Lots of free parking. Short walk to the cliffs with long walks along them with great views. Nice museum describing how they formed. Gift shop and multiple other small shops all built into the hill side. Diner and snack shop with gluten free options. Everything start to get busy around noon so try to get there well before that. The best pictures of the cliff is to take the L side walk so you can shoot to the right with the sun behind you.

Nice natural place! I came with my friends and enjoyed the walks and the clear air. Scenery place and deserve many visits. The weather was sunny and delightful to see the ocean. Visitors should expect to walk so bring your walking/ climbing shoes. Gifts shoppes at the entrance have local products.

Absolutely STUNNING! I would recommend giving yourself three to four hours to do the hike. Depending on the weather and lighting outside, there are many spots to take great photos from and so can the incredible natural beauty. I got there from Galway by public bus which took about 3 hours. Otherwise you can join in tour group as well.

The day we visited the cliffs it was luckily sunny and so the experience was enhanced. Busy place. Ticket price was considerable for the level of service provided. Basically all the fees is for entry into the cliffs and parking. The cliffs are beautiful. The whole track is probably 12 km but we only did one side and really enjoyed it. You can easily spend a whole day here with family.

Just spectacular! This rates right up there with The Seven Sisters cliffs and the Cliffs of Dover in England. Breathtaking views (and breathtaking wind most of the time, I suspect). If you plan a decent amount of time, there are trails all along the tops of the cliffs - you could spend plenty of time here with many different views and photo ops.

The visitors centre, the car park spaces and general planning and accessibility to everyone at any level of fitness is astonishing. And cliffs.. cliffs are amazing but you better be more than 1.50m tall (5') or you'll need someone to lift you up to see them. If you go there make sure to get into the visitors centre and use everything there they have to offer- it is more an experience than just sightseeing. Otherwise the 12 euro/ per adult you pay to park makes for a very expensive 20 min walk up and down to glimpse for a wee moment at cliffs that are quite far from where you're standing.

Incredible. It rained the only day we were able to get to the cliffs but it was still the most amazing thing to see. I recommend getting there early to get a spot in the parking lot + try to avoid the fog if you know it's going to rain. Most people stopped hiking after 500 yards so if you're able to keep going, do it. Wear hiking boots! It can get treacherous and muddy. Once in a lifetime experience, don't let rain stop you.

The cliffs are beautiful and worth the visit! The walk from the start to the end will take you about 2 hours and it's quite cold and breezy. There is another way to reach the end of the cliffs and that is to drive to the next parking spot and enjoy an amazing view. The tickets are €12 but i got the student which was €10 but no one checks and I didn't a lot of people buy it as well.

Does not disappoint!! Beautiful cliffs with extended trails if you so choose. Don't be put off by the parking and crowds...once you are across the street, you will forget about how commercialized it feels!

It’s cave like structure with a full type of facilities and attractions underground. There’s an Interactive exhibition, 2 x cafes, Heritage and Craft gift shop. Staff providing guided tours, assistance with information, mobility assistance. They do offer services: blankets for picnic on the loan, binoculars, luggage storage and phone charging.

Did you know they had cow fields right next to the cliffs!? Well, I didn't, and it was awesome to see cows randomly! The cliffs are amazing as you would expect the weather seemed to be ever changing. At one point, it seemed we were going through high winds, snow, rain, and hail, which was definitely a fun experience. This is a workout for sure, but the view is breathtaking

🌟 Mesmerizing Beauty! 🌊 Visited the Cliffs of Moher today with my wife. As a water resources engineer, I was fascinated by the geological marvel. The views are breathtaking, paths well-maintained, and the experience unforgettable. A must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers. 🌄🌊

This is a must-see for visitors to Ireland. Park the car and take the bus. The roads going up are extremely narrow and very hilly. The sight itself is breath taking. The paths have both stairs and paved steep hills. There is limited assistance for help. The visitors centre is full of beautiful pictures and a lot of information on the wildlife in the area. I would highly recommend this site.

Very beautiful! Captivating. It was yellow wind warning really challenging to walk but very fun. A must try experience at least once in a lifetime. Worth the 3 hour ride from Dublin

When coming to Ireland, this place is the obligated visit. You cannot leave the country without coming here at some point. The view is magnificent and the walks invigorating. The only downside is the amount of people. It's highly likely that you come here with a tour, so ask the guide about the rock in front of the cliffs (since everything here has a story, this is no exception).

