Just ordered a slice of cheese pizza, and cheese fires from Tommys through doordash. Everything worked out OK. Then I opened the pizza box. The pizza crust is rock solid. I actually have a video of me attempting to break it apart. This is absolutely disgusting. Thankfully doordash gave me a full refund. But how are they even able to sell food like this?

I was ordering through drive thru and as in pulling up I can see an employee handling my meal without gloves or wearing a mask. His name is Jeremy. I understand that they are uncomfortable but come on put on glove while handling pols food. This is disgusting and shouldn't be allowed. Will never come back here again. Will be telling friends and family not to come here.

Had gotten a bunch of food for my whole family and the 4 of us all ended up getting food poisoning and were throwing up and all that for a couple days it really messed my brother up also, unfortunate because we have had their food on previous occasions and it was delicious. Now none of us want to take the chance on taking out again, I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy

I’ve been going here for a long time, and recently it’s gotten a lot worse. A lack of staff, poorer food quality. And elevated prices on top of it all. I’m losing faith.

Just ordered the ribs dinner as I have many times before with no trouble, waited 15 minutes to get them got home and opened the box to the smallest ribs I have ever seen before , paid over 20.00 for this meal and still have to eat something else because they are so small I am very disappointed. And they are cold

Hotdog special was a good deal but not that great tasting. Buns were not steamed and the size of the hotdogs were not much thicker than a pencil.

Red flag when they make Their own hot dog. Fries where hard and not cooked even when the pizza slice came out the oven the cheese still looked old🤦‍♂️ just terrible and so sad not many places in the burbs to eat and I will not be back

$12 dollar turkey bacon sandwich on rye came with 3 peices of meat and paid for extra bacon and got 3 pieces total. Used to be good but they have gone downhill.

Would give zero if I could. Got intense food poisoning after eating a gyro, was in bed for a full day could barely drink anything let alone eat anything. Will never go back to this establishment again.

Went and got a couple gyros yesterday for dinner. Quick service. Drive thru girl was very nice. Clean place from what I saw. Came out hot and correct. Great place!

3 stars is generous,but the quality of the beef is very good. So why 3 stars? The price is high, my order was correct but prepared poorly. Over $13 for a beef and a Pepsi , that's steep, I can accept its the cost for quality meats but every beef I've ever had from here is served swimming in juice and pit into a plastic bag as to try to not soak through to everything else even though I always 100% of the time order my sandwich dry, sometimes specifying "bone dry". Not that I like a dried up sandwich but if I order dry I get something that can be handled instead of eaten like soup, I like my juice in the side so I can dip it as I eat it and not eat the thing like soup. Shouldn't be hard . mozzarella should be shredded, not sliced and laid on top. Bread should be toasted or at least somewhat firm. I'll still pick Tommy's over portillos every time but details matter, if the price is high try to get the preparation correct , it's obvious the quality of meat is excellent, just spend an extra 10 seconds to make the food to order. Sloppy soggy beefs aren't for a everyone.

If you were a fan of Tommy's 2+ years ago (basically the to-go of choice of my childhood), be prepared to be disappointed by the Tommy's of today. The menu has degraded to food so subpar and overpriced that you're better off going to McDonald's if you want a quick burger and fries, because the quality is higher and the price cheaper. The burger, fries, wings, popcorn chicken, pizza and beef are so weak, they're not even a shadow of what they once were. Tommy's has always acted as a "budget Portillo's", but with the menu prices so inflated and food so pathetic, just go to Portillo's.

I have never ordered a bad meal. Service is quick. The employees have always been friendly. The building is clean.

My adult daughter and I had the mac & cheese bites and I had a spicy polish dog. The bites were so yummy, hot, perfect and easy to chew after my daughter had root canal done. We highly suggest you try these. I loved the spicy polish dog and thought the portions were great for the cost. The service was amazing, too. Food was perfect! Hit the spot!!!

Once my favorite restaurant, the food quality has drastically dropped. My meal was 2 hot dogs and fries. My meal was cold and it was $10. I hope it can return to its glory.

