I
was
really
looking
forward
to
visiting
this
café,
highly
advertised
as
being
Greek
and
was
very
disappointed.
I
had
hoped
that
they
might
serve
proper
Greek
coffee,
όπως
κάνουμε
με
μπρίκι,
but
alas,
Hellas,
no.
I
decided,
as
it
was
a
beautiful
morning,
to
sit
outside.
It's
a
rather
strange
sensation
as
everything
is
on
a
slope,
and
the
tables
face
up
hill.
A
bit
weird
really,
but
that's
the
geography
of
Oxton.
The
place
was
busy-ish,
and
as
I
was
waiting
at
a
table
outside
for
a
friend,
I
could
hear
a
member
of
staff
practically
yelling
at
the
customers
to
form
an
orderly
line!
It's
not
huge
inside,
so
I'm
not
sure
how
she
wanted
this
done.
I
almost
left
at
that
point.
As
a
paying
customer,
I
don't
expect
to
be
admonished
in
such
a
manner
as
this,
I
felt
it
was
just
rude,
no
matter
how
busy
they
were.
As
my
friend
was
running
considerably
late,
I
ventured
in
to
order
a
Greek
coffee,
which
as
previously
mentioned,
they
didn't
have.
I
was,
however,
assured
by
the
server,
that
she
was
a
highly
qualified
professional
barista
(although
I
didn't
ask
for
her
qualifications)
and
the
coffee
was
from
Greece.
Pointing
out
that
this
wasn't
exactly
the
same
thing,
(to
a
"professional
barista",
this
was
almost
a
facepalm
moment),
I
reluctantly
ordered
an
Americano.
It
arrived
in
a
cup
that
was
awkward
to
drink
out
of.
The
cup
looks
interesting
design
wise,
but
difficult
to
pick
up
and
grip
when
full
of
hot
liquid.
The
coffee
itself
was
also
disappointing.
I
was
glad
that
I
had
a
glass
of
water,
at
least
that
was
potable!
I
soon
decided
that
this
place
wasn't
as
great
as
I
expected
or
hoped,
so
I
called
my
friend,
suggested
she
meet
me
elsewhere
at
a
venue
if
her
choice,
and
left
the
undrinkable
coffee.
I
didn't
eat
anything,
although
there
seemed
to
be
a
decent
variety
of
Greek
pastries
and
pittas.
The
treatment
of
the
customers
kind
of
took
my
appetite
away.
Can't
really
recommend
and
I
think
we
probably
won't
go
again.
