I'm sorry to read the negative reviews that some patients have experienced. My mother & I moved here in 2017 & can honestly say that we've had constant support & help from the Receptionists, Nurses & Dr's. We've only ever had kindness, empathy & first class service. They have honestly been a huge support to us both.

I got the appointment easily and promptly. Dr Sagoo was really good he listened to my concerns and my symptoms. He gave me reassurance and wants to see me again in 3 weeks. Very good service.

Initially couldn't get morning appointment,went to surgery @2pm secured appointment for the afternoon. It's really depends on doctor you see,last time I felt my concerns were dismissed,sat longer in waiting room than appointment!!!!!! This time excellent consultation,I was listened to,my concerns taken seriously,I was not made to feel I was time wasting,now in itself that's making me feel better,tests to be done,progress being made,appropriate medication given. I'm extremely happy with the practice this time.

My first appointment at the practice for a health check. Jayne was really nice, very helpful & thorough due to slightly high blood pressure. I also called after 2pm & got an appointment later that afternoon to see a Doctor which would never have happened at my previous practice. Thank you once again.

Transferred over as moved house. Got a convenient appointment, seen right on time. GP had the time to listen to all of the issues and I had effective prognosis and acted immediately to requests. Couldn't have asked for more. So much better than my last medical practice. Well done Portland Medical Practice!

Dr Hasan is very caring and listening to all my symptoms. Prompt referral done for further care. Explained the reports to me in detail and explained why the reason for the referral.

I can’t rate Portland Medical Practice highly enough. My mom who has now sadly passed away, was very ill for well over 12 months and in that time I had to contact the surgery many times. All the receptionists and GPs have been polite, kind and empathetic at all times and when ever I used the econsult service, I rarely had to wait longer than a day for a reply. Thank you for the care you gave my mom and keep up the great work.

Have been with Portland for 20 years now. Pandemic and postPandemic have been trying times. I got into telephone consultations, and found the doctors sympathetic and helpful. I got into electronic query/symptoms, and got responses within 48 hours. I have attended for blood tests, but have not really needed face to face consultation with a doctor. Some people clearly feel the need to do this, and in some cases it will be necessary, but upto now I have been happy with the responses I have received from the surgery.
