Ballard Park is a community park just a short walk from the downtown area. This is a great place to take in a view for lunch, stroll, jog, or fish. The park also has tennis courts, rentable gazebos, picnic areas, boat launch, and large fenced in playground. Positioned on Indian River and end of Eau Gallie River, offers a great views of the nearby marina and 518/Eau Gallie Causeway bridge. Best part is the local wildlife. You may see manatees, dolphins, and bird life. Enjoy your time here!

Beautiful but gets VERY busy and filled with people. Get there early! Gazabos you can rent or try. You can use them if Not rented, but a possibility someone can come over and show they rented it for the day and you have to move all your stuff. So I would just rent it :) you can drop you boat or kayak in at this park. You can fish, but as I said it het super crowded. Beautiful park and I said... Just a little too busy with a lot of children running around. Just know that before you go :) If this has helped, please like and follow. Or find me on Instagram or YouTube for more park reviews @AtlasJeeper.

Went kayaking at sunset with friends. First time launching here, and what a nice launch for kayaks. Public ramps (3 each), with a shallow concrete slope makes it easy. Very clean looking park, make sure you use GOOGLE maps as it's easy to miss turn on US 1. This is one of the places in the local area where you can see families of dolphins right from the shore... Lovely place to kayak. Would recommend to anyone even if you don't kayak...

Beautiful place to see boats coming in and out of the small harbour. On several occasions I have seen dolphins closeby. Relaxing view on the river.

We love to bring our daughter here to the playground. Recent updates to the equipment are great, age appropriate, and plenty of room. A little bummed they took the basketball hoops down and not sure as to the reasoning.

Great park! Clean picnic tables and benches right on the water! Cool wildlife! Good spacing between tables, but not too far! Parking was good and distanced! Amazing view!

Great place for sunset views When it's a bit cooler there are usually manatees and dolphins swimming around. Gators also occasionally surface. Tons of big birds waiting for fisherman to offer up their catch. Overall pretty clean but people do not clean up after themselves. Lots of options to exercise With Tennis and Basketball Courts.

Not a big park but a nice park on the water...tennis courts. Covered tables & sitting area. A fun place to relax and watch boats coming in and out of the channel. Great view. Have watched dolphins playing in the afternoons and once in awhile a manatee floats by the shore line.

Ballard Park is great! There are pavilions to rent, boat docks, river access for fishing and swimming near the shore, gated kid's playground (with a restroom close by), tennis court, and basketball court. Plenty of parking spots for all kinds of park goers, including handicap spots and vehicles towing boats. It's also a lovely place to enjoy the view of the river to watch passing boats, dolphins, and manatees while sitting on the many benches available.

Great place to launch a boat on a windy day, it's very sheltered. Also awesome place to kayaking and stand up paddling. There you can see bottle nose dolphins hunting and birds. Its very safe and beautiful.

Beautiful park. Water, play area, picnic tables. It was nice. More shade for parking would be nice but that would be my only complaint.