Poor customer service!!! I ordered an $11.88 value meal, while I waited for my order at the drive-thru window. I asked may I get a cup of ice water also, she said it would an additional charge for the cup of ice water. Never said the price. I said really. Then she got the manager. Then he come over and said that there was a .25 cent charge but they have an complimentary cup that he could give me as many of those I wanted. I said that's fine then. Then he walks away. Although I went to the Tommy's on route 176 in Crystal Lake the day before and they gave me an ice water of the standard size cup at no charge and didn't blink an eye. Because I assumed that he had enough business acumen after a customer spent $22.00 on an order, he figured that it would be good customer service not making you feel like your getting nickel'd and dime'd (which he was right) since I already paid in both cases already, not to do another transaction for a quarter. I realize all products cost money but the cost of one paper cup, lid and a straw. Compared to the cost of as many as I wanted of the plastic cups??? Then when I received my order they put in 27 napkins in the bag for 1 value meal. So if they're trying to save money on products, a good way to start would be not giving 27 napkins away for one order. (I counted them). And the free cups, they don't have lids that fit them, so i hope you don't hit bump in the road or it will spill in your car... Maybe that's why they give you 27 napkins???? i

Undercooked pizza puff and over cooked dry gyro meat. Just garbage. Even the steak sandwhich doesn’t have steak. It’s chopped and shredded meat… disgusting.

Italian beef is a must! Juicy, flavorful and a lot of meat. Ask for au jus on the side for extra flavor.

These guys were about to close in three minutes and stayed a lil longer to make sure my babies could get their much anticipated onion rings. Thank you so much, Tino and staff, here and in Woodstock!

These guys have the best beef sandwiches. I go out of my way to get them. The service is quick and the guys and girls who work there are phenomenal.

Had a taste for a burger and got the Tommy burger here, really hit the spot. Wanted fried mushrooms as well but they don’t serve it anymore so I got a tamale. Clean place, friendly staff. Would come back for more.

It's a bit hit and miss, when it's good their fish and chips or their footling polish is the best thing around here, but sometimes it's so overcooked it's inedible.

Came through drive thru today and ordered 3 two-dog specials. Received some sort of “special” they were having. No one said anything to me! Told manager I would come in around dinner time and pick up my 3 missing hotdogs and he said he would have to charge me?! The F!? YOU messed up my order and YOU want to charge me for YOUR mistake?! Never again! If you can’t properly train your staff at the drive thru then maybe the MANAGER should be taking orders! Crystal Lake here we come!

Great neighborhood hotdog stand!

First time ordering Tommy's catering and honestly have to say it was AWESOME. Way better than another famous chain hot dog/burger place, in case you don't know it starts with a P. Used to order from the other place all the time then my wife decided to give Tommy's catering a try, we are both glad we did. From answering our questions from the start, through ordering, delivery and setup in the kitchen it was a very pleasant experience. Our guests loved the three trays we ordered and pleasantly surprised it was from Tommy's. The price was good compared to the amount of food in each tray, the delivery was within the time frame and the food HOT, not warm but so hot it was hard to handle the hot dish trays. Will DEFINITELY order from Tommy's catering for our next large party. Way to go guys you've definitely earned repeat business.

Service is terrible thru drive thru. You need to retain your staff in listening skills and reading an order. I ordered 2 hot dog specials, one with ketchup only, and a cherry cheese no ice, well she gave ice in the drink. The other hot dog special was with ketchup, mustard, onion, pickles, celery salt and sport peppers 🌶, Sierra mist no ice, well no sport peppers and there was ice in my Sierra mist. Also ordered 2 cheese cups for the fries, no cheese cups. She read my order back to me correctly, I expect my order to be right ✅. I am sorry there is no excuse for this. Ever since covid, the last year, your drive thru service is terrible. Get it right people. I spend my hard earned money and I expect my order to be right. Called the store and he suggested I drive back for the cheese cups, wow, already home so all he could do is take a name and # and write it on a piece of paper for credit for 2 cheese cups. Well I should have gone a little further and gone to Kostas, at least I know my order would be right. And your people working the drive thru we not very nice. So I think next time Kostas it is.!!!!!!
