I throughly enjoyed my day at a Corzo & Wood workshop yesterday. I was sent plenty of information beforehand to prepare for the course and Violeta was an excellent tutor. I made some beautiful bangles and really enjoyed learning the techniques behind making silver jewellery. The workshop was of a high standard with plenty of tools to go round. I will definitely be booking another workshop up.

I was given a Corzo & Wood voucher for a silver jewellery making session. The day started at 10 am when I was introduced to Violeta, the very talented and welcoming course tutor. I was joined by one other lovely lady as we both followed detailed instruction on how to make our own spinning ring in silver. I also chose to add brass and copper into my design. I was amazed and very happy to learn that all the silver we used comes from recycled sources and all waste from the making processes are also recycled making this a very eco company. 👍 On the day I took a packed lunch but there is opportunity to purchase a hot or cold lunch from the Mursley Farm Shop where the studio is based. By 5pm I was very happy to leave with my perfectly fitted spinning ring on my finger. Violeta is very passionate about each student leaving with a high quality item. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to learn about the techniques involved in making silver jewellery. There are half day and full day courses to choose from, and the studio also sell a range of gift items and of course beautiful jewellery all handmade to perfection. Thank you so much for a very happy day, I will treasure my ring and wear it with great pride. ❤️

An awesome experience at Corzo and Wood on a spinning ring workshop. Violetta was patient and has loads of silversmithing experience which made the day so much fun and easy to follow her instructions. Violetta and Sarah have set up the business with people in mind. The workshop day was well organised, great communication to arrange the date and throughout. I would highly recommend the workshop and Corzo and Wood.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day with Violeta. I chose to make a start on a long, multi-link chain as a commemoration piece. It is very much still a work in progress, but Violeta's clear instruction & demonstration of the processes needed to complete it, mean I will be able to continue & bring it to fruition. Silver wrap ring workshop took me by surprise! My friend gifted me a voucher and I went along more for the companionship and didn’t really think about the jewellery. Violetta was very clear from the beginning that I could create a ring. She was also confident that it would be beautiful- I didn’t believe her until I had completely finished; stood back and looked at my ring with genuine amazement at my creation! The workshop was a wonderful opportunity to take time out of my daily life and immerse myself in something creative. My ring is a symbol of friendship.

I was lucky enough to attend a 1 day silver bangle making workshop today. Violeta taught us, she was superb, very experienced and there to help us out at any stage if we needed it. The workshop was small so we all got the required attention we needed 😉. A great day learning a new skill in a relaxing and fun environment, will definitely book a further workshop. Both Sarah and V are amazing, very friendly and ready to help. Their jewellery is great quality and beautiful. I've done 2 of their workshops now and have enjoyed each one. They take you through step by step supporting you as you go, making the whole process thoroughly enjoyable even for someone like me who has very little skills, can't recommend them enough.

The earring making day was great fun, we learned so many techniques and felt like real jewellery makers by the end of it. Violetta, one of the owners, was good fun and extremely patient. I went with two friends - we all produced totally different earrings but they all looked fabulous. Strongly recommend this company and day out.

Fantastic workshop to design and make a quality piece of jewellery. Guided by Violeta's kind and helpful expertise, it surpassed all my expectations. Worth making some design plans ahead of the workshop to get the most out of the 'making' time.

We had a fabulous whole day making earrings with Violeta one very wet January day! 3 of us,all novices, were able to design and make our own unique earrings from scratch. We learnt loads of techniques giving us ideas for more designs and a definite return trip! Violeta was very knowledgable friendly and helpful giving us guidance but encouraging us to all do it ourselves - I would thoroughly recommend trying jewellery making with Corzo and wood. (And the shop is very enticing too!)

Fabulous place. Have been twice recently the first time to a spinning ring workshop and then yesterday to a Christmas Decoration workshop. Both days were absolutely lovely and I was so pleased with what I made. Violeta is so knowledgeable and goes out of her way to make you feel at ease and to help you make the best finished article. Really recommend for a different day out.

We were a group of ladies for a 50th Birthday. Violeta did a fantastic pendant or earrings workshop. We all had great fun whilst learning to make our pieces of jewellery. I love my pendant and would highly recommend these workshops. Fab day. Thank you!!

