So I ordered my food on the phone and they said between 20-40 min. So I came in at 45 min and it still was not ready. I had to wait an hr for it. When I got the salmon dish, the salmon was barely the size of my palm! I will never order again. Not only is it poor customer service but not worth the price.

It's our first time trying African food. Wow it's truly amazingly delicious. I specifically love the spicy goat dish. Or a small portion but at a super balanced taste. We also tried pepper with snail, grilled fish and the beef appetizer. All dishes are nice specifically with the yellow sauce. Service is great as well. Will definitely come back again

The goat stew is truly exceptional, and I had my first taste of escargot, which I found quite enjoyable. Even my friend tried the fisherman's soup and had a great experience. We had a reunion with my high school mates at Pleroma Cuisine. Pleroma Cuisine is the place you want to be if you live in MD or you are here visiting. Great atmosphere, very tasty food, extremely clean, and a great spot. Being a really good cook myself, my standard for good food is very high, but Pleroma greatly exceeded my expectations. I’m really impressed at the quality of service. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

A bit pricey food takes a long to be ready but that’s a good thing lol! But their food is delicious ! I do feel their customer service needs to improve though ! Nobody is ever there when I walk into the front desk kinda odd and gives a bad look! Africans do better !! Other then that their food is delicious !!! A bit expensive they’re large and small is a rip off they are similar portion!! Smh so even if u get small you will still have plenty left like the large I kid u not ! The portion size are kinda similar !

Amazing food! First time experiencing this cuisine, just wanted to try something different and now I'm hooked! I will definitely be back.....So I'm back with an even better review. I said and I would be back and I meant it. Food is exquisite as usual!! This time I'm bragging about the customer service! I wont go into detail about what happened because it was no ones fault. Even though there was a mishap, it was handled beautifully with the biggest smile on her face. I am HUGE on customer service and I'm seriously impressed. I cant think of enough good things to say about this place!!!

This is my first time ever trying African food and let me tell you we were not disappointed. My mom and I are always up to try something new! Fefi who is one of the owners and the chef his wife was super helpful in showing us the menu and the different foods that were available. We ordered the Oxtail stew and the seafood Okro The food was exquisite! The chef was super sweet and super nice came out and greeted us and invited us to their Mother’s Day event to which we will definitely attend! Thank you for everything guys we loved your food and will definitely be returning!

We weren’t sure what to expect with this place, but I’m so glad we went! It was the best African food we’ve ever had. The waitress and bartender were very attentive, and the chef even came out to explain some things on the menu. It definitely feels fancy and has West African music playing for an upbeat vibe. If we ever visit the DC area again, we’ll be sure to come back!

This is one of the best with a different taste that I’ve had in a longtime ,I tried cassava leaf and Jollof with goat stew and it was fantasmaglorious 😂❤️❤️

This is the best place to get authentic African food. Chef Bianka is very passionate and extremely professional. I don’t like eating fish out of my house, but when I got fish from Pleroma, I have never looked back. Don’t sleep on this place.

Happened to come across this restaurant when in Laurel and it was my first time trying African food. The interior is nicely decorated and Bianka was incredibly welcoming and kind! She recommended the African D’jino drink and I got the fish stew along with Jollof rice and fufu. Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious with good portion sizes and presentation. I’ll be back. Must visit!
