Pretty cool and unique church. Also area is very nice area to walk around. The place is very clean and staff was friendly! There are rules to go inside: - Females have to have their legs covered. Obviously you can't go there in swim where. Also property the church building is a free entry.

So much peace and love in this place...brings you to tears. Think of all those whose lives were lost at sea too. A beautiful sacred place and a little store to bring a memory home.

Today, I came to enjoy the ocean view. I usually bring my chair and mind my own business; only to realize that one of the priest was making his way towards my car. I rolled down my window and I say good morning only to be berated because according to him I was speeding when I enter the premises. I said sir I apologize I did not realize that I was speeding and he continued. I was shocked because his overall demeanor did not represent God at all, but represented a religious doctrine. According to him, he was concern about the “safety of children,” and pedestrians yet where are they when people come and throw Santeria sacrifices into the water. That is not perturbing for the innocent? Wow, I try to seek peace by reflecting in nature, and I cannot even do that thanks to the persecution of religious folks. Access to the ocean view should be segregated from the church premises and should be accessible to the public without the church’s input. Finally, Catholics should worry about what they their priests do to children and not about someone speeding.

I made it in time for confession and Spanish Mass. Packed with all God's children. it has an incredible view of the water where Nuestra Señora de Caridad appeared. An absolute must visit. From here, you are 5 minutes from Vizcaya Museum via Uber. I absolutely feel home in the Ermita de la Caridad. You will too.

The whole place around it is so placid and calm. In honor to Nuestra Señora de la Caridad, Cuba's patron. Go there, walk around, sit on one of the benches and find some peace

Beautiful sacred place. We went to the 11 am mass for a mass dedicated to my cousin Roberto Selcis. It was suppose to be an announced mass. His name was not read. We arrived at 10 am for the 11 am mass. We did the rosary before mass. The music was lovely. The priest was wonderful & completed the mass even though he was having chest pains. The location is a blessing from God on the seashore. After mass my family had a picnic on the grounds facing the water. We offered the mass & communion in our hearts to God & the Blessed Mother. Our Lady of Charity- Nuestra Señora de la Caridad del Cobre Is the patron saint of Cuba in this apparition of the Blessed Mother. Thank you to all the work with great love at this holy shrine on its 50 anniversary.

I am not very religious but it is real nice and it has a nice view of the bay and you can get to see a little bit of the mantion of viscaya. I wish it could of been a lot sunnier yesterday for better pictures....but next time I hope if the sun is out I'll probably get some good pictures!!!....:-D

The shrine of Our lady of charity is a welcoming warm and peaceful place of worship! The staff is very kind and they go out of their way to welcome you and to make you feel at ease and comforted by their kindness! The shrine of Our lady of mercy is a blessing for people from all over the world and from all different religions but specially for Catholics!!

Most beautiful place to sit and watch the ocean. The inside is also very beautiful. Only thing is getting in is a little complicated because there's a school there so i went the wrong way the first time.

If you are Cuban or have an affinity with the Cuban people you have to visit this place. The Hermitage of Charity preserves a replica of the image of the Virgen de la Caridad, the patron saint of Cuba. It is an obligatory place of pilgrimage for Cubans.

Beautiful, serene, awe inspiring, historical... there are many adjectives to describe "la Ermita de la Caridad" it is a wonderful place to attend mass. An even better place to simply disconnect from your everyday problems and meditate in prayer and worship.

Requested a dearly departed mass and they had a festive Brazilian mass in Portuguese we should of gotten a call to advise us of the change Our hearts were saddened by a mother's death we would of liked to at least understand

Incredible place to just take a breather sit back and relax, take in all the fresh ocean air, the spirituality of the church and the sound of the water. The inside of the church is adorned with “La Caridad del Cobre”. They have a small gift shop inside the church that have all sorts of religious items.

Horrible Experience with this new priest today at 3pm. Mistreating me and my family isn't the way to go, last time I'm going to this place. I wanted to enjoy today with my family by going to church after not going before the pandemic and we decided to go today and this is how they treat us??? That's horrific

The church is beautiful . That’s why I chose it to run my recently deceased father mass . However, the priest didn’t stop complaining . He used his time to complain and scold about people. Very negative . My family and I were mourning and didn’t expect this negativity . This was n Friday 24th and 8 pm . Unfortunately and despite the church is beautiful , the priests should at least make their effort to represent it