I attended a whole day work shop yesterday with a friend to make a silver bangle. We had a fantastic day. Violetta was such a lovely and patient tutor, who took us through each stage of the process, explaining what we needed to do, and guiding us as needed. We learnt so much about what is required to hand make jewellery. It was a really relaxing, and rewarding day. We had lots of time to discuss what designs we would like to make at the start of the day. Welooked at pieces Violetta had made as examples, .and she was very supportive of the designs we chose to make. The studio is bright and airy and equipped with everything you would need to make any jewellery. To start with a strip of silver and to take home a beautiful bangle was just brilliant! And I actually can’t stop looking at it, and realising I made it in a day ! We would definitely recommend this course, and the satisfaction of making whatever piece of jewellery you decide upon. We would love to try another course now to make a ring, pendant, or earrings . I found out about the courses from visiting the beautiful Corzo and Wood shop at Claydon Courtyard. (National Trust site) and would also really recommend a visit here. Violetta and Sarah stock beautiful gifts of all types ( you will always find a present for someone here!) and of course their gorgeous handmade jewellery Thank you again Violetta for a great day. I had a amazing time at the half-day jewellery making workshop. Violeta is a fantastic teacher, patient and enthusiastic. It was wonderful to escape the daily grind and do something creative and come away with a beautiful piece of jewellery at the end. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I have done three of the Corzo and wood jewellery workshops now and will definitely be doing more. Violeta is an amazing tutor, kind and patient and the experience is just wonderful, a chance to escape from the stresses of life and learn new skills making gorgeous things to your own tastes and preferences. I’d recommend them to everyone and if you haven’t got time to take part in a workshop, go and support this small business by buying gifts including handmade jewellery in their lovely shop in Mursley. A golden few hours that are worth every penny and much more.

I attended a One to One workshop to make an engagement ring for my fiancée. Violeta was very good at explaining the processes and helping me along the way. Violeta made the experience very enjoyable and fun. I would recommend anyone who likes arts & crafts to try out her workshop out.

I did the bangle workshop and it was a really great experience. Given that I don’t think I have any artistic ability I was truly amazed at the bangle I managed to produce. Violeta is a patient and kind tutor, giving me very clear instructions throughout the day, but really allowing me to do (almost) every step of the process by myself, which resulted in a real sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. The workshop is really well equipped and a very friendly inclusive atmosphere. Thank you!

It's such a unique and exciting experience to make your own jewelry under the guidance of the professionals who share their wealth of knowledge and experience as they help you to create your vision. Violetta and Sarah were so welcoming, patient and bubbly it was a wonderful day and I'm so pleased with how well our designs came out 😁

I had the immense pleasure of a one-day course using precious metal clay with Violetta and a small group of similar-minded ladies, and it was quite simply the best day ever. Violetta explains the techniques and tools to use and demonstrates what to do so that participants can let their creativity run wild. Had the best day at Corzo & Wood doing the stacking rings workshop. Violeta is a fabulous teacher! It's easy to get to with plenty of parking and you have to have look at the lovely bits in the Corzo & Wood shop too. The workshop was absolutely amazing,informative, so creative, hugely inspiring and extremely enjoyable, you get totally absorbed into the jewellery making. You make a memories to cherish and some incredible jewellery to treasure forever! I am never taking my stacking rings off! I thoroughly recommend the workshop it truly was an experience I will never forget. I can't wait to do my next one!

What a joy this little shop is. It's nestled in the courtyard of Claydon House and is full of beautiful tasteful gifts and silver jewelry. I bought my first two Christmas presents two gorgeous bags🌲. Sarah was very welcoming and full of ideas.

I spent yesterday with my mum doing a bangle making course with Violeta. I am absolutely delighted with the bangle that I made, the charms are exactly how I envisaged them. It was a lovely day and Violeta is an excellent teacher. Highly recommended.

An excellent workshop session making pendant necklaces with 3 generations of my family (my teenage daughters and my mum). Voileta was so creative and patient and we all came away with unique and different necklaces that we were so proud of. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

I booked a wrapped ring workshop for my 60th birthday with a couple of friends not knowing what to expect. When we arrived, Violetta was very welcoming and showed us around the workshop. She was very good at explaining each stage of the process to us and was very patient too. The rings we made looked great and we were proud of our achievements, with all of us choosing to buy the ring we had made. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and we are looking forward to booking another class in the new year. Thank you Violetta for a lovely experience.

Spent an entire day here with two friends and the time just flew by. Violeta was a great host and excellent teacher. From a single plain piece of silver she took us through every step, calmly, gradually and explained each step helping us each to create a beautiful piece of jewellery. She stepped in to help when needed and left us to our own devices when not. We each had our own work bench with tools and were welcome to make ourselves our own cuppa accompanied by biscuits laid out for us. We each got to design our own piece and I can honestly say I am really proud of what I created. I think it was well worth the money. Would I go back? Of Corzo I Wood!
