my Family and I was going to are previous dentist for years.Changed insurance so decided to try Avon center.When I was getting my cleaning the hygienist (that was extremely rough on the cleaning) was saying you need to replace all your silver fillings they look bad you also need crowns wear you had root canals total of 5 saying they looked brittle and you have four cavities. I said that’s strange I just had my last cleaning six months ago and I had no problems and everything seems fine. She said well that’s what you need the doctor will come in and take a look. Then the doctor comes in and says the exact same thing she did. I felt like this was a sales place out of Manhattan New York City. my wife and daughter had the same experience. We took our records and went elsewhere. Needless to say our cleanings we were told there are no cavities and no additional work needed.High pressure sales like this from a hygienist and a doctor I have never experienced before .Just my experience that I wanted to share.

I had a really bad experience in this office last year. I had a tooth cracked and needed root canal. The office does not have doctors that can perform root canal therapy on site, they use a traveling doctor who was only available once a week. Due to all kinds of scheduling issue I was in pain for weeks waiting for the appointment. Dr Bussiere did not have much simpathy over my situation, when I complained to him, he said “well this is your tooth, what do you want me to do about it” I could not believe what he said to me. After the root canal and crown, ($2500 later) I changed office. I wasn’t going to leave a bad review - have never done so for any business, but a year later, the tooth that had a root canal and expensive crown starts to hurt again. I had other crowns done from 20 years ago that never had a problem. This brings back the bad memory. I wished I checked review here when I decided to switch to them 2 years ago. Their hygienists are very good and thorough. Office is nice and clean. But I would advise to stay away if you need root canals

I went to this dentist a total of three times. Once was for a checkup/cleaning - which went great - it was the most thorough cleaning I ever received at a dentist. And the two other times were for fillings. These two experiences were less than satisfactory. The dentist and the assistant I had were more focused on watching HGTV in the room than on properly fixing my teeth. Like I said, I went here twice for fillings - the first time was expected to be the only time I go here for my fillings - however that was not the case. After going home and realizing my fillings were not put in correctly ( there was still a visible hole in my tooth that was not covered), I went back to get this corrected. Unfortunately, even after going back to get these feelings corrected, there is still a visible hole in my tooth that obviously was overlooked. I feel the dentist and the assistant that saw me should have been more concerned about fixing my teeth properly then dreaming about their dream homes.

I called to make my first appointment today. The person on the phone sounded very put out by the experience. I know help is hard to find...I'm only hoping they had to settle for her and that she's not the permanent face of their business. Sorry for them if she is. I'd rather pay more and stick with my periodontist who is out of "network" than call this office back again.

Dr. Bussiere does outstanding work and so does his staff. Very friendly and gets the job done with no pain. My permanent crown came out perfect and I couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Bussiere has been our family dentist for nearly 10 years - for my wife and I, and our two kids. I rarely write Google reviews in general, but this time out of curiosity I looked up the existing Google reviews, and was frankly very surprised to note some negative reviews, among the mostly positive ones. The positive reviews make sense, but the negative reviews are really out of character for Avon Center Dentistry. Of all the dentists I have seen over the last 30+ years, Dr. Bussiere and his staff clearly stand out as among the best in dental practice: nice dental office, use of latest equipment, well-informed, friendly and accommodating, and front-office staff that is always friendly and flexible. My wife has dental visit anxiety and tends to get cold feet before dental visits. She has frequently called to reschedule at short notice. We always laugh it off. The hygienists we have seen have been considerate and skilled, and great with young children. We have also had other non-routine dental work done by Dr. Bussiere and his team. All visits have been very informed, considered, and positive experiences. One will likely see a dentist more frequently than other doctors, so very important to build a strong relationship with your dentist and their practice.

I had a great experience for my regular cleaning/x-rays/check-up. The office was very clean, the staff was friendly and Chelsea was wonderful for my x-rays, cleaning and check up. My teeth feel great and I'm looking forward to going back in 6 months!

Great experience with Avon Center Dentistry. So glad I switched dentists. Dr. Bussiere is fantastic, as is his hygienist Joe and the entire office staff

Dr. Bussiere has capped many of my teeth which were filled with metal fillings long ago and he also has replaced some of my previous caps. He is extremely good at what he does and works so efficiently with his assistant that every procedure is over and done before you know it. I am a person who hates the drill so it is always a relief when it is over quickly. There was never any pain in my procedures. I am embarrassed I don't know his assistant's name but she is also the best I have ever encountered. The office is very pleasant and all the staff are great. I should mention the technology used is always the latest.

I have been a patient since the Avon office opened. I've had lots of work done. I really like my hygienist Nasley. I've noticed that compared to the early days, the office is now so busy that it takes a really long time to get an appointment. I will add that you will rarely see the doctor for more than 15 minutes. That's why I call him Batman. In reality he relies completely on his staff and spreads himself out over several patients all at the same time. Another thing that bothers me is that he is never there for my Periodic Oral Evaluation but yet I am charged $75 twice a year.
