Yet another bad review. Literally, save yourself the frustration and headache of coming here. The doctors are amazing; knowledgeable and really do care. But the girls at the front desks… Extremely unprofessional. Very rude while speaking to me although I was friendly right off the bat. They sit there chatting and laughing amongst themselves, and see that there are patients waiting to check in. Made eye contact with two girls while waiting in line to check in, and they continued to laugh and talk amongst themselves. I arrived 20 minutes early to the appointment for my SON, just to get called up by a girl at the desk. she set me back to 10:45 when his appointment was at 10:30. While speaking to me, she was very rude and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. You arrive early, just to be waiting longer than your appointment time. But you dare show up less than 15 minutes before your appointment, and they cancel it… Need to get rid of all the young girls working at the desks, they do not take their job seriously and DO NOT even know how to provide the most basic patient assistance. Rude, unprofessional, and terribly immature. Such a shame.

Terrible facility. My wife has been waiting two weeks to have a biopsy on potential cancerous cysts. They called her and told her the could not do the procedure because THEY scheduled it during lunch hour. They now moved her appointment to two weeks later. And scheduled it for 12:30 instead of 11:30. Thanks for leaving my wife scared for another few weeks. Enjoy your lunch

Terrible Office for OB and pediatrician . The staff in office or call center are VERY rude and inconsiderate . OB clinic almost turned me down 3 days postpartum after having a C-section I basically argued to been seen for my appointment which they tried rescheduling me . They canceled my son appointment like 3 times the day of the appointments and my sons only 6 months so which means he’s only been seen at the clinic about 4 times . I constantly told them I only wanted to see one doctor which was Dr Davis they constantly gave me a different doctor every single time . I do not recommend this Clinic to anyone. Please do not waste your time . Oh let’s not forget the time you have to wait to be seen . But they want you to be in the office 15 minutes prior. Then you’ll be seen within 30 minutes or close to an hour later this office is a joke . My son new doctors office tried calling them today to verify which vaccine they gave my son because it wasn’t clear on which one he received on his vaccine records and they gave this new office a hard time and still left without an answer.

Care here is very hit or miss. If you don’t suffer from any chronic illness and don’t need any specialized care, you’ll be okay. Otherwise it’s tough getting an appointment quickly, providers are limited. One provider withdrew me from medication abruptly without considering any weaning off or potential withdrawal symptoms. I was ill for over a week and had to miss work. This could’ve been very easily avoided. Another provider I recall was very kind and helpful to me when I had a procedure done, but I believe that provider is no longer around. They seem to be improving, recently got a letter in the mail about labs pending, which is a great sign for follow up and thorough care. They also have a survey at checkout that I’d never seen before. There’s room for improvement. I hope GEFCC can improve and care for the community the way it deserves.

Their policy is very strict!! I arrived exactly at my appointment time. When I checked in with the receptionist; she told me to seat and wait. After 5 minutes another receptionist call my name to let me know that they couldn't see me because I arrived 1 minute late to the my appointment. I explained that I was late because I have an incident on my way. I Also, explain that I was late because I needed to check in with the receptionist and the line was busy. She said that that is why they ask their patients to come 15 minutes earlier. Even though, I explained that I was on time because my appointment was at 8:30am and I was there at 8:30. She didn't let me stay. I wish they could be more considerate.

Excellent service, the 2 years that I have lived in the United States, I am registered with my insurance in this place Grater Family Health... and it is an excellent place, it has excellent staff, they are very friendly, attentive and willing to help if there is any doubt or question about dating... 🙏

I've had my appt canceled/rescheduled multiple times now on the day of. Today I had a 6:45 appt to which I checked in at 6:10 only to be told at 6:50 I would not be seen ! I was told I was only scheduled for a 15 minute time slot and my nexplannon removal needed to be scheduled for 30 minutes minimal but because the next 2 patients were already checked in, IT WOULD INCONVENIENCE THOSE PATIENTS TO WAIT HALF AN HOUR ! I asked why I wasnt told sooner or at the time of check in so nobody's time would be wasted? All I got was "the best we can do is reschedule and soonest available is MID SEPTEMBER " when I've been trying to get it removed since JUNE !! They are very inconsiderate of their patients time and truly believe that we're on their time. I had to lose out on my appointment to accommodate the next patients but I'm not given the same courtesy. What a joke.

