This was a fabulous station to both arrive and depart at, having well-sized platforms for the trains. The stylization is very nice and there are many platforms, though finding your way around is easy due to the signs. A beautiful glass roof is enforced heavily and there are departure boards to make sure nobody misses any train, also the station had cleanliness maintained when I visited!

Traveled on 10th August with 2 wheel chair users and 2 adults. The service we received at the station from John and his team, was excellent, they were very helpful, polite and went out of their way to help us - (with ramps on/off the trains, directions and even taking us to the tram stop all the way through the station and lifts) 5 star service 😊 Thank you

Large but efficient station. There’s a cafe on most platforms but unfortunately not open late into the evening, but plenty of displays indicating platform allocations, and easy bridge to navigate, in a good location in the city with plenty of facilities nearby. Plenty of staff around if you need any help and everywhere is clean. Decent station.

We love Nottingam. The city centre is quite compact and its easy to wander around from store to store. Head to market square, to enjoy the festive markets, activities, ice bar, ice skating, the big wheel and many independent stall holders. Then make your way yo the Victoria centre, to enjoy indoor shopping. Lots of alleyways, to explore with independent retail outlets. Plenty of pubs, bars and cafes to relax, rest and unwind.

Pathetic staff at the train station platforms. They're racist, rude and helpful only when they want to. Be here on time if you don't want to be stranded. Because if you have a complain they'll hear you only for 2 minutes. The staff is clearly horribly trained for soft skills and manners. Or not trained at all.

Sorry to say but as a disabled person I was left to find alternative transport on my own when the trains were cancelled at 9pm in the dark. I understand cancellations etc but it's how it's dealt with that really matters, in this case it was to not help any passengers even ones who were struggling and asking for help. Pretty poor, total opposite to my previous experiences.

Pleasant walking around the centre, especially Hockley. Lots of small independent businesses. Places to visit -- coffee -- - Coco Tang - Effy - Kigali - Økende - The Specialty Coffee Shop -- to eat -- - Coco Tang - Paste - The Ugly Bread Bakery -- chocolate -- - Luisa's bean-to-bar craft chocolate - craft beer - Neon Raptor Avoid like the plague Nottingham Christmas Market, tat and junk food. The only quality stall (2023) Lincolnshire Poacher cheese. Rental e-scooters and e-cycles dumped anywhere and everywhere in the streets are a nuisance. The serfs working for apps riding through pedestrianised streets are a major hazard, an accident waiting to happen.

Staff are amazing and always helpful. East Midlands Trains first class lounge is small and very basic but has air conditioning so always nice and cool in the hot weather Staff in the lounge are always friendly and helpful just a shame the whole first class product from EMT has gone down hill a lot!

Nottingham makes sure it keeps its old buildings and charm. However, it's rough in some places, hence the image below. The council needs strict restrictions and rules of littering. Raise awareness of littering

From here there's EMR and CrossCountry services as well as other services. Trams from here go to Toton park, The centre, Phoenix park, South Clifton, and Hucknall.

My train came at 2:30am on Tuesday so my dad came to the platform to collect me to be on the safe side at that time of night. But he said the staff was so friendly one who was a customer service manager and that it was so clean and safe! Fantastic.

Loved the experience in Nottingham. Quite cold now but around this time of the year everyone's so festive. The city centre is very much alive on the weekend. You often see lots of students out and about as well from the university. Nottingham has rich cultural history and great significance in the UK and sovereignty of England. Truly a pleasure being here.

Best place to be a student, surrounded by clubs and everything you need is a tram stop or a 5 min Uber away, good weather throughout

The exterior vicinity needs plenty of planting containers with real evergreen plants, it'll help uplift the area, and a positive welcoming to our tourist/visitors for Nottingham. All that plants need is a weekly watering. Helping to improve Nottingham economy is vital in these difficult bleak times.

I have to say, it is my favourite place to be. Always a wonderful atmosphere. And even just watching and feeling the trains zooming by. I hope to visit again quite soon. X
