Amazing amazing AMAZING!! Harrison was such an awesome server. We showed up for dinner, and then realized that you can order food and dinner right in the karaoke room. Just $40 per hour for their smallest room and it was HUGE! Could probably fit 8 people in there. It was beautiful and CLEAN! I also love the venue because it's located underground. You go into the front door and take a staircase down to a basement level which gave it an air of mystery. The entire staff were incredibly patient and friendly. There are minimums for food and drink; but easy to reach with a full group! We had such an incredible time we will definitely be back. Highly recommend going for karaoke with a group and splitting the cost because it was such a fun evening.

This place was beautiful! Easy to miss but worth checking out. The food and drinks were decent, the service was excellent and we had a blast doing Karaoke!! I will definitely re visit this place, and soon!

Terrible service and extremely overpriced for the quality of food. Our waiter started our dinner by offering us two options of water: still and sparkling. Thinking that the sparkling costed money, we ordered the still. When we were charged $10 for a tiny bottle of still water, he then told us that there’s regular water available for free. Not to mention he asked us if we wanted anything on the menu to drink as if the water were free. He also boasted giant portions of food that made the prices seemingly worth it. To quote him “four entrees would have plenty of leftover food with 5 hungry males.” We finished eating after 15 minutes! There was nothing special about the food either. Forgot to mention that the restaurant was completely empty besides us… should’ve taken that as a warning when we entered the door.

We found this restaurant when we were browsing on google maps since the other place that we decided to go close earlier on Monday. It is just 10 min from our AirBnB. It is a gem indeed. The atmosphere is great, the service is excellent and the food is delightful delicious. We ordered 2 appetizers and 1 entree and the serving size is just good for two persons and amazingly we cleared the plate clean. And the sauces, they are to die for. And two bloated ladies walked slowly back to our airBnB with big smile on our face. Definitely highly recommended to dine here.

Parking street parking. The food portion is very small but delicious. Its mostly good if you wanna grab a drink and get something to eat next to it not if you are hungry. Service is good staff are friendly. Vaccination card check is very serious at the door.

Great location, very classy, and sexy. Very adult. Drinks are great, the prices are cool, and good music. Personally, one of it's shortcomings is you can't really mingle. It's definitely a place to go with a group of friends. Going alone can be awkward, the bar is pretty small so you can't really mingle and meet people (until they're trashed and the bar's closing). They even have private karaoke rooms, but again it's a group thing. A

This was my first experience here. My group did karaoke and we had a lot of fun. It's pricey so discuss with your group before you go. The drinks were OK. 20% gratuity is added to the check for 5 or more

This place is a hidden gem! I went during restaurant week a.k.a. #DineLA and had an amazing time. The atmosphere, music, and food was all very pleasing for me. The service admittedly was a bit lacking from our server, although his efforts were supplemented by the gracious hostess who actually took my order and got my server when I wanted to recieve my check. But despite any service errors or neglect, the food was A1! I LOVED the pork ribs ❤, the Lobster Potato, the Atlantic Cod, and the Brussel Sprouts (for which the sauce should really be added to the top of the dish as well as beneath it). The only main disappointment was the mac n cheese really- they should definitely consider baking it and possibly removing those panko type bread crumbs.

Came here for happy hour and dinner love the food, the workers are friendly and attentive. The food was delicious especially the chicken and waffles. My go to drink would be the whiskey Houston, it taste amazing light and fruity but packs a punch. Overall great place.

I decided to go back to The Venue after a 3 year hiatus (due to the pandemic and lack of money). I decided to stay and dine in despite their not checking vaccination in response to my asking because of a posted sign at the entrance that proof of vaccination is required. I guess it is their hope that people will be deterred and that enforcement won't be necessary (clearly). I didn't feel particularly uncomfortable until a trio showed up and one of them was sneezing repeatedly and sniffling and talking loudly and non-stop. I immediately masked up and asked for a box to pack up my food which had just arrived and which was not as advertised. The broccolini was just broccoli and the $12 add-on of grilled salmon was miniscule, dried-out & overcooked. The only saving grace was the beer I enjoyed, but even that was a desperate $12 attempt at recuping lost revenue by gouging by the bottle. I did not fault the bartender or the staff, so I tipped generously. I decided to revisit because I had fond memories of excellent food and drink, and even decent clientele. At least the staff are still above par. I will not be returning and I hope I didn't pay to get COVID.