Despite the construction detours and after rushing my tail off to make the appointment they refused to allow me to see the Doc because I ended up being ONE MINUTE late, Not an exaggeration! I do not know how many hours in the past I have waited in this clinics waiting rooms when I was on time. Unbelievable!!

I love this place. Everything about it I like. But recently my daughter just had to get her blood taken from the lab & this has been here for now a week. I just wanted to share information that I think we should be more careful & keep an eye for. Please.

Worst location! Please do yourself the favor and never come here for yourself or your children. The receptionist are very disrespectful and unprofessional. It's a dirty location with poorly mannered employees. The wait time for your appointment is about 30 minutes after you've arrived; yet if you show up late your appointment is canceled. I wanted to change to a better facility, this facility and the one in wheeling refused to give me my own medical records, because of their "policy" and wanted me to wait more than a month. When I changed locations the doctor mentioned to me issues that were not diagnosed or mentioned at this facility. Unprofessional.

How can they state that they are an "award winning" medical office? Who is actually giving them these awards? They obviously have never been a patient! The front desk employees are rude and condescending. The Dr's say they are only allowed to deal with 2 of your issues per visit. If you have a 3rd issue, you have to schedule another appointment. The referrals to see a specialist are a joke. I will definitely be looking for medical treatment elsewhere from now on.

I have had the WORST experience. This company literally doesn't care about their patients and this is why, my son is on behavioral medicine Dr. Hadid was out for an emergency they put in a urgent request(s) let me stress every day theres an urgent request being entered about this matter to the supervisor and other pediatricians that are covering for Dr. Hadid. The end result there is none not 1 person took the initiative to help my son not 1 person called to communicate let alone put in a temporary prescription til Dr. Hadid came back they literally allowed my son to be with out medication for 2 weeks. I called Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, 2nd week Monday and Tuesday every call I was told we will let our supervisor know and have a pediatrician call. If this was their child bet they wouldn't be brushed off. What happend to good customer service and doctors that care for their patients. Not this place STAY AWAY!!

I honestly don't know why people give poor ratings to this place? First of all it's a brand new beautiful facility and very spacious. I do agree that u MUST be on time for your appointment cuz they do run a tight ship, Also LUV the convenience of same day appts and all the nurse practitioners and doctors are great!

Called at 11am on Wednesday 10/18/23. Receptionist “JL” was incredibly rude from the BEGINNING. I don’t understand why as I was kind from the moment she answered the phone. It’s a shame bc all the other women who answer the phone tend to be nice & I’ve never had bad experiences with them before. JL needs customer service training and needs to learn how to better manage her tone and attitude. She's the bad apple at that facility and that reflects negatively on GFHE.

Walked in for my appointment that I waited for for 3 weeks. Waited in line but not sure why because there were 3 receptionists one working while the other 2 didn't care but I still waited. Then one of the receptionists ushered me to go to her. Then told me I was late by 3 minutes and already gave my appointment away to a walk in. I was there but waiting in line waiting for them to do their job. This is one of the most incompetent doctor offices I've ever been to. 3 minutes because I was waiting in line for them!! I followed their stupid policy THEY are the one not following it!! Evil people!!

All of the providers keep leaving because it’s a bad environment to work in. As a patient here I’ve seen several providers that were good but Dr. Nabanita BHOWMICK is one of the worst doctors to see, I repeat this woman does not have any compassion when it comes to caring for a patient, do not see this doctor!!! I repeat do not see this doctor!!!! There are many other qualified and more competent physicians and providers to choose from. If you are black unfortunately, there are no providers to choose from therefore you have to be your own patient advocate. In conclusion, choose wisely when receiving care from this place.

