Castle Creek Inn is a wonderful place to share time with your significant other. My wife and I have stayed here multiple times. Our favorite rooms are the Rapunzel's Tower and Ivanhoe rooms. Ivanhoe stands out due to the beautiful glass shower. The room also has a large jetted tub and the TV is viewable from the bed or leather couch places in front of the fireplace. Rapunzel's Tower doesn't have a shower; however, the room is perfectly laid out. You can watch the TV from the bed or the comfortable chaise lounge placed in front of the fireplace. All rooms have a small refrigerator and the TVs have all the usual streaming services that require your own login. Castle Creek does provide Plex with a large selection of movies. There is also a guest information binder with the Wi-Fi password, rules, and contact information should you need to speak to an employee after hours. You can take breakfast in your room or the dining room. You have the choice of French toast or pancakes with sausage or bacon and eggs. The eggs can be prepared sunny side up or scrambled. There is a third option for the eggs; however, I cannot remember. You can choose from apple or orange juice. During the night, snacks are provided. You can choose from cookies, pop corn, and ice cold bottles of water. Parking is in the rear of the building a long with an entrance. A parking tag with your room must be displayed in your rear view mirror. The key to your room opens the entrance to the Inn. The staff are friendly and approachable. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. You can extend checkout to 1pm for $15 and a 24 hour notice. I'm not going to list room prices as the website is excellent and has room prices per night clearly listed. You can also add romantic add-ons such as cider and electric candles. My wife and I highly recommend a stay at The Castle Creek Inn.

We really enjoyed our stay. For those who have a disabled partner, they have a room that is fully handicap accessible. I did not pay attention to it when I made my reservation, but when they saw my situation, they informed me about it. The romm was great, the ambiance was very romantic, and breakfast was brought to our room. I'm definitely referring to other's, and plan to stay again. The handicap room is called the Garden Suite.

On the second night, we stayed at the palace royale. We noticed several things wrong. The walls and windows are so thin that you can hear every car drive by. There is only one small table on the right side of the bed which made it, so we had to charge our phones on the floor. The bed is very small, and we are average-sized adults. Not only was the bed so hard that it made our backs hurt, but because the bed was so high, we were also worried that every time we got off, we would sprain our ankles. There wasn't even much space to walk. The sofa was also uncomfortable, and the toilet was next to the tub without anything separating the tub from the toilet. When we turned the jets on, there was an awful musky smell. We immediately checked out about two hours after checking in. For the price of the room, we excepted a lot more. We won't be back. Anniversary Inn is so much better. I would also hope for at least a partial refund, but I doubt that will happen.

The employee was nice. We stayed in the Canterbury room. And if you decide to stay, here is a list of items you'll want to bring. First off, the bed is horribly dilapidated...you'll roll to the middle. I anticipated a bad nights sleep and walked to the 7/11 and got Tylenol PM. So bring sleeping pills. Bring your own chairs, there are only 2 teensey, tiny stools. The TV is at a right angle to the bed, so you'll want chairs. No hangers for your shirts...so bring some. BYOP...the pillows are super flat. Bring ear plugs...the A/C is CRAZY loud and whenever anyone leaves through the back door it sounds like a bowling ball being dropped from 20 feet. The eggs were overcooked, so just get McD's or something. Good luck.

I stayed in the Romeo and Juliet sweet it was a little smaller than expected but ample room for 1 to 2 people The jetted tub was amazing the patio overlooked a scenic backyard with a river and beautiful options for enjoying the scenery and an escape from the city. The bed was super comfortable and all the amenities were up-to-date and beautiful. Breakfast was delivered to my room according to my schedule really enjoyed my visit

Cute little and I mean little... The best thing ^was the comfortable bed. It reminded me of a one room studio with a 15in TV 10ft from the bed. No tables. A couch in a little nook and a small beer cooler fridge. The jetted tub was ok. Nice people and atmosphere. Unfortunately not for $200. $80 max.

Let me start by saying this is one of the most enchanting hotels you could possibly stay in here in Utah. I had the most magnificent room that took my breath away, they have free snacks and movies all night for you, an amazing breakfast, and the most splendid tea luncheons. It is definitely a well spent stay!! But also keep in mind that they do not accommodate children! It is more of a romantic getaway.

Room was nice and with a pool table in there made it even more. Didn't enjoy the food items ordered with the room.

We recently returned to Castle Creek Inn for the first time since our honeymoon there in 2019. It seems like they’ve had a bit of a hard time since covid - the grounds, breakfast, and service were not as nice as we remembered them. However, we enjoyed our stay & like having a B&B option that’s slightly cheaper than others nearby. We stayed in the Ivanhoe room, it was nice & spacious. We like that the building is secluded & quiet. We’ve had a hard time regulating temperature in the rooms both times we’ve come.

