldn’t keep up & it wasn’t even busy. Water was limited & when I asked a bartender for some water she said she was too busy. So I got my own water. Just bad experience & we do not plan on going back.

We went there and it was very busy. We were very understanding and patient, but I couldn't help but notice we were the only people of color there. Didn't think much if it. Eventually our waitress comes by and informs us she would be coming back with our drink orders. I thought it was strange but whatever it was really busy. We had been sitting there for a good 15 minutes and the waitress took everyone else's order in the section and completely ignored us. We were sitting there long enough for the other people in the section (who showed up much later than us mind you) to get their food. Keep in mind we still didn't get our drink orders and it was 85 degrees outside, not even offered WATER. We left after noticing all of the other people in the section got their drinks and food. Absolutely foul behavior we will NEVER be coming back. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

This bar is the pride and joy of downtown East Dundee. In the day time it is a cool and fun place to grab a meal. In the night time it is an interesting, lively, and great place to grab a drink. What stands out is the environment, which I would say is one of the best settings I’ve seen in a bar (pictures attached). Everything is well maintained and clean. The food quality and taste is why I give the place a four star. The crowd is very diverse and one can find a place with anyone there. Drinks are average priced too. The staff is very friendly and add to the rating. I will be back again!

Came tonight. Was told I needed a mask. No problem. However, both employees ( two girls ) did not have a mask on. I would definitely get my mask from my car and come in but I completely did not respect the fact that these employees want to tell me to put on one if they don’t have one on themselves. In addition, nasty attitude. 23 years old and not recommending this place. Extremely unhappy. Never been inside. Never coming in again and will not recommend.

This is a moderately nice bar that prices its moderate selection of alcohol as though it believes it's a more reputable establishment that has an actually impressive staff and selection of alcohol. This is the bar equivalent of the girl in your high school who was a 5/10 but acted like she thought she was a 9/10. Y'all know you're in East Dundee, right?

Owner only cares about politics and they don't care about the health of their patrons. I strongly recommend you go elsewhere l.

Drinks were great. I am very surprised there weren't more people here, as the weather was wonderful. There is plenty of room outside and inside for sitting, drinking, and eating. I will have to come back soon to try out the food. Bummer there were so many dogs outside with owners that can't control their animals as they were barking the entire time. Overall great experience - should kick out dog owners that can't keep their animals under control and stop them from being a nuisance.

Gave this place two chances while I was in town but the service is consistently terrible.

Great burger and burnt ends bbq,would be 5 stars but there are no servers so your kind of on your own when ordering drinks and food from the bartender that was fantastic btw...

Waitress never brought us our drinks. Brought the next table theirs. And then ignored us the rest of the time there

Unsanitary and Rude Establishment

This is a very nice place. We had drinks, but the food they were serving looked really good.

Located in East Dundee this bar is super fun. I especially enjoy it during the summer months when the outside bar and patio area are open. There are a total of four bars in this establishment so even when it gets crowded you can still get a drink quickly. They have slot machines and the food is also pretty good. The crowd at this bar varies but leans toward a younger crowd. Bartenders are always friendly. I would recommend this bar to anyone.

Not a place to Watch Monday night football. TV, but no sound because they refuse to turn off music even though there are only a couple of guys trying to enjoy the game. Explains why there’s only 4 people here. Sad. All that money on so many televisions but for what??

LOVE this place 👍 great mai tais and atmosphere. I love the outdoor bar and area, LOTS of character & things to look at. We always have great service too. We usually have the chicken fingers, tried the Monte Cristo which could have had a little bit more meat but was overall, pretty good. A lot of people were ordering them and one couple asked us what we were having. We usually go on the weekends and it's a lively and fun atmosphere, especially when SODA is playing 😁👌

Cool looking spot, but we had to leave due to lack of service. It was a Saturday but it wasn't really busy at all, this was around 2pm also, so after the lunch rush. When we got there, it wasn't clear if we were supposed to seat ourselves or be seated. Found a spot, and after 5-10 minutes we got our menus. Asked for a round of waters. 15minutes later still no water and other people were looking for their wait staff also. We were pretty hungry and very thirsty so we decided to leave. Highly recommend the Tavern next door though, food was excellent and they actually brought us drinks and even food lol. Can't possibly recommend this place other than the layout was cool.

