Food is really good, mainly chicken strips, boneless wings in spicy or soya garlic sauce. Seasoned french fries and onion fries are really unique. Chicken sliders were good as well. But chicken fried rice and chicken bull-dak is super sweet, will not be trying again. The good thing is that their cooking is very consistent and tastes same every time, unlike other places in this city.

Warm atmosphere and friendly environment, amazing KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). The chicken was crisp and crunchy, yet juicy on the inside and topped with savory sauces. The takoyaki and fried dumplings were to die for.

It is a good place to try the fried chicken, the taste is delicious. We ordered both spicy and garlic. Be careful, spicy is real, so I like it. But I would say this is not Korean fried chicken 😛. We also ordered bibimbap (tofu version) and bull dark. The bibimbap is relatively fine, but the bull dark is a bit dry, and the taste is too light.

The staff? Great! The atmosphere? Great! Our meals? Good, but there was a catch. We hadn't gone in around a year, but visited last weekend. Our food was as good as we remembered it except for the chicken strips. While they used to hand batter them, they now use frozen strips and charge the same price. It was a massive letdown because we had also talked up their chicken to a couple we were treating for an anniversary lunch. While the other dishes are good, honestly, we left feeling pretty cheated. The sauce they use is great, but it wasn't enough to make us come back for what we could have gotten in the frozen food isle. :( I hope they change it back. Tldr: They changed the chicken strips from home-cooked to frozen, and it showed in appearance and taste.

The food was so so. The boneless chicken (Korean bbq) was not crunchy. It did not have the flavor I expected. The drums were very crispy and had a decent taste(Garlic soy). The staff were very nice. The restaurant was nice and clean. Perhaps other menu items are good.

First time visiting this past weekend and was really pleased with our experience. We sat at the bar and had some drinks while waiting for our food to go. Had the mango margarita and it was delicious. Enjoyed the ambiance while there. We ordered the pork pot stickers, spicy chicken & rib eye tacos and rib eye sliders. EVERYTHING was so good! I can’t wait to eat those pot stickers again! I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

The pork pot stickers with the soy garlic sauce is a must!! The seasoned fries are delicious 😍 the chicken katsu is very good - the sauce on the chicken makes the dish. Definitely a fav spot to dine in or out.

Great late night snack, went with the Korean tacos, pork buns, spicy fried chicken a few sides everything was great only lost a star because I ended up getting deathly sick from it on my drive back home. But overall was great

My son & I arrived in New Haven a little before 9pm on a Monday night & this place was only a handful of places that was still open at that hour. The spicy chicken was a bit too hot for my liking, but the chicken was crispy. The chicken-katsu was good with a generous serving size, but the texture of rice was not that great (a bit overcooked & was not moist).

Amazing place atmosphere is great and the customer service is awesome. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend you try it because the food is spectacular‼️

Great location! Nice seating areas at the bar indoor or outdoor! But the best of the best is the food! We did the medium half and half korean chicken which is 5 drums 15 wings and both Soy Garlic and Spicy! Yumtastic! Also tried the japchae, bulgogi, pickled radish, and kimchi. Jjang!!!!

Went to this chain once or twice and it was not bad. Got the lunch special combo half and half with a side of pickled radish. It was a good portion size for its price! I'm not great with spicy so the pickled radish really saved me. Server was also really nice and accommodating.

Bonchon’s Korean fried chicken is absolutely delicious! I got the lunch special, which came with four massive chicken drumsticks. I got half and half to try both the soy garlic and spicy flavors. Both were flavorful and delicious. The best part of the chicken had to be the outer shell and crispness. These drumsticks were unbelievably crispy and very large. Each bite came with a massive crunch of amazing chicken. The wings and seasoned fries were also quite good. The service was great, and the wait was not too long. Overall, I highly recommend Bonchon if you want to try some of the crispiest, tastiest Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had!

We stopped in here while visiting New Haven. It wasn’t for a full meal, just for a little snack. It was worth it. Clean with lots of tables and a great staff. There was a TV which was showing a baseball game at the time. There’s street parking available with meters, but you have to be lucky to get a spot depending the time you come. There are a few lots in the area. The food was really good. We ordered the soy garlic wings which were very crispy. It was almost like eating fried chicken with garlic sauce on it. The fries are also very crispy and delicious. We also got the shrimp shumai. I really liked the sauce on top, the shumai was just OK. It might’ve tasted better if it was steamed instead of fried. That’s my mistake. Overall a good value with some tasty menu choices.

Food never ceases to amaze me! The service was good throughout the meal although before being recognized by the waitress my boyfriend and I waited 7 mins just to be acknowledged. The bathroom was completely disgusting. I walked in and this is what I saw upon walking in. Extremely gross. I wish it was better taken care of, but overall the food was amazing and the service could’ve been better.

A party of 3 and our appetizers and entrees came out very fast we were very surprised. The food was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend the Korean tacos and Chicken Katsu. Will definitely come back 👍

Our server Oneida is very attentive even thou it was a busy night. I tried the garlic soy and sweet crispy wings and they were great. Only thing I noticed is the soy wings were a little salt for me after 3 so I recommend mixing the flavors to avoid that but wings were perfectly fried and crunchy to the bone. A must try for sure, the seasoned fries, tacos and shumai were also bursting with flavor. There is a reason this place is busy so check it out
