You
never
get
a
second
chance
to
make
a
first
impression.
My
friend
and
I
are
coffee
lovers
and
stumbled
upon
this
shop
today,
after
discovering
that
2
of
our
favorite
neighboring
coffee
shops
are
no
longer
in
business.
First
impression:
framed
photo
celebrating
Che
Guevara
and
Fidel
Castro
displayed
on
the
wall.
We
are
both
Latina
who
like
to
support
local
small
businesses
and
were
immediately
taken
aback
by
this.
We
saw
the
photo,
looked
at
each
other
and
proceeded
to
walk
out.
Personally,
I
was
highly
offended
as
my
family
is
from
Cuba
and
I
know
the
atrocities
of
the
Castro
regime
and
Che
Guevara's
involvement.
I
won't
get
into
a
history
lesson,
but
advise
that
people
do
their
research
and
educate
themselves.
Based
on
the
first
impression,
this
place
won't
get
a
second
chance
from
us,
nor
a
first
for
that
matter.
The
coffee
could
be
the
best
coffee
in
the
world,
but
there
is
no
way
that
we
would
support
a
business
that
promotes
these
ideals.
We
decided
to
take
our
business
elsewhere.
Yep,
preferred
to
give
our
hard
earned
money
to
Starbucks
across
the
street.
If
you
are
a
business
that
chooses
to
be
political,
at
the
very
least
you
should
consider
which
side
of
history
you
are
celebrating.
We're
not
easily
offended,
yet
stepping
into
this
place
was
just
that
--
offensive.
