I
was
enchanted
by
the
service
here.
I
arrived
a
bit
early,
but
Rowan
greeted
me
kindly,
wearing
a
mask,
and
said
she
was
ready
for
me.
First,
she
took
a
few
pictures
of
my
skin,
then
showed
me
things
like,
how
many
pores
I
had,
where
my
wrinkles
were,
where
I
was
oily
vs.
dry,
where
there's
sun
damage,
etc.
I
could
have
done
without
this
part,
but
that's
okay.
Then,
Rowan
asked
what
brought
me
in.
I
explained
I
had
a
little
bit
of
a
breakout
around
my
chin
but
I've
also
been
experiencing
eczema
for
the
first
time
since
childhood.
She
asked
me
about
my
skincare
routine
and
listened
intently
before
explaining
facial
options.
I'd
already
signed
up
for
the
M.
Grace
Signature
Facial,
so
I
kept
on
with
that.
The
space
is
small,
intimate.
And
once
I
lay
down
with
my
towel
around
my
chest,
she
put
a
hair
wrap
(like
the
lunch
ladies
wear)
to
hold
my
hair.
The
service
was
attentive,
typical
structure
of
a
facial:
mask
to
bring
impurities
to
the
surface,
extractions,
deep
moisturizing,
etc.
It
was
90
minutes
but
I
requested
to
end
mine
a
few
minutes
early
because
the
face
mask
toward
the
end
started
to
make
me
feel
claustrophobic.
It
covers
your
entire
face,
like
you're
a
mummy.
That,
and
I'd
been
sedentary
for
too
long
and
felt
an
itch
to
move.
During
the
service,
Rowan
answered
my
questions
about
best
products
to
use
for
exfoliating,
and
my
wonderings
about
what
they
did
in
the
days
before
facials,
how
indigenous
folks
exfoliated,
or
was
everyone
walking
around
with
clogged
pores
and
it
didn't
matter
because
we
didn't
have
cameras
in
our
faces
like
we
do
now.
Silly,
I
know.
Overall
great
service.
Thank
you,
Rowan!
