We took a distillery tour on 10/22 at 17:00 and the woman who lead the tour (I did not catch her name) did a great job! It was fun, informative, and we had a wonderful time! It was interesting to see the equipment and learn about the process of making the rye whiskey. I have a new appreciation for the alcohol now! The whiskey itself is strong but full of flavor. I definitely recommend experiencing this place if you’re visiting or living in Baltimore (you don’t have to like whiskey to enjoy the tour)!

I have been to many different distilleries over the years. This one is decent, the facility is beautiful, set by the water. Buildings are new, gift shop is great, bar is nice. It looks like they do have some nice events, and you can even rent time with their pot still if you have a recipe you want to try out. When we were there they had an event happening so obviously you can also rent out the bar area for events. So the tour. It is pretty short, pretty loud. The poor girl had to yell most of the time to be heard. The tasting was nice, very small amounts to try. Maybe a 1/4 shot, just enough to get a little taste, so I have had better tours and more in depth tastings. But all in all worth taking an hour out if you are in the area. Maybe grab some drinks and set outside by the water and relax. When we went there was a lot of road construction to get there. 5/19/2023, so hopefully when you stop in it is better.

Wow! A total experience nestled on the water! Very beautiful views and a great overall vibe! A friend gave invited me to a class. I do not drink, however you can definitely modify and recipe into non alcoholic. The grounds are laid out well, the staff is friendly. There is an abundance of things to do throughout the year. The restaurant was not open, but I'm looking forward to giving it a try. Go see this place for yourself, it doesn't disappoint!

Amazing distillery located right on the water in Baltimore harbor. They offer a gift shop, distillery tours, and private events. The tour is great and they let you try different whiskeys after showing you the whole whiskey making process!

We were originally scheduled for a tour and drink making class. There was a mixup with the tour which they were accommodating for… But still ended up, not working out due to lack of communication on their part. We decided to go to the bar and have a drink until our drink making class started, the bar had really good drinks and friendly staff. The drink making class was definitely the best part of the experience. The staff was really energetic and hands-on and the drinks we made were delicious. Will definitely recommend the cocktail making class.

Missed our tour by 15 minutes, couldn't stay for the next one. Sagamore refused to credit us our full price for the tour. Guess Plank needs the money more than I do.

Had a fabulous time touring the distillery at Sagamore Spirit. If you are a whiskey lover, I highly recommend making the trip to book a tasting and tour the facility. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and the distilling process. They also have a great gift shop. Put this on your list of things to do in Baltimore.

Surprised my boyfriend with a distillery tour, tasting, and water taxi cruise at sunset. He loved it. We had Dustin show us around the property and he was incredibly knowledgeable. He was able to geek out with my boyfriend after the tour about whiskey and made a fabulous recommendation for a bottle to take home and try. Mike was the guide for our water taxi ride and got the entire boat to sing him a happy birthday. It was such a fabulous evening and my boyfriend felt special and we both had a truly great time.

Did the tour earlier today and it was very informative. Our tour guide, Jake, was extremely knowledgeable and witty. After the tour, we hung around for Whiskey on the Waterfront.

Incredible distillery! Obviously the products are great, but whether you're coming here for the restaurant, going to hang out on the lawn, having a tour, or doing one of their big events, they put their full energy into making it a great experience. We are Whiskey Thieves for life because of how incredible their events are. We just had an incredible experience with their 2022 Penny's Proof launch, and are looking forward to the tasting menu dinner with their Port Finish release. They represent the best Maryland has to offer, and is a must visit!

I had a wonderful time here. Rye whiskey usually is my preference but their whiskey is great. The tour was entertaining and the guide did a wonderful job explaining about the process and unique qualities of their Maryland Rye Whiskey. Obviously the tasting at the end was one of the highlights. They walk you through the different whiskeys as you taste and learn about each one.

I can't help to constantly rant and rave about this place!! They're my family away from my family. I always feel so at home there. I learned how to craft two drinks. They had such patience with me. The two young ladies were absolutely attentive to all of our needs. Thank you Sagamore for letting us make lifetime memories that we can hold and cherish in our hearts forever!!

Sagamore is such a beautiful distillery. I took my husband here for his birthday. We went on the tour. He loved it!! Johnathan is truly a gem! Very knowledgeable of the history and background of the distillery. His kind nature made our tour so much more enjoyable and fun. Him being the bartender was also a plus! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

What a fantastic find! The flight of ryes was great and the entire staff were lovely. Christine gave us a great background on the history of the distillery, and Jonathan helped us navigate the different ryes and also let us know which ones we could only find there. Highly recommended for anyone who likes rye whisky!

Pretty good tour. Not a huge whiskey drinker but a good idea for a date night. I wish they had food on site. Mixed drinks were good.

This was my first time visiting this establishment and I was impressed with the proximity of distillery to the beautiful water views right outside there back door. I am the first to admit that I’m not a big whiskey fan, however the pineapple ryegarita won me over. The canned cocktail had a sweet citrus taste with a slight kick from the rye whiskey. Make sure to take the distillery tour to see how this very local whiskey is made.

Visited on a Saturday, coincidentally the same time they were having their monthly Whiskey on the Waterfront event so it was fairly crowded and lively. They have a very nice, spacious and newer distillery campus that made for an easy visit with a tavern and gift shop. The tour was a highlight. The tour guide, Deidre, was lively, engaging and funny which made for an enjoyable experience.

Outstanding tour and super friendly and knowledgeable guide. Totally worth the trip. Their ryes are unique and span a wide range of flavors. We grabbed a drink after the tour and sat in the sunshine next to the water, where they have ample seating.

If you're gonna visit this place, then a tour is the only way to truly appreciate all of the intricacies, history, and painstaking processes involved in crafting this amazing rye. We spent Labor Day weekend at the Sagamore Pendry celebrating my fiancee's birthday, and part of our stay included a tour of Sagamore Spirit (which I wasn't even aware of until doing research on the naming and history behind the Pendry). From the time we got there, I was in awe at the size of the place, and the various buildings that house all of the machinery and raw materials were spotless. Definitely the cleanest distillery I've ever seen. The tastings were also excellently done, with great descriptions and enough pour to give the palate a chance to appreciate each one. Oh, and our tour guide: Keyah definitely needs a raise. She made the entire experience SO much fun, and knows this place backwards and forwards. Such a great sense of humor and candor, which was refreshing; it really brought people out of their shells on the tour, which I've noticed in the past may people don't do. I'll definitely be calling ahead for the next tour to ensure that she will be giving it. I ended up buying three bottles of the small-batch/distillery exclusive ryes - that is how good they are. Highly recommend this place, and Keyah's tour. You won't be disappointed in the slightest.

It was a fun and interesting learning experience with the tour. The taste sampling in the end was well worth it for trying out special limited time barrels and other creations. Definitely worth at least a return visit. The staff were very helpful and nice with answering questions or providing assistance for those in need. I personally bought two items there. A double oak rye bottle and hot sauce. No regrets.

Super chill, laid back experience in a spacious, water front spot. The distillery tour is cool - and a great deal - if you're into whiskey/ bourbon. Otherwise, I would recommend to stop by if you're looking for a calm, scenic spot with tasty cocktails. Limited cocktail menu , 7 cocktails, but the few are made well!

Amazing tour!! You will learn a lot about the process of making rye whiskey. Sagamore takes the process to the next level with use of spring water from the sagamore farm to some of the best tech to make the best whiskey out their.
