Smith Creek Trail System

ππ Well kept mountain bike trails that you can tell have been put together by some serious riders that have proper know how. Holy Pail is a great ride up that is fairly easy with a little diversity. Some of my favorite downhill tracks are Feel the Love, FOMO, and Santas Revenge.

ππ Took wedding photos here. There is a massive tree that makes for perfect ambiance. We go every summer. The shadows of the trees make for amazing lighting for photos. ππ A wonderful park with plenty of lake access, dog beaches, swimming area and a scenic trail. A lot of prickly pear cactus keep your dogs on the trail or in the lake.

ππ This is our families favorite place to go when the Okanagan starts to get hot. I went there today because my late oldest son just loved being there in the summer to swim and jump off of the docks and skip rocks.

ππ This is a great hike around Mount Boucherie. There is a well worn path that is a simple hike. The hike to the top is of moderate difficulty. The paths are easy to find but are not marked with their difficulty. The views are amazing.

Goats Peak Regional Park

ππ *Stunning!
*Steep drop offs (not ideal for young kids)
*Bring lots of water
*Plan ahead
*First part more open, level and populated, walking shoes are adequate
*Second part steeper and more isolated, need hiking boots
*Most of the hike is in full sun so wear your sunscreen and/or hat.
