Most upset really, I took my only form of transport a 5yr old female mountain bike no special label on it , I booked online like I've done before when it needed fixing ,that's been a few times , usually I have no problems! But they CONDEMNED! IT YESTERDAY ! NO HELP NO NOTHING EVRN SAID THEY WERE GONA TRASH IT ,OR DID I WANA JUNK IT ,! NO IVE JUST TRIED TO GET IT FIXED ? WHY WOULD I NEED TO JUNK IT, Just cuz it's a cheap nothing special,but it's all I have , so now still unfixed I'm to rude it into the ground! THANXXX FIR NOTHING HALFORDS! 🇬🇧😞

Kelly the manager at Halfords Newbury provided exceptional service! Wing mirror glass fell off on the motorway, in torrential rain in the dark. I could see Newbury Halfords was 20mins away but they closed in 20mins. I got to the store as the doors were preparing to close - I explained the emergency and Kelly helped me after hours. She even stood in the rain to dry the wing mirror so we could stick the new one in place. Truly exceptional service and I arrived safely and less stressed at my destination an hour and a half later - It is doubtful I could have continued my journey without Kelly!

Halfords replaced my car battery with instore fitting and I'm very pleased. My only criticism is that the online booking system does not link to their stores. I booked a fit time online and that never got through to the store, this also happened when I booked a tyre change slot a while ago. This is a simple IT fix but don't know why they don't do it!

Been in this town for 3 years now and have visited Halfords more than 20 times till now. What I have noticed over the course of last 6-8 months is that Customer Service has improved incredibly. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that serve you with a smile and get the job done

Best experience and service ever on a Sunday morning! Ashleigh advised and sourced items super efficiently, arranged roof bar fitting while I waited. Very well organised, helpful and can do. Ben and Kyle were brilliant checking the car and fitting the bars. Nothing was too much trouble. All 3 are a real credit to Halfords and a great example of how to do customer service well!

The lady on the floor Kerry, was knowledgeable, she never once tried to push me to a product in order to make more money, she listened to what I was trying to achieve and guided me to the best products to do the job, I've have just purchased a 54 plate Land Cruiser after my previous one had sadly failed the MOT, this newer car is black and is going to show any little scratches or imperfections, I purchased a Rotary Sander, Microfibre clothes, a Karcher snow foam attachment, a tub of snow foam, fingers crossed I'll get some good results as I have never attempted to polish a car like this. Aaron at the desk was efficient and friendly, Halfords Newbury, spot on .

Whilst the website recommended the wrong battery, the fitter at Newbury “Angus” was excellent throughout, finding the correct battery and sorting the exchange as well as doing a thorough check afterwards to ensure a very happy customer. A shout out to Angus and the rest of the Newbury team for being welcoming, professional and extremely helpful.
