Outstanding physical therapy was given to me here. The importance of a regular exercise program at home was stressed with follow up instructions given. My pain is now gone with my sincere appreciation.

The positive reviews for Chesapeake are on point! I opted to try CBAPT based on the glowing reviews, despite needing to travel almost 30 minutes, passing countless other PT practices on the way. I have been receiving treatment here for about a month now, and my experience has been nothing short of phenomenal! Dr. Carmelo, DPT, is not only fun to work with, but is also very thorough, knowledgeable and attentive. From my initial appointment, he has intently listened and considered all the facets of my complex condition. I very much appreciate his facilitation & welcoming open communication between patient and provider—answering all of my questions and requests. It is clear to me that Carmelo tailors my sessions and home exercises to my needs with flexibility. Not to mention, his hands may be magic as he is able to relieve some of my chronic pain immediately. I wasn’t sure what to expect with aquatic PT, but have found the sessions to be very helpful & enjoyable--allowing me personally to tolerate higher intensity exercises without increased pain all the while feeling much more relaxed. In addition, the office staff and PT assistants are all so pleasant, friendly and helpful. I have found the office gym to be organized and exceptionally clean. My experience has been such a positive contrast to months working with a previous therapy center where they were not very hands on, not nearly as flexible with appointments or considerate of my needs and I rarely saw the PT, rather, worked with the assistant 99% of the time. I am so very thankful I chose Chesapeake and for the progress they have helped me achieve. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a positive experience that will get you to the healing results you need.

This was the most unprofessional experience ever. You fill out paperwork multiple times and then the doctor doesn’t bother to read it. Then asks you to talk to another patient to convince you to let them do a procedure they can’t even explain. Even tried to talk to the clinic manager about my experience. They couldn’t bother to call when they promised. So disappointed.

I came to Chesapeake Bay Aquatic & Physical Therapy after a workplace incident almost tore my hamstring and some of the surrounding muscles. When I first came in I was fresh off of using crutches and could barely walk more than a few blocks before feeling pain in my leg. The office is welcoming and cozy, allowing for a comfortable personal experience. After two weeks I saw great improvement in my strength and flexibility. At the end of one month of therapy, two sessions a week, I could run for 10min and had about 85% of my strength back in my leg. They also gave me a stretching regimen to help get my leg back to it's full ability even after my therapy sessions were complete. I would definitely recommend them for your therapy needs!

Chesapeake Bay Aquatic & Physical Therapy in Laurel far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Meghan provides personalized therapy, not the one size fits all PT, that I have received in the past. The office clean and the staff are professional and knowledgeable. This location will work with you so you progress and reach your therapy goals!!! Best PT in Laurel, MD.

I have nothing but good things to say about Chesapeake. The staff was friendly and understood my physical therapy needs. They created a program that I can do at home and also provided education. I also learned about dry needling which helped me with an issue I was dealing with for several years. Definitely recommend them.

    I. Can't say enough about the therapists at this location! 2018 had back surgery, had to learn to walk all over again. I was in therapy 2 months before surgery and 8 months after. They started me in the pool and slowly graduated me to land. 2020 I had total knee replacement. Again, they worked their magic. This year I injured my replacement knee and again CBAY put me back together. I highly recommend this facility ❤️

My daughter started coming here for physical therapy due to left sided weakness and I was intrigued by the thought of aquatic physical therapy but from the consultation my daughter has been happy to come back each week. Dr. Carmelo or “Dr. Marshmallow” as affectionately calls is nothing short of amazing with my 3 year old! He is so patient and kind and I just enjoy watching there sessions!

My time at Chesapeake PT in laurel has been great and helped me through the worst of my pain. My therapist, Joyce Riveral, was always kind and listened to my many questions patiently, I couldn't have asked for a better place to recover from my most recent set back with my knees.

I could hardly move my arm due to severe pain and I was also sleep deprived when I came to your center. Joyce and other staff member took time to work with me so that I could get better. Yes, I complained. Joyce listened and kept encouraging me that my condition would improve. I thank you for your patience and for working with me. My condition has improved about 75%. Chesapeake Bay PT is the best physical therapists team anyone could have. I’m so grateful for all the staff there. Monisola
