Great service and all round, great experience. It’s well themed, staff are very kind and approachable. Drinks were lovely and there is many options as well as soft drinks (Pepsi, lemonade, juices). The roast was great value for money and good portion sizes, with the choice of pork, chicken and beef. Desserts were killer. I would recommend as a lovely treat or a night out, I will be returning

Came in on Saturday 27th August for a meal after months of debating if we should go. Other half is a massive lover of rum and I am a massive foodie. We loved every minute the food and drink were amazing. The atmosphere was great especially when Zombie played and most of the restaurant started to join in on the chorus. We will definitely be back with friends who love Rum and make a night of it

Had an amazing time at the bottomless brunch, seated quickly with first order taken quickly. They even allowed us to stay on at a different table after our brunch had finished. Cocktails were good, nice and strong

We went out to celebrate our son for finishing his university studies! And we end up on the best theme bar ever! The food was excellent! The Rom based cocktails where to the sky! Atmosphere was just epic! And the staff very friendly and dedicated to their job! We will definitely come back ! Loads of our friends received pictures from our last night experience!

Nice pub. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We had a sumptuous dinner and we had different kinds of cocktails 🍸 loved it. Definitely be back soon . Highly recommended!

Great evening had by all. The drinks menu was something to be admired for any rum lover. The food was all delicious and there wasnt a hungry one between us by the time we left. The nachos were probably the best iv ever had. The bbq sauce on them is definitely a game changer. The decor is great and a great lively atmosphere. Staff were all very attentive and friendly.  Definitely recommend. Thanks for a great evening.

We had a lovley meal, great cocktails. The music was rather loud, and being able to see kitchen staff touching there hair and plating up wasn't the best impression. However i was very impressed to the eye to detail with my dietary needs. Would definitely go again 🙂

This place gets the food, the service and the music just right - we had a great afternoon here - the drinks selection are brilliant and the you have to try a Calico Jack or a Barbarossa cocktail just to see it !! Food was brilliant the wings are the best I have ever had and the pizza and burgers are truly top draw - add to that friendly not pushy service and this is a superb place to while-away a few hours. I had a Jamaican Burger and loved it - highly recommended. Got to say the music was great - bangin tunes and just added to the whole vibe brilliantly. This place ticks all the boxes for sure - book a table. Would I go back - IN A HEARTBEAT !!

This place is incredible. A pirate themed cocktail bar. What else do you need to say... The staff all seem to love their job and were all up for a good laugh. Consistently good music on the whole time, broken up by the occasional Pirates of the Caribbean theme song (partnered by scenic flashing lights). Each cocktail is pirate themed, some are named after various famous pirates. These all come with eccentric backstories and theatrics delivered by the staff. All of this, paired with some incredible chicken wings makes for a great night out. Surprised I can remember so much after the amount of cocktails we had. 10/10 would gladly drink here again.

Great music, millennial demographic and very tasty cocktails. Atmosphere is on point and perfect for group events if you’re celebrating something and you want it to be themed. People came here with outfits on and pirates of the Caribbean theme tune comes on for the dead man’s chest sharer drinks 🍹 which is fantastic. Music is loud here so keep that in mind. Cocktails £9-12. Update Jan 24: the atmosphere is still very good and we had fun. We spent over £300 for a birthday, they made a few mistakes - 45 mins for a missing drink, sloppy nachos that were supposed to be plain but arrived with meat (didn’t want to cause a fuss so decided to take it, which was fine, but the tacos were so wet it was messy to eat…) and then they reluctantly gave us tequila rose shots with cream (half full) and insisted I pay £7.50 after agreeing to give us one free (for the birthday), claiming it was £3.75 for half a shot of tequila rose… Just left a sour taste in my mouth. Will rethink about spending future birthdays here. The atmosphere is really good but the lack of generosity for just a few weak shots - after we paid a lot - is sad.

Quirky pirate themed rum bar, great food and fantastic customer service. A whole menu of cocktails and very generous food portions. (I highly recommend the Buttermilk Chicken Waffle). We loved the music - some 90s / ‘00s alternative / classic rock music. Best of all….dog friendly 👍 would recommend.

We really enjoyed our evening at Rapscallions. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere and music were great and the food was nice. We didn’t try any of the cocktails but they looked amazing. Would definitely come back again.

What a great place this is!! Very unique, with a great blend of pirate themed atmosphere, great food and music. Took my 11 year old boys for a birthday treat. The kids cocktails looked fantastic and the kids loved them. Definitely will come back..

Went on a Friday night for a bottomless brunch with my boyfriend. The pizzas were amazing and you can tell they’re made fresh! Tasted absolutely delicious! We were stuffed! And the cocktails were again very tasty! Definitely worth it for the price too! I didn’t get the name of the guy who served us but he was brilliant! He was quite tall, he had a checked green shirt on if that helps! ☺️ but it was a very lovely well over due date night so thank you! ☺️

Best rum selection in Portsmouth and Isle of wight. staff are knowledgeable about the stock they carry and really engage with the customers. The large cocktails are really an experience with a sense of ceremony when they are delivered. The food is so much better than you would think for a place like this. Booking is advised as it can get very busy.

What an epic bar! Came over for a birthday celebration and we weren't disappointed. Zak and Gabriel were awesome food was delicious and cocktails were to die for. We will certainly be coming back and bringing the gang with us. Thank you ❤️

I have been here a few times and love the theme. Cocktails are amazing!!! Love the theatre with the dry ice. Very good roast, generous portions. Staff friendly - excellent customer service from the lady with dark hair (sorry I didn't catch your name). Hope to visit again to try more!

We all had a great night out. The cocktails were amazing 👏 but unfortunately the food was average at best. But i did have one of the most amazing Desserts 🍨 I've ever had and the atmosphere is great with fantastic music playing in the background. If the food had been better this place would have got 5 stars.

My first time at Rapscallions bottomless brunch and we had an incredible time! Pizza was gooey and delicious, drinks were smooth (thanks Charlie!) And the surprise drinks were so much fun! Thank you so much to our waitresses Erin and Naz, beautiful, friendly girls who made our visit perfect!

I wish I could give this place a 9/10 instead of a 5/5, it would be more appropriate. So the food was inconsistent - the steak was good but the fries and my wife's scampi were pretty average. Makes me think that it's just shop bought stuff when making it from scratch would be no more expensive. If I was reviewing a restaurant it will be a solid 3/5, however while they may serve food that is not what matters in the slightest. Rapscallions is hands down the best rum bar I have ever been too. The cocktails are excellent, the rums they use are the very best, the music is good and the vibe is absolutely second to none. I probably won't eat there again but I'm already arranging another trip to Portsmouth just for a night there. Absolutely great night and a solid 9/10.

Delightful. A large birthday party was easily seated in advance. Table service was excellent. Drinks and food top tier. The atmosphere for the shared drinks, music and sea shanties was unreal. One of the best pub experiences out there. Grab a few shipmates and give the place a try!

Great Atmosphere. Great service. Big selection of rum drinks. Loved the music they were playing too. After I paid my bill, a member of staff was very nice and gave me a privilege card that can get me happy hour prices all day, everyday. Will definitely be going back there very soon. Definitely recommend.
