Really enjoyed the two slices I had on my visit. This is a really great place for a quick and inexpensive bite to eat! I had the fennel damage pizza and also the one with chorizo on. Both were lovely. There was plenty of space to eat and plenty of people coming and going. Great locatij, handy for stopping by before the theatre or a gig and great for shopping. Thanks!

I dont think there's any other place that does proper chicago pizza hence the 5 stars! Lovely staff, nice seating areas, the chigago pizza is massive!! The 18 inch halloumi and Sundried tomatoes pizza was full of flavour even though there's only two ingredients. It's ashame there isn't any halaal chicken or toppings, but the vegetarian options are still decent. I came all the way from Birmingham for this so it says something! Definitely recommend to try

Really good pizzas for a fair price. Option to order a whole pizza or by the slice, with a choice of New York, Detroit and Chicago. Picked at the counter and then cooked to order. I had the American hot and the Chicago deep dish with Sausage, both were great, especially the deep dish. My friend ordered 8 different slices, thinking they would be from the counter but was made fresh to order. Would recommend stopping by if you're in the mood for pizza.

Eaten from America Pizza slice a few times and it's always great. I usually get the regular pizza slices but last time I got a slice of Detroit and a slice of Chicago. The Detroit, just like the regular slices is fantastic, it has a super deep base but it works so well. The Chicago was really sauce heavy and I had to use cutlery to eat it. If you're someone who loves extra sauce then this will be perfect for you, but for me the Detroit and Regular are the winners.

Situated on Bold Street, amongst frankly quite a few overpriced and slightly pretentious restaurants, American Pizza Slice is an absolute GEM! Staff were so lovely and friendly, the pizza is served by the slice and the meal deals will have you saying "WHAT cost of living crisis?" For the amazing price of £5.75 (or £5.80 with cheesy garlic bread) you can enjoy a slice of pizza, a mini garlic bread loaf and a drink served in a good old fashioned glass bottle! The pizza slices are HUGE and so, so tasty. My Dad and I both ordered the goats cheese and roasted mixed peppers. The pizza base is so light but nice and doughy, the sauce to topping ratio is perfect and the pizza crust is so thick and chewy!! Don't sleep on this one, it's perfect for a filling, pocket friendly lunch in Liverpool!

Amazing takeaway and delivery experience. This pizza was heavenly. Literally melts in your mouth good. So glad I ended up ordering from here, the magherita did not disappoint at all (I’m also really pleased that you can get a combination of a whole different combination of different slices and toppings in one box).

Amazing pizza, hot and a great size for the price! Good choices of beverages and the restaurant itself is really cool (see picture of ceiling). Staff friendly and they also offer gluten free options!

If you're a fan of classic pizza flavours, this probably isn't the place for you as they have a lot of non-traditional toppings and bases. However, the margherita pizza is a delight and definitely worth a try if you enjoy an authentic flavour done well. Great value if buying by the slice.

The concept, is like a cross between a fast food pizza joint and a pizza restaurant. But the pizza quality is pretty good along with the ingredients. It's a fair price for the deals.

The food here is really good. Really nice pizza and a few deals like 2 slices & a beer for £6 which is great. Most of the staff are lovely, except one lady in particular, I think Lauren? The lady who is usually on the till at the bold street branch. Genuinely like she's never worked with people before. Very dismissive and seems super unhappy talking to customers. Nice place but the last couple of times I've genuinely been annoyed to the point of not going back when I see she's at the till 😓

The option of having a slice is always beneficial so that you can try different pizzas. Slices of Pizzas available here were quite tasty, with the feeling of softness and the crunchiness comi g at the same time. Price per person was very reasonable, and it's a good place to go if you want to have a quick snack.

A staple for me. They do 3 styles of pizza... New York, Chicago and Detroit. They do a good range of toppings, some meal deals and you can order a pizza made up of lots of different slices of the 18" New York style pizza. Good vegetarian options too.

Excellent Pizza, one of the nicest we’ve ever had. Good value too as got 3 large slices for around £7.85. I assume buying a whole pizza would provide even more value. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Liverpool.

Tried 3 New York slices and a Detroit. It was so good to actually have an true American style pizza slice as opposed to the multiple Neapolitan ones on the high street! Pleasantly surprised by the Detroit style having never tried it before and the NY style I'd definitely have again if I went back to Liverpool. It's worth noting that the Bold St location has seating, whereas the other is take away only.

Went for the Buffalo chicken and American hot. Both tasted great and perfect texture to the base. Chrust was fantastic. Good value too