This is my second time visiting the cliffs. The first was in 2017, and I must say, they never get old. The views are breathtaking and the whole experience is astounding. Whenever you get a chance to go to the Cliffs of Moher, always go, no matter if you've been before. You'll never regret it!

To put it simply, you come here to be amazed and gaze in awe at the forces of nature. Be prepared to do a little of walking and stair climbing and spend at least a few hours to truly appreciate the experience. Besides good walking/non slip shoes, bring a poncho or rain gear.

What can I say, it’s beautiful. If you have good weather and it’s clear, I highly recommend going at sunset since the light will be directly on the cliffs. If it’s not clear be prepared to wait as the experience just will not be the same. The visitor center is cool with interesting exhibits and interactions. A must see if you are in the area.

Absolutely my favorite stop in all of Ireland. We went on a weekday around sunset and it was perfect, no crowds and beautiful views. I love cows too so they were just icing on the cake. I now joke that in my next life I want to be a Cliffs of Moher cow. The gift shop was closing soon so we didn’t spend too much time in there, but they had a lot of cool merchandise. I also got a slice of cake in the cafe and it was so good. It was extremely windy when we went but no rain so I can’t complain :)

Amazing visit during our trip to Ireland, I highly recommend it! Movie buffs may recall that the Cliffs are also the Cliffs of Insanity from The Princess Bride. Stunning views and beautiful landscape. Definitely something worth going to see. Note, it was very windy when we were there, so you may want to ensure you have a jacket. You can spend several hours walking the trails if you want, so dress appropriately.

Going just before sunset was awesome. Lower crowds and amazing views. We actually got 2 visits out of our tickets because the first day was no visibility with the fog. The next day was perfect viewing!

A miracle next to your eyes, even though million years before created ! At the winter seems more distant but more glorious.. in the summer more close but more fantastic! Visit it and take the trail or pass by the experience touristic office.. don’t forget to walk up to the hil!!

So we bought the ticket while parking and walked over to the visitor center. It has: a bit of history about the place, a big photo booth with a greenscreen, a 4d experience which was a short rendered flight flowing a bird down the cliffs while occasionally getting sprayed with water or getting a bit of wind from some fans. Upstairs is a small Cafe, where you can get small snacks or bigger dishes as well as a variety of drinks. It's alright nothing to spectacular but enough to keep you engaged and give all the additional information you could ask for about this place

  • 5/5 Jordy C. 7 months ago on Google
The cliffs are stunningly beautiful and definitely worth a visit. It was incredibly busy but there is still plenty of room to enjoy the views. The visitors centre itself was informative and there is a cafe on site as well as gift shop.

This is something spectacular and even sacred. This is something you won't see in any other part of the world. I soaked up the views and the magnitude of walking along the cliffs! Unfortunately the weather plays a big part in how your experience can be. Rain and mist can make visibility zero. We were lucky to view it just before a big rainstorm hit (we all got soaking wet). The wind is also very strong up there. I suggest you take warm jackets, proper shoes (slippery on paths when wet) and raincoats. We went hiding at the information center, which also contained beautiful photos and information. There is a restaurant and toilets: both very neat.

Great place, the place is really well constructed to ensure a pretty view. It was pretty windy, but thus is part of the experience. Ant the view is absolutely stunning ! I highly recommend to buy your tickets beforehand, or you might lose precious time in the parking.

Not much to say about the cliffs, pictures say enough and it's definitely a must see if visiting Ireland. Pray for good weather but be ready for rain, fog or extreme winds. Probably all three combined, with a sprinkle of sun, but still worth the visit. Great day tours going from Dublin, highly recomend paddywagon

I had an incredible experience at the Cliffs of Moher! The landscapes were breathtaking, and I highly recommend setting aside a full day to explore all the scenic views. The scenery was truly wonderful, and although there's quite a bit of walking involved, it's worth every step. Plus, the area is well-maintained, with toilets and shops available until 7 pm. It's a rejuvenating and unforgettable visit!

