Amazing sushi and great prices!

Never been disappointed amazing food. I will make the long drive because it is so worth it… best sushi on long island period

Good sushi and sashimi and good service. Small restaurant. Just visited again and had very good service and the food was very good. Also. One of the best miso soups and my avocado salad for $9 was covered on top with avocado. I eat keto so I didn't have rolls but the ones coming out of the kitchen looked awesome. The sashimi salmon is $3.50 a piece but it's a good portion size without being too thick. My husband's eel hand roll had a good size piece of eel in it and he said a spicy tuna roll was very good.

Quiet, intimate spot for good sushi - the steamed gyozas were a highlight. The staff is incredibly friendly - we sat at the sushi bar and chatted with our chef!

Always on point. Fish is absolutely amazing and this family has been serving sushi here, I believe since the late 70’s. In terms of sushi, it’s the best in the Hamptons and if they were in the city, they’d be a top 10 spot. They also have great beer on tap.

If you want the best quality and freshest Sushi... this place is it! No question,hands down the best sushi you can get. They are very busy so make reservations if you can! Or be prepared to wait. Been coming here since 2010. It is a hidden gem. Love the food and the service. Always make a point to come when in the area.

They do such a good job here. It’s a total gem. We live in the city and just picked up some takeout for my dad who says “this is the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. The fish is excellent.” They’re so nice and the menu has everything you need. Prices are also super reasonable.

It is simply amazing, not only the service and attention to the client is instant and great, but everyone working at the restaurant holds a great pride to both their business and culture, and to top it off, the amount of options on the menu, and the taste of the food is amazingly pleasant.

It looks vacant and not open for business but I can assure you it actually is. There is a strict reservation schedule that this restaurant adheres to for social distance and limited indoor dining just so you know. The sushi was good, this place is a little hidden gem. They are big on ordering to pick up, they were very busy with the phones when I was there.

Love everything about Sushi 1! The food is always excellent. I especially like that they usually have fish like Toro, Spanish Mackerel, Uni (sea urchin), etc. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The chefs are friendly and funny. What a gem! Our go-to sushi place if we're heading east.

This is a very average sushi restaurant and there is really nothing too special about this place. We came to this place because of excellent reviews but were disappointed. Poor ambiance and mediocre food.

A rare authentic Japanese restaurant in eastern part of the LI. Must try dishes way beyond sushi,sashimi and rolls. Definitely come back to this hidden gem!

Yoko and family and wonderful, the food is delicious and authentic. We've been coming here for years and have never had a meal that wasn't excellent.