This is our second time staying here--the first was 9 years ago. On this occasion, some things had changed a bit, so let me contrast good and less good. Good: great breakfast! yummy chocolate chip cookies provided, good Internet, comfy bed, good water pressure, good hot water. Lovely place. Less good: Our room has a "European tub and shower," which means that the shower is a hose and head attached to the tub, which would be fine except that you can't stand up and reach your head if you are taller than 5'4". You can sit or crouch in the tub, but that is less comfortable. Also, the Inn wants to keep the comforters clean (understandable--greasy popcorn hands can ruin the nice comforters), so they ask you to remove them rather than trash them. No problem. But then you are left with the sheet and a thin blanket, and we froze the first night because we couldn't find a thermostat (turns out, it was a remote-operated one that we on;y discovered shortly before checking out), and we didn't want to have the fireplace on all night. We asked for another blanket the second night, which helped, but not a lot. Finally, there is no place to put clothes, coats...nothing. No dresser, no closet, and only one hook on the bathroom door. Still a great place to stay, but the inconveniences would make me want to tour before deciding which room to book. Get a shower. Bring or ask for extra blankets.

My husband booked the Palace Royale room for us for a staycation for my birthday. I have loved this building since it was a private home in the 80’s and looked forward to staying here. For a Bed and Breakfast, they missed the mark on both the BED and the BREAKFAST! Other rooms might better, but as others have said, this room is not what it appears! The bed is hard and lumpy, with a center bump and slopes to the edges, this leaves you feeling like you will roll off this very high bed (which I did once)! The toilet rocks when you sit down and the French doors to the bathroom barely stay closed. We had to leave at midnight due to the condition of the bed and the strain it was already putting on our backs and necks! The only person we met when checking in was not pleasant in the slightest, borderline rude. The wifi is so slow, none of the streaming services they offered could even load, and DVDs available are very outdated.. Overall, Castle Creek was not the friendly Bed and Breakfast feel you would think you would get for over $200 a night!

Very friendly staff and the food was good; the buffet style breakfast and the chicken cordon bleu dinner we ordered. We stayed here before (upstairs) and had a good experience, which is why we returned. Unfortunately our room this time was on the main level close to the front desk. It was difficult to enjoy a nice getaway with hearing every conversation at the front desk. The amount of noise coming from the people upstairs lasted most of the night. We could hear them moving around, hear them talking, hear their tv, and whatever other noises. It was by far the worst night we've ever had staying in a hotel. Choose a room on the top floor to really enjoy this place.

This is a great place. It is romantic and peaceful. My wife and I love getting away here from time to time. We have been coming here for over 10 years and we will keep coming back.

It's a good experience to try out. Ultimately though it didn't hit as high of a note as I had hyped it up to be. The room, Ivanhoe was fine enough but the garden wasn't nearly as beautiful as I had seen it years prior when considering it for a honeymoon spot and the breakfast which I had lauded before going ended up being okay. It's a step up from a continental breakfast and certainly better than Anniversary Inn's breakfast but compared to what I'd seen there before and my slightly unrealistic expectations it didn't hit the mark. We'll check it out again sometime but I'm not rushing to go back there.

Got the king room for Valentine's day. Bummer that they're not doing packages still because of covid but the room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was super comfy. The fireplace was magic and the jetted tub was the kind of peace that a mom with 2 under 2 desperately needed. Lots of restaurants and gas stations in walking distance. Theres a beautiful little walking path and a frozen over pond just outside. Microwave, popcorn, and hot chocolate was available outside in the dining area. The movie selection was better than any other app I've used. I have no complaints at all.

It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. Definitely overpriced, especially for the mediocre breakfast that was served. I’ve had better breakfast at a Holiday Inn. The staff was very kind and our stay was quiet. Would not recommend.

The breakfast was brought to the room was amazing!!!!!! The housekeeping didn't clean the room there was so much trash under the bed. The jetted tub was really loud. But all in all, it was a pretty nice getaway.

Was a well decorated hotel with a good location and a comfortable bed but thats where the good things end. We stay at alot of themed and destination hotels and this one has a lot wrong. Problems are trash in the parking lot, basic under flavored breakfast, the room all work on the same hvac so its either hot or cold you can't adjust to your liking, the door is all keyed to be locked by guest which means on key will unlock any other persons room making security a issue. Getting new towels or trash bags is a major pain. Not worth the very high cost and will be the last time we spend a anniversary here.