Finally went here after a long time wanting to go to their live band karaoke and I was so surprised to see how big and beautiful it is inside! the food was fine, there's a great beer selection and the live band karaoke was so much fun! the players were great, the other patrons were all having a good time...i can't wait to go back! and, after getting to actually see the inside of their outdoor space, I would definitely consider this venue for hosting an event in the future!

Was one of the few places that was holding the Logan Paul/Nate Diaz fight on Saturday, August 5th. Took a few friends with me to watch it. Server, Fernanda, gave attitude when seeing us sit down, missed half the food that was supposed to come out, then rushed for us to pay the bill when her shift ended. On top of that, the whole staff is shady, take pictures of your receipts! We paid for our bills, added tips & the the place added extra money to my bill & my boyfriends after we had already signed & paid. No consent to this amount! I had to reach out to the manager, & let me tell you, one of the most ignorant & laziest managers in my experience. Had to fight with the manager, Johnette, about looking at the receipts for over a week, just for her to defend her shady staff & to tell me to dispute it with my bank. Good thing I have proof. Talk about an inside scam. Good thing there's other places that show fights that have honest management & a great team. Sebastians Ale & Whiskey House in Brookfield is the place to go!

I had my son’s 21st birthday there everything was great, the food was great, the service was awesome, thanks to Allison and Gillian!

Still has potential to be a good time. Just depends on the day. They downsized there food menu drastically. They have a pretty good size beer selection, great atmosphere. Service is hit or miss.

First time there! My buddy was performing on stage. Ordered the chicken tenders and tater tots from appetizer menu. Absolutely awesome!! Highly recommend!! Can't wait to go back!! 👍😁😎

I have never really liked this restaurant, not because I've ever had bad food or a bad drink, I personally am just not a fan of outdoor seating while eating, and that's where we had a table to sit, their mixed drinks were good, I just had a tequila/pineapple, and I had their Italian beef to eat, it wasn't bad, but it seemed like when they went to dunk it in the juice, they left it in for just a little too long and it came out a bit soggier than I like, but they did load up the cheese on it, which is never a bad thing, so I'd go back and try eating indoors and change my views, but as of right now, they are just okay to me.

This place has gone downhill. I used to go to Banditos when it was THE a place to be. Now it’s awful to step foot in the door. We have gone there several times and have had to either wait a long time for a server, had a server who didn’t seem to be thrilled to be working, or have been ignored by multiple servers who chose to go to tables who sat after us. Today we walked in and sat ourselves. We sat and sat and sat. The server walked past us 6 times and never made any kind of contact with us as she took new tables around us. We should’ve at least been approached by a server or manager or any worker to say we will be helped soon, but nothing. After 10 minutes of being ignored, we walked out. This is totally not acceptable practice for a bar who wants to stay in business. We love the bar and want to spend money there but apparently no one actually wants to take our money. We would go there weekly if we got the proper service or any service whatsoever. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

The meatball sub is incredible! Perfectly toasted bread and amazing flavor. The people are SO nice here too. Had a beautiful afternoon in the courtyard.

If i could give this a 0 stars I would. The atmosphere is awesome, that's it. Drink, watered down for $10. I had to ask for a waitress after an hour wait. Food came with a LONG wait and missing items. When I pointed it out, she disputed it with me until I showed her the menu. The service was deplorable and they didn't even care. Said they were super busy. The owners knew they would have a band on Father's Day, so hire more people. The food was even worse. Food been sitting out, so it was luke warm at best. Salad was warm. Just terrible. Oh did I mention no signs on the building so you don't even know where it is (first time there). Parking? Another story.

Middle of eating and needing another drink... Had to get up in the middle of eating after watching her wipe down other tables and waiting 20 min for the waitress to come back, told her we needed drinks. After waiting another 10 min went to the bar to get my own drink. Drank 1/2 of my beer before she came back with new drink order.

Had the fish fry and chicken tenders. No flavor, especially since it was supposed to be beer battered. Will not eat there again. I will say, the drinks are usually good. Servers really need to work on personality. It was like they were not happy to be there at all. Polite but not at all enthusiastic. That has always been an issue there.

I used to really like your food. Please bring back a black bean burger. Enjoy the people who work here. Great atmosphere. Just need to update your menu.

The food here is just awesome. Simple as that, everything I've ever has was completely legit. Love the back bar, even in winter it feels like you're outdoors.
