What a fantastic place. Had my cataract done in Wolverhampton from the moment you enter the clinic you are put at ease, caring receptionists and nurses. The two hour pre operation assessment went quickly and the operation went well with nurses and surgeon explaining everything that was happening and going to happen. For someone who is quite nervous this was a great bonus. Great service highly recommended

I'm happy to place a positive review for Spa Medica. I recently had cataract surgery here. A professional and friendly outfit. Had a thorough pre-assessment a few weeks ago where they photograph and measure your eye. Then on Monday of this week the actual surgery which of course made me a littlw nervous. I met a number of very nice people here especially the surgeon who was very reassuring. the actual procedure was straightforward and painless and took less than 20 minutes. You are then given a debrief about taking your post surgery drops etc. Anyone who has misgivings about this sort of eye surgery, take it from me. You're in very good hands with the people at Spa Medica.

SpaMedica Pendeford Wolverhampton are amazing. I had my second eye operated on yesterday, that’s the right and left in two months. My sight has never been so good. The staff are wonderful, kind and efficient. Nothing is too much trouble. If anyone reading this is due to have their cataracts operated on then don’t worry. The procedure takes 10/15 minutes and you are in good safe hands. Also it doesn’t hurt at all. I can’t recommend SpaMedica highly enough. Thank you to my doctor for sending me to such a great place.

As very nervous patient i was made to feel very relaxed .receptionists so pleasant both nurses that administerd drops made me feel so calm were such lovley ladys .surgery was so quick and i now wonder why i was so scared .i would recomend any one get it done especialy at wolverhampton.

Well, where do I start! I am such a coward for anything medical, and this is your eyes!! SpaMedica we're absolutely amazing, anybody worried about a cataract operation, worry no more, you are in safe hands, it dosen't hurt, the procedure is so quick, the care and support is amazing. I had my second cataract done just two weeks ago. I couldn't be more pleased of my experience at SpaMedica. The treatment from start to finish was excellent. My father was referred here by specsavers who told him the local hospital DOESNT do cataract ops only spa medics. He developed complications & spa medics refused to see him. After th call was told to go the hospital. The hospital were angry that spa medics done the cataract op as this happens al the time that they have to see patients like dad. They also confirmed that specsavers lied about cataract not being done by NHS. I have since learnt that specsavers & spa med are partners. Please be careful of this trap go to your GP FOR NHS referral

Excellent service by all the nurses and doctors. Went with my grand dad who isn’t a strong English speaker but the employees were all mega helpful and kind to both me and my granddad. Really glad we chose to come here.

I took a resident from where I work who lives with dementia and I have to say from start to finish the staff were amazing,nothing is to much trouble,they are very caring and patient and showed compassion towards her,the place is well organised.the staff offered us hot drinks on many occasions,fantastic team work.

What can I say about SpaMedica, it is absolutely brilliant I had my cataract op on the 26June and I must admit I was a bit apprehensive about having it done.but all the staff were wonderful they put you at ease I never felt a thing I was in and out again in 2 hours.I would recommend anyone who has to have cataract surgery to go to SpaMedica when I have my second one done I know I will be in safe hands and have nothing to worry about. This hospital is amazing - have had cataract surgery on both eyes and laser surgery on one eye. Follow up is quick & staff are so helpful and caring. Definitely recommend and would give more stars if I could.

I can't recommend Spamedica Wolverhampton enough, my Mom has recently had a YAG procedure (due to have the second eye done next month) From Mom's initial assessment to the actual day of her first procedure ... all members of staff were very professional and caring, they took time to explain the treatment. The treatment itself was pain free with no post operative issues. Mom was very well looked after. We are due to go again in two weeks for the second eye and Mom has no anxiety and actually looking forward to getting it done and the end result!

I have both eyes done and the difference in my sight is fantastic. All the doctors and staff were great they explained everything they are going to do in the operation and how long it would take.