The Cliffs are absolutely stunning! Like others have said, bring warm layers (even in the summer) and be prepared to walk. A lot. Also be prepared for a lot of wind! There is especially an area I dubbed “the wind tunnel” because the winds in there was so fierce I almost felt as though I would be swept off my feet! So if you have weaker legs or don’t weigh a lot, I would recommend going here with a buddy or bringing walking sticks. I’d also recommend bringing snacks and taking breaks to enjoy the scenery. I walked about 5 miles here without food and needless to say, I felt terrible. The visitor’s center has places to eat, so you can grab a nice rewarding meal after your gorgeous trek! The tower to the north and the visitor’s center are cool places to see as well and give more history to the cliffs! A must-see for all touring Ireland!

Ireland welcomed me with open arms, but it was my cross-country journey around Ireland that truly captured my soul. From behind the wheel of a manual vehicle, I embraced the land's rhythm – every twist and turn unveiling a story. The Cliffs of Moher were a spectacle to behold; not only were they the cinematic backdrop to Harry Potter's adventures and the Cliffs of Insanity in "The Princess Bride", but standing atop, one can't help but be moved by the beauty. The chilling winds carried whispers of ancient tales, tempered only by a gentle breeze. As the day stretched on, a late sunset around 9 pm painted the sky with hues of hope and longing, adding to the awe of the experience. But it wasn't just the natural wonders that touched my heart. The locals, with their unmatched warmth, became friends and collaborators. Their dedication to translating my books into Gaelga Irish language stands as a testament to Ireland's rich literary tradition and the connections that stories can forge. For any traveler or writer, Ireland is not just a destination; it's an emotion, an inspiration. Dive in, and let its magic envelop you.

Cliffs of Moher, placed in the western coast of Ireland, are among the most amazing natural spaces around the world. I recommend to book in advance the tickets and to wear sportive shoes, as the path is narrow and sometimes full of stones. We walked almost 2 hours, but you can spend there at least 4 or 5 hours. A Unique experience!

While visiting Clare we went to the Cliffs of Moher. It doesn’t feel real! The day we went was partially cloudy and we had a great view still. €12 for adults & €10 for students. Such great family time and opportunity to get good pictures. Lovely experience centre, cafe and shops there too. Plenty of dogs abut for animal lovers and a man playing an accordion. 100% recommend to visit and I will definitely visit again 👍🏻

Still a great place, we drop by every time we visit the mid-west. The visitor centre has everything you'd need. Cafe, restaurant, exhibition, restrooms, souvenir shop and other craft shops near the main centre. Good to see that it is improving over time. Luckily we got a nice weather this time. =)

The sights were breathtaking! There are two ways to get to the highest points, one is a pathway and the other are steps. We opted for the pathway. The incline was a bit steep but very walkable. A good portion of the path was paved and then the rest was gravel. The walk to the top was well worth it!! Be sure to stop in the gift shop inside of the visitor's center at some point. They had some really beautiful things.

A definite MUST see when in Ireland. Absolutely breathtaking!! I toured here with Wild Rover Tours & had the funniest guide Murphy & awesome driver Joe look after us for the day. I would highly recommend booking with them. The commentary was funny but also very enlightening about the history of Ireland & even a little lesson in Gaelic words! Both the drive there & back are beautiful seeing the countryside. Highly recommend the visit 👌

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.. wear very warm dry shoes because there will be mud. Plan to bring a rain coat the weather turns fast. That being said the hikes are well worth it and the views are just breath taking

  • 5/5 Joshua H. 1 year ago on Google
The cliffs were absolutely gorgeous and the walk to see them was easy to moderate. The visitor center is a great place to make a day out of it as they have food, drinks, shops and information about the cliffs. Lots of places to stay as well for easy access. Very much a must see!

An otherworldly experience that the whole family will enjoy. It does involve walking and if you want to explore, be prepared to walk with many other people, sometimes down gravel paths in single file. If you stay on the path, you will be safe from getting close to the edge, but note that there will/can be some people that will disregard the roping and get dangerously close to the edges. There are the occasional food trucks along the way. Plenty of photo ops and stunning views for one to reflect on nature’s wonders.

Absolutely fantastic visit with my Wife and daughters from Cape Town, South Africa. The weather was a beautiful 29 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. The beauty of nature personified. Lovely walks and very well maintained. Overall a must when in Ireland.