Great place! Service was amazing, food however sucks! The chicken wasn't cooked all the way. The calamari was extremely rubbery. We ordered the skirt steak, it was horrible! The veggies were ice cold. The food overall was completely inedible.

My special lady friend took me here for a date, & I must say it was a beautiful experience. I remember having the seafood pasta & she had a mushroom pasta. We both loved our meals, & the drinks were well made. I would definitely recommend this place to any couple looking for some intimate vibes. The ambiance was stellar & I liked the music that was played. I look forward to my next visit here again!

Nothing to not like about this place. Nothing spectacular but I wouldn't mind going there again. Food is good. Kareoke rooms are great. Clean and nice. Party of 10 fits good. A bit pricey, but our party has a good time!!

The atmosphere overall was amazing. Great lighting, the karaoke room is large and has two ways to control how you want to karaoke. The guy explained how to use the systems very well. The food here is just ok. It's good enough to get you by for the night. This place is very expensive though. Make sure you ask about pricing!

This restaurant, bar and karaoke place is in a basement location of an office building on WILSHIRE and Normandie. Interior design is quite nice and feels like a lounge. Cocktails are a bit of hit or miss; and the food taste fine but the large plates are not of substantial portions. It is good place for a group outing; best with someone who has an expense account. The cuisine is of high quality. My recommendation is to try the tapas-style dishes that are meant to be shared. Each couple can expect to receive around five servings. The beverages are also superb. Although the service may be unexpectedly sluggish, the food is undoubtedly exceptional. Personally, I found the food to be extremely enjoyable. The ambiance of the establishment is more geared towards a bar setting, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. The noise level is a bit high, but if you happen to be someone who speaks loudly, this might actually be a positive aspect for you!

I spent a friend’s birthday party here, and it was the Chinese New Year’s Eve. Definitely a super fun dinner + dancing club place! Not tray easy to find for the first time. You can park at the garage right next door but you will need to walk over. They offer validation.

This place was amazing, no wait to sit down and eat. The server was amazing. He took care of us with all of our needs. My steak was amazing! Cooked perfectly. Beautiful restaurant that I look forward to visiting quite often.

This place is such a gem. Please go. Went for a birthday party karaoke night. The room was great for a big group and the sound quality was also great. Really enjoyed the food, cleanliness, and decor. They have happy hour too. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Would also recommend the dining room for date night

The aesthetic of The Venue is great: the lighting, decorations, the mood is very well out together. The drink selection from the bar is quite good as well, the servers give good suggestions from personal experience, which is appreciated. The food, for the price, left a lot to be desired. The desserts were the star of the show, with the lava cake and the pudding being the great bookend to an only alright meal.

This is a hidden Gem hands down, very elegant interior, fun Karaoke rooms with lots of options. The food was great and the drinks were also very good. I would recommend for a work gathering, party or even a date.

This place is honestly so cool! Amazing customer service and great food. Very nice bathrooms and karaoke place. But the food needs more seasoning. Harrison is so nice and needs to get a raise!!

It was really nice lunch with my friend. The mushroom pasta was good.

Karaoke was easy to use with a great list of songs. You can also flip between their internal system and YouTube for more songs if you don't find them in there internal list. Good service, lots of fun!

We went there on a Monday night primarily because the restaurants we wanted to go to work closed. The food was surprisingly very good. Service was also excellent. Unbeknown to us when we went to the restroom we noticed that there are about a dozen privare karaoke rooms. Seems like it would be a great place to visit again especially if you like karaoke. The place is slightly hard to find because it has a Wilshire address but address but actually is behind the other buildings in the project facing Wilshire.
