We had DJ Kamau for our students prom and I must say he did a great job. He played all sorts of decades and genres of music and he did an awesome job of reading the room and playing songs at the right time. He kept everyone on the dance floor. He was also very attentive to us and made sure we were ready whenever transitioning to various things like our slideshow, prize announcements, and announcing prom king &queen. We had DJ Kamau for our wedding and he was THE BEST! We had a pretty random list of music jumping all sorts of decades and genres and he did an awesome job of reading the room and playing songs at the right time. He also did some sort of mixes/mashups of the songs and they were all so fun! He kept everyone on the dance floor. He was also very attentive to us and made sure we were ready whenever transitioning to various things like toasts, first dance, anniversary dance, etc.

At least 3 guests commended the DJ that night. One guest said that all the songs were in her favorite playlist. People danced all night. It was an African and Caucasian wedding and both parties danced all night. I, the bride, didn't sit down at all. Even when greeting guest, I felt I kept missing good songs the dj was playing. Great great!!

Kamau is the consummate professional and an amazing DJ! He was very responsive to our questions and suggestions in the lead up to the wedding. He also communicated with us perfectly as needed during our big day. He has a genuine warmth and sense of fun that came through in all of his communications with our guests throughout the night. The musical selection, song progression of the set, and the transitions between songs were excellent. I’ve never seen a higher percentage of guests dancing at a wedding. There were times that it seemed like no one was sitting down. Kamau really was a big part of making our big day special. Kamau was very professional in the build up to our wedding and literally killed it on the day of the wedding. DJ Kamu gave us great service from our first phone meeting to our last dance! He was great at communicating about our song list, time line and overall wedding experience. He even helped set up equipment for my brother to play the ukulele during our ceremony. Everyone was on the dance floor all night, having a blast! Hello everyone my wmy wedding was August the 27th this year , New Era Live Get my music for my wedding. The music was awesome if you aren't there you missed a party the DJ Kamau , Had the groomsman taking the jackets off dropping them on the floor dancing. This review is long overdue. It literally took a month to come down off of the high of a successful wedding. Kamau was a huge part of that success. He met with my husband and I to go over the details 30 days out from the wedding; he kept in communication weekly; he help us create a line that and music list for every step in the wedding process. Then when it was dance time, he played to the crowd. Unfortunately, where we had our wedding, there was no internet, so he could not take on too many requests, but he worked with the coordinators and family members to add in some crowd favorites. I would highly recommend him for any event.
