Front desk gal was friendly, helpful and professional. The room was wonderful and comfortable. I loved the lay out. The refrigerator was in good working condition. Everything was clean. I don’t know why I thought they had complimentary breakfast, but they don’t. They have a room with various snacks, breakfast bars, frozen meals and ice cream, etc. There was nothing non dairy but they have a hornbachers grocery within a mile or so. Parking was good. There is a road leading south to campus so you don’t have to try getting back on to 19 going west during rush hour.

Chose this hotel because it is literally in the shadow of the Fargodome where we were seeing a concert. Flew in from Milwaukee on an earlier AM flight. I had contacted the hotel hoping to be able to check in earlier. When we arrived, the room was ready and the person manning the desk (I'm sorry, I don't recall her name) was SO GREAT. The photos are of the view from our room. Just to show how "lovely" the weather was for the stay. :) The room was spacious and exactly as described. If I ever need to stay in Fargo in the future, I'll certainly be coming back.

I actually did not stay as I needed to cancel. But I needed to give my experience with dealing with this hotel. I had booked through Expedia and learned about an authorization being charged for a first night when you book even if you specifically state to “pay at check in”(learned this about 14 days after being charged). I spoke with general manager Abby Gunderson and she did explain that they have been trying to explain this to Expedia due to peoples confusion about this. I was so so upset and recommend NEVER booking through Expedia and only through this hotel directly. Abby was the nicest person to talk with even though she could hear my frustration. I am sure the hotel is wonderful if I had stayed but wanted to make sure she got credit for being fabulous to interact with when a situation isn’t what you thought it would be and her being professional throughout the interaction. When I do get to Fargo I will stay here just for the customer service she gave me. Thank you for listening to my frustration and trying to make it right! p.S. Expedia I hate you and will pay more to book directly through hotel website.

I reserved a handicap room which was as far away from the desk as it could get especially since I was using a walker. Very nice room, well equipped for a lengthy visit. I only stayed one night.

Bed was comfy but room wasn't. Shower had silver fish coming out of the drain. It had a kitchen but only one knife and two spoons for eating. Once a week maid service and you had to replenish the toilet paper yourself. Not worth the price.

We stayed while attending an event at NDSU. Front desk was excellent and very helpful with a glitch in my reservation. Room was clean and quiet. Will stay again.

Its location is great but room was outdated and not clean. Room was smelling like a mix of mold and cigarette smoke. Hallways and elevators were also gross

Had to drop off my hunny at airport next day, previous reservation at different motel was a disaster. He made this reservation and what a treat. Very quiet, extremely clean, comfy bed, and whatever you may need at the desk. Would gladly stay here again!

The rooms were nice, but the front desk individual wasn't very friendly. Our rooms weren't ready almost two hours after check-in time and was given no explanation. The manager did provide one the next day and was pleasant.

lisa at the front desk was SO kind to us after we had to come to the hotel for two nights because our plumbing went out. she made sure we had everything we needed and made us smile during a stressful time! the room was great and the little pantry they had was cute! we also were able to bring our cats which was so great. 10/10

Probably one of the best hotels you can find in Fargo. The room was large, filled with a full kitchen set and a large desk. The bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable and clean. The lobby had a large room to hangout and watch TV in and there was a lending closest, pretty much you can borrow anything from there like either a Board-game or a coffee maker.

Great hotel and the room was excellent! We needed a kitchen in our room and the one we had was great. The beds were very comfortable and it was a great experience overall. It was also nice to have restaurants close by to get some food and drinks.

Absolutely love staying at this location when I’m in the area. The kitchenettes are great for those who aren’t into fast food or dining out. The beds are the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Parking is close. The building is quiet. I love that you can check out games or equipment at the front desk and the little convenience shop is helpful when I forget something or need a midnight snack. Staff is always friendly and helpful and they don’t rush us out of the room right away.

The hotel does not provide a comforter for the sofabed. That apparently is their policy. Most people would expect the same bedding to be available for all the beds in their suite but that's not happening at Candlewood Suites. Not sure who the genius was that made this policy but know I won't be staying at a Candlewood property again. Still can't believe a hotel ran out of bedding lol.

I was out of town for work and they put me up in this Hotel and they paid for the room. The hotel asked for a credit card for Incidental damages to the room if there is any. Witch there wasn't any. But they charged my card card for the room. It took a lot of extra time on the phone that shouldn't have taken. So, people watch your credit card statements when you are going out of town for work, and your company is picking up the cost of your room, and they ask you for your credit card for Incidental damages. When I was in Texas 2 weeks before this it had happened there as well.
