THE BEST!!! We had such a great experience here. Very relaxed and unpretentious dining. It really is such excellent good food. Perfect for both vegans and non-vegans. If you love honest Indian food and wonderful customer service, you’ll love Bhajiya.

Absolutely delicious Indian Street food, 100% plant based! What's not to love. The owners are such lovely people too. This is one of our new Goto vegan restaurants. The Dosa was delicious and the samosa chaat with tamarind sauce was a 10/10. Highly recommended.

Literally one of the best places to visit for authentic Indian food. We loved the food and the menu, but what we loved the most was the hygiene and cleanliness. The owner is really very welcoming and warm, which makes the experience memorable. Not like all typical Indian restaurants in Sydney, A must visit place!

Come here, you won’t regret it! The food was so flavorful and delicious and the owner is incredibly kind and passionate about her cookingβ€”I didn’t even bother ordering off the menu, the owner just asked me some questions and recommended what to get. I highly recommend the Samosa Chaat, probably is my new favorite Indian dish.

Fantastic. The food was so authentic, felt like it was as good as Home-made. Not overly oily, not too heavy on the stomach, not too sweet, just perfect. The samosa chaat was too good... Highly recommended. We also had the aaloo paratha, Halwa puri, almond chai and bhajiya platter. All were delicious. The owner and her wife are very courteous and down to earth. Would love to come here often.

Absolutely delicious! We stopped for a quick lunch before going back home, even though we are not vegan/vegetarian this place is just amazing. Very simple and cozy set up but what makes the difference is the passion the chef puts in her recipes. She and her husband make you feel at home and show their beautiful culture thru their food. You feel like they invited you in their home and treat you as special guests. In addition, you have the chance to make a donation and donate a meal. Sydney needs more places like this πŸ€— We’ll definitely come back for a huge dinner!

Packs a punch of flavour, yet simple, and healthy food. Clean eating is better and more enjoyable. Super friendly owners, who enjoy serving their creations. Too many Indian restaurants feel, extra oil and cream is better. Indian food is about being simple, healthy and enhanced by spices.

The food was amazing and very very cheap for a restaurant in Sydney. The range of vegan choices is huge and my partner had no issue finding a dish. Moreover, the owners are incredibly friendly and took a lot of time to explain the choices to us.

What a great idea to curate a menu full of amazing authentic Indian dishes in a vegan way. Absolutely loved the samosa chaat and halwa (semolina pudding). For sure my next favourite in Surry Hills! Also such beautiful hosts! Loved the warm welcome!

Wasn’t overwhelmingly satisfied. Was charged $12.50 for the lentil burger that was $10 on the menu. Did not come with fries/side. For reference Hungry Jacks does the large vegan meal for$11.60

Tummy full, heart happy. Such lovely Indian vegeterian snack and meal options made fresh to order using better for you ingredients. They are so flexible in accommodating your preference/spice level. We loved everything we ate and enjoyed the masala chai too.

Bhajiya is an amazing spot for vegan/vegetarian food. The dishes have the best, most unique flavor profiles and the owners are the sweetest people. I love that once you get enough loyalty points you can either get a free meal or pass one on to someone else. Happy to continue eating here :)

Amazing Indian food restaurant with amaing customer service, food & ethos! First time here and we had the best experience overall. It’s extremely rare to come across a restaurant that would ask you great questions when ordering food. I believe the person taking our order was the owner, and he asked us how hungry we were, any dietary restrictions, and our spice tolerance. We asked for recommendations and all the food we were recommended were so tasty. Love the fact that they give back to the community as well. Cannot wait to be back again!

This cute little nook in Surry Hills runs on kindness, which you can taste in their food and see in their eyes. I highly recommend for anyone who likes giving back to the community to support this place and help those less fortunate through the loyalty program. The food is amazing, I cannot wait to go back!

I have been planning to visit bhajiya for sometime and finally visited last week with my office colleagues. It was our team dinner and i told them about Bhajiya and indian vegan food which comes with so many different varieties and flavors .. so finally we met at Bhajiya and decided to go with set menu so that can try multiple food items as my colleagues are from China and japan and they haven't been to indian fod before. They loved the food items and appreciated how many varieties of food are made and so tasty .. we couldn't finish all food items as tummy was already full and so looking forward to visit again and taste remaining items.

The most friendly, accommodating hosts, and most delicious food you can get! I've eaten at the restaurant once and I was impressed with the welcoming service, their social work (feeding those who cannot afford meals), excellent quality and freshness of the food. As a result of that experience, I decided to try their catering service and they have exceeded expectations. No request or dietary requirement is too difficult (they can do coeliac and gluten free, and individual lunch packs, no alliums etc.) and adjust the flavours to suit a diverse range of palates. The menu is curated each time, so if you rely on them multiple days or have a different price per head, they'll make sure the food is different but equally delicious and filling each time. Quantity is not an issue as well, they've done as little as 4 people up to 80 people and the quality does not drop. I've relied on Don and Pallavi heavily for the last year and sometimes with late notice (within the week of event), but they've been nothing but gracious and professional with a smile and genuine concern to help if they can. Even the person who ate the food for every single occasion they've catered for, still wants to eat their food, and speaks highly of them saying they should/can scale up and have what it takes to go big! It's been an absolutely pleasure to deal with and work with them to feed our groups. Thank you so very much and wish you continued health and success. You deserve it! Sorry, I didn't take the picture of the delicious burger today and some images are not great but that's because of my camera, lack of skill and/or it's been tumbling around my backpack. I'm so glad I walked into your restaurant that evening, and I look forward to next time!

Great chaat and great chat with the friendly owners. Bhajiya serve Plant-based, traditional Indian food to suit satisfy of all spice levels and are great supporters of the Sydney homeless community. The world needs more people and businesses like this 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The food is absolutely disgraceful. Went for the first time tonight and got some take away. The Masala Dosa hardly had any filling and this weird Chinese chilli sauce smeared on it. The actual Dosa tasted like it had been warmed up in the microwave! Photo attached. Dosa's a thin and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a loads of potato filling. To call this Indian food, is a disgrace and my grandmother would be in shock if she saw this. The vada's have given me a migraine so unsure if they use MSG. The sauces are just weird. Dose's are usually served with yummy coconut chutney not some strange green and milk sauce.. Don't waste your money here. Go to an Authentic South Indian restaurant, there are plenty of better one's in Sydney.

I love the food, simply delicious. Taste like home. It's plant based good for health and price is great too. Service is excellent. The loyalty program they offering is great, you can a have free meal or donate to someone. Will be going soon.

The food served here feels homely and is healthy. The staff over here humble and the service is really good. And the owners are doing a really good job by not considering this as their business but a way of inculcating their vegan and healthy lifestyle on a larger scale. Also the loyalty program of providing food to the needy is commendable. In all a great place to visit.

I’d strongly recommend anyone to get Dosa Veg Medley from here. It has an avocado layer inside and is very very delicious.

Bhajiya special roll is a definite must try... Purely vegan restaurant....right opposite to Coles Epping... Non spicy food which can be customised to suit your tastebuds. Kids can eat too. So thats a plus. Do try the savouries...a taste for evryone. The best part - you can pay forward for a meal for anyone who can't afford it. Cheers for that gesture. Thank you for the lovely food and warm welcoming smiles.... 😊