I stayed with my wife in the Kings Lodge Saturday night and Sunday night. I love the look and aesthetic of the whole place, definitely a big late medieval early renaissance aesthetic. Pricing was pretty reasonable for this time of room, and it was pretty large too. Only giving 4 stars because of a couple issues, one is several light bulbs were dead/flickering which wasn't really a big deal but the jetted tub didn't seem to work. Also food, I stayed Saturday night/Sunday morning and Sunday night/Monday morning, which means limited food on Sunday and none on Monday. I'm sure if I stayed a different day it would have been better, but all I had on Sunday was a muffin and some chocolate milk. That being said, the 2nd day was half off regular pricing because of this.

I wouldn't call it a 5 star hotel. BUT it was still a really wonderful stay. 😊 Very pretty. I think it could be kept up a bit better. The sink kept dripping and it felt like a modgepodge of decor. But it was also a very beautiful area and the jacuzzi tub was stellar. The breakfast was also on time and yummy. I would still recommend it to my friends. 😊

Great location for a Bed and Breakfast. Ivanhoe and Romeo&Juliet rooms have a balcony that you can eat breakfast on. You can hear the creek in the background. We loved playing pool in the Kings Lodge. All great rooms. We have stayed in pretty much every room now and we have liked all of them.

My husband and I visited Castle Creek Inn on our honeymoon and now come back every year on our anniversary! The rooms are cozy with great ambience. My husband and I always throughly enjoy the homemade breakfast, movies on the Plex and everything else about our visit each year! We’ve stay in almost every single one of the rooms and they are all wonderful.

Are you kidding me? This should be a MINUS 5 stars!!! Unbelievable how this creepy, old, antiquated, great great grandma's style house is still in business! There are not enough words!!!!!

  • 1/5 Crystal W. 1 year ago on Google
Highly disappointed. We had booked a 2 night stay and ended up leaving a day early because it was just not worth it to stay another night there. It is not a very welcoming atmosphere. It feels more like a museum than a bed and breakfast. There are lots of signs around saying "for decoration only" (on the piano, on the organ, and even on a pillow on the bed referring to the comfortor/bedspread). The Garden Suite was small with no comfortable place to sit. There were no chairs at the small wobbly table, only two short three legged stools with no back support. Only one night stand, so no convient place to set a drink or cell phone next to the bed. Only one thin blanket and no in room temperature controls. There is no closet or place to put a suitcase. It is not at all well maintained inside or outside. The room had chipped paint, and the chandalier had two light bulbs that were burnt out. Even with the limited breakfast menu options (french toast or pancakes) they did not get my order right. Both my husband and I had written down french toast and they served me pancakes. The eggs were over cooked and the portions were small. I would not recommend staying here. There are much better places that are more affordable and comfortable.

This was a truly magical experience for my wife and I. The rooms, the ambience, and the hospitality of the hosts made this a perfect one night get away for my wife and I. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room, and the huge jet tub is amazing! We loved the gorgeous garden in the back, with a little creek, and a large, beautiful deck to enjoy the sounds of the creek. We couldn't believe we were still in the city, the Castle Creek inn really transported us to a romantic paradise.

  • 4/5 Adam B. 4 years ago on Google
Cozy and romantic, however our room had no info on the wifi, no folder with info on checkout times or other general information. Couldn't find the thermostat either. We did have a wonderful time and enjoyed the snacks and breakfast. Cleanliness could be improved a little.

Love visiting this place. Super friendly staff and a new pario deck area out back. The only thing i would like to see is some fans on their fireplaces to spread heat. Rooms are always chilly even in summer. Maybe some larger tvs would be nice as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and romantic. Very awesome building. Take a free tour, you will be glad you did. The banana split is the best thing to order as well at night.

Such a cool place, went to a wedding, you can rent out the whole place and then your wedding party can sleep there, and the rooms are amazing. Jetted tubs in every room. They even feed everyone breakfast in the morning.

Wonderful experience. Stayed in the Romeo & Juliet room. We'd really like to come back when we can enjoy sitting out on the balcony (because it was snowing during our visit). The staff were incredibly helpful, the movie selections were awesome, and that jetted tub! Wonderful!

It was a fun place to stay. We were there for our 10 year anniversary and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to get away with their significant other. Because of covid19 they didn't have breakfast which would have been nice to know before hand so we could plan accordingly. The only other negative was that their fridge in the room froze our left overs from dinner and ruined them.

  • 5/5 Kat Ivy M. 3 years ago on Google
Absolutely amazing! I needed some "me" time so I stayed in the tower and braided my hair, soaked in the jacuzzi, and stayed up late watching my favorite movie and eating chocolate dipped strawberries. Rapunzel never had it this good! Seriously, the room was immaculate, staff was friendly and helpful, gardens were beautiful, and I had the best night's sleep I have had in years!

