I
have
been
with
MBD
Karate
for
over
1
decade,
and
there
is
no
other
place
I
would
go.
It's
very
family
oriented,
and
both
my
sons
are
in
it.
They
are
interested
in
giving
the
kids
real
life
skills,
not
just
a
McDojo
degree
in
2-3
years,
and
part
of
the
assessment
is
maturity
and
character.
They
have
held
in-house
and
city
wide
tournaments
which
help
encourage
kids
along
the
way.
A
major
highlight
is
the
annual
park
picnic
where
everyone
comes
together
as
a
family.
I
feels
safe
dropping
my
kids
off
and
running
an
errand
to
get
them
after
class.
I
also
was
able
to
initiate
an
adult
class
for
myself,
and
they
were
super
accommodating
over
the
years,
and
I
myself
have
learned
karate.
They
are
carrying
on
the
tradition
of
Okinwan
style
karate
(Sho
Ray
Go
Ju),
but
they
add
elements
of
BJJ,
Muay
Thai,
Arnis
and
Krav
Mana
(best-practices)
so
the
student
has
a
wholelistic
appreciation
of
other
arts.
My
highest
endorsement.
Sensei
Michelle
is
very
accommodating,
not
intimidating,
and
if
you
have
special
concerns,
just
talk
to
her.
Sensei
Bennie
runs
a
lot
of
adult
classes
/
fitness,
and
Sensei
Michael
does
many
of
the
kid
classes.
It's
a
family
passion.
