This
is
a
for-profit
hospital
that
will
hold
people
against
their
will
for
as
long
as
insurance
will
keep
paying.
I
know
this
because
of
other
reviews
but
also
a
staff
member
directly
told
me
that
if
my
girlfriend
does
not
have
insurance
she
will
be
discharged
(then
they
got
her
insurance
info
figured
out).
But
she
still
has
a
large
bill
racking
up
and
the
finance
department
called
me
to
try
to
get
a
down
payment,
and
the
call
raised
so
many
red
flags.
I
was
very
busy
at
work
when
they
called,
but
the
finance/billing
person
repeatedly
tried
to
get
me
to
make
a
payment
at
that
very
moment
as
if
it
were
some
kind
of
emergency
requiring
immediate
funds.
My
girlfriend
had
a
mental
health
emergency
and
was
involuntarily
committed
there
1
week
ago
and
did
not
receive
any
treatment
for
3
days.
There
is
no
therapy
taking
place,
she
rarely
ever
sees
an
actual
doctor
or
psychiatrist,
and
when
she
does
see
a
doctor,
it
is
for
very
brief
periods
of
time.
There
is
not
enough
staff
to
care
for
patients
and
the
staff
are
almost
always
busy
breaking
up
fights
or
arguments
between
patients
and
cannot
administer
real
treatment.
My
girlfriend
is
back
to
normal
and
taking
medication
(and
has
been
for
days)
and
is
no
longer
having
a
mental
health
emergency,
but
they
still
wont
let
her
leave.
They
keep
pushing
the
discharge
date
back
without
cause.
Most
recently,
they
pushed
the
proposed
discharge
to
9/1
and
it
is
no
coincidence
that
9/1
is
the
date
that
her
insurance
coverage
ends.
I
have
been
researching
the
laws
in
Tennessee
for
3
days
and
have
identified
multiple
instances
of
her
rights
being
violated.
UPDATE:
I
inquired
about
the
reason
for
refusing
to
let
her
leave
and
eventually
got
the
doctor
on
the
phone
and
the
doc
(Judy
Allen,
NP)
basically
made
up
lies
by
getting
information
from
the
intake
file
and
writing
that
info
in
her
psych
eval
notes
7
days
later
as
if
my
gf
was
in
the
same
mental
state
she
was
in
when
she
was
admitted.
Same
thing
as
the
other
review
that
says
they
used
falsified
medical
records.
I
had
backed
them
into
a
corner
by
citing
TN
Codes
regarding
patient
rights
and
procedures
for
involuntary
commitment
and
discharge,
and
the
hospital
staff
retaliated
by
falsifying
records
medical
nurses
ER
feel
environment