Fun place to stay. My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon five years ago for 3 days. For our anniversary this year, we stayed one night. We were in Ivanhoe both times. Breakfast was fantastic! And they now have a huge selection of movies. Due to the weather the weekend we stayed, there ended up being a leak in the room before we got there. They told us about it during check in and that it had been taken care of, and apologized for it. But about 2 hours after staying there, the ceiling started dripping again onto the heat vent. We talked with the front desk person about it again and they again apologized for it and said they would let the inn keeper know. The next day when we were checking out, I was surprised that they did not offer any kind of compensation for it. Not that we were looking for a free stay, but for $200+ per night, I would have expected something. Even just a free souvenir coffee mug. I am sure we will still be back, but just be aware that the building is due for some updating.

We had always wanted to come here and were finally able to. My wife and I stayed in the Palace Royal. The themed room was cute and the bathroom was large with a wonderful jetted tub! We also purchased the additional packages which we loved! The staff that we met were friendly and the complimentary breakfast was simple but tasty. The only things we did not like was how noisy it was because the room is at the front of the building and how much light came in. The improvement we would give is to have blackout curtains. I feel like that is a must!

Our second stay here in a different room, we love the themes and the tubs, we got the bath package and enjoyed the bubble bath, salts, and other fun things. Breakfast is buffet style on the weekends and very good, though it didn't start until 8:30. We would have liked it a little earlier so we could get on with it day. We will be back.

We went into this with high expectations but I think we were a little disappointed. We didn't have a negative experience per say but it just wasn't what we expected and mostly likely we wouldn't go back. Here is our detailed experience: 1) We got a good deal for the Kings Lodge ($99). The room had a dirty feel to it. Even to the point that my wife didn't feel comfortable using the shower. The pool table in the room was very stained and dirty as well as the ceilings. The ceiling by the pool table had blue chalk marks all over. Seeing these things gave us a perception that everything else wasn't clean or taken care of. 2) The "snack bar" was disappointing. The cookies were the size of a silver dollar and was just as hard as one. We had a bite of one and never ate another cookie for the rest of our stay. The trail mix was from Costco that was placed in a large bowl. There were also soda cans and bottled water in a min fridge. The bottled water was a very cheap brand, I think it was the food club brand. It just had a feeling of a cheap experience. We would have been better off bringing our own treats and drinks and not setting any expectations of a "snack bar". 3) I was honestly excited for the breakfast and thought, they can't mess this one up based on the reviews. The breakfast consisted of 3 warming trays with food in them. One with bacon, the other hashbrowns and lastly french toast. The hashbrowns tasted like they were from frozen freezer section at the grocery store. The French toast was decent but very cheap condiments. Overall, a very cheap feeling in terms of presentation. Like I said, we wouldn't go again but i wouldn't say it was a negative experience. We just expect more and a cleaner/better feel.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon 23 years ago. I decided to see if the Castle Creek Inn was still around and was pleasantly surprised to find it was still here. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room back then and I decided to book the same room. The Hotel is still very much how we remembered it. Bed is nice, jetted tub was great for relaxing the back and plenty to watch on TV. The hotel isn't high tech, physical keys are still used, but I felt that was some of the charm. Internet was free but we had to ask the front desk for the login details. Room was showing a little age but not to the point where you felt it was run down. Great place for a fun and different experience.

We herd about Castle Creek from some friends who have been there a couple times. My wife and I have been here twice. Some of the rooms are kinda small but still big enough for two people and a couple nights stay. They have a good selection of movies as well as Roku tv. The tv's could be bigger as well as the bathtubs. The breakfast is really good! And everything is clean, peaceful, and comfortable!

We decided to spend our wedding anniversary here and all tho the room was nice it was very cold and we had to go home and get some extra blankets so we can stay warm. The shower is dangerous it is very slippery. They do have slip pads however they are only about 1 inch wide and very hard to see where they are. The overall experience was very disappointing. We checked in on Saturday and checked out on Tuesday. The staff we saw were nice however the staffing hours were limited. They are only there between 4 to 11 and no guest staffing on Sunday. No maid service. We had to use the same towels for the entire time we were there. There was supposed to be someone on Monday at 4 pm. We tried several time to get clean towels and ice but nobody was there. By 7:45 PM we just gave up. We ended up checking out Tuesday morning before 8 AM to go home and shower with clean towels. For the money you spend to stay there you would expect a little better service. We wont stay there again.