This office has absolutely no respect for patients' time. They won't keep your appointment if you don't check-in 15 minutes before, but have no issue making the patient process 2+ hours from start to finish for something as simple as a 10 minute follow-up appointment.

I have only come across a few nice people on staff. The rest could care less about you here. When a mistake is made they point fingers instead of taking the blame. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! Even if you don’t have insurance, look elsewhere. They’d literally overlook you and send you away even if you are extremely ill.

I arrived for my 8 am appointment at 8:04 and was told because i was late that i had to be seen as a walk in. It's" their policy". Stupidest policy ever for a pediatric facility.

This is Kimberly Dover horrible referral department. Seems as if my health is a joke. I’ve been calling for 3 months now and call weekly to only keep getting no results. Had a referral mailed out with wrong specialist info on it, found the correct info on my own. Called in and gave them the correct information for the referral like the Dr new address to add to referral and only keep getting the same referral sent out over and over with the same wrong information. I’m in severe pain daily and they can’t help me at their office and was told I need a specialist and only for them to not be able to provide a referral, which is needed so I can see a specialist. I’m beyond upset as well as in pain. I’ve left multiple voicemail for managers over the department to reach out and still nothing😩

My daughter and I both come to the clinic for dental work. Yes, sometimes we wait but not any more than we have had to wait at other offices. The care we get is good and thorough and we appreciate the service so much. Our experience with the front desk has been positive. No complaints at all for the care and attention we receive. It is a busy office... i'm thankful for the help we receive.

Have been coming here for many years and the staff is phenomenal! Very caring and understanding, always listening and working with you to find appropriate treatment. They do get booked up fast but offer same day appointments when you call early in the morning.

Contrary to some reviews l've read, time from check-in to being taken to exam room has been fairly quick, usually 5 to 10 minutes. And while the staff is often on the phone they appear to be handling patient related issues. I use this facility at least monthly for several years and find staff to be focused and helpful. RECOMMENDED!

Horrible experience. First the appointment, I arrived on time. They gave my appointment to others since I should have come 30mins earlier as they said. Reschedule a new appointment. Second the appointment, I arrived 30mins earlier . After check in, I was told to wait. In the next 1.5 hr waiting, no one called my name and I was totally ignored. Finally,I come to the front desk, and they told me my doctor was fell behind . There are two options , reschedule or wait for another half hour. This is the way they treat sick people. On their website, they told you they're award winner.

I took my daughter here for 7 years. Over the past few years it become nearly impossible to get in. I’d schedule appointment after appointment just for them to cancel every single one. The last time I went in after -confirming- my appointment with the receptionist, signed in, sat in the waiting room for 15 minutes just to be called to the desk and be told my appointment has been cancelled -again-. Very unprofessional. The doctors are good but actually getting in to see one is a complete nightmare.

The doctors are great...but their referrals department needs to improve. They won't email or call to give you the information where you are being referred to, they mail it which can take up to a week. When my referral finally arrived, I called the provider listed on the referral and the phone number is no longer in service, not even google can provide information about the place I'm being referred to. I tried calling the case manager listed on the referral form, she didn't answer so I left a voicemail and after almost a week I'm still waiting for them to call me. I ended up doing research on my own to find a specialty care I needed to take care of my problem. This would be the second time something like this happens here

Unfortunately with these federally funded facilities, overcrowding and moderate quality healthcare is the norm. I've only been to this location once for family planning services. Wait times are high even if you arrive early for your appointment. Reception was helpful and didn't give me any problems. I wanted the depo shot but there is a truly bizarre procedure in place. For some odd reason they want YOU, the patient, to go and pick up the medication from a pharmacy, then return to the clinic so that they can administer the shot. I've never heard of a practice like this in my life, and I've been to my fair share of clinics. No explanation was given as to why they don't have the meds already in stock. This is clearly inconvenient for the patient and a better procedure should be implemented. I ended up going with a different birth control option. I'll also likely be pursuing care elsewhere.

I have been going to this clinic for years and their service is super excellent, very friendly staff.
