Pathetic food - completely tasteless. Please stay away. Not even worth trying. Messed up our whole order. Update after the owner's amazing response: 1. Authentic Mexican food - If you are calling this food that you are serve here - authentic then I really think it's high time for you to start eating outside your restaurant. Stop spoiling the taste and name of Mexican cuisine for numerous others. 2. Extra chips: Lol, we did not even get the complete order we paid for. - let alone extra. 2 out of 5 items that we ordered were missing. You definitely need to work on improving the quality of the food and staff rather than making up these stories. 3. Supporting the small business: I think the first thing that you need to learn is to respect your customers and the HONEST reviews. And use this forum to learn what's not working and how you can improve rather than fighting(and copy pasting your Taco Bell cost and quality comment) with every customer that gives you a low rating. I was the only customer in the store, and I waited half an hour for them to prepare a burrito and two tacos. When I got home, I realized they only gave me the burrito, which was definitely not worth 30 minutes. The owner asked me to taste the food while he was preparing it, which was a nice touch, but they're just too chaotic and disorganized to have a successful restaurant.

Pure magic. The food here will take you on a journey across the galaxy. The steak taco's are wildly good. As soon as you walk in you'll know you made the right decision from the auroma. The staff is also incredibly helpful and kind. It feels like they've welcomed you into their home and made every dish with love and care. Lastly, this place is decorated in a really cool way. Definitely check it out!

The worst tacos I’ve ever eat. I got steak, chicken and pork, all of them were dry with no sauce and the flavor was so plane.The amount of meat that they put was a shame, they are not worth for the high price that they charge for each one. Never go to this place if you want to eat good food.

Only downside NO PARKING everything else is Exelente family owned and operated. So take it from me they treat you exactly like that… FAMILY ‼️ Animo muchachos 👍

We love this taco spot! It is great for quick bite before bar hoping in downtown JC, or after late night drinks, it is also BYOB. The tacos are authentic, we love the carnitas tacos. The owner and the staff are really nice and welcoming too

More like Taco Drive bye; I will never eat there again and will not only not tell ppl about it but will tell ppl how bad it was. The guy greeted me and then instantly turned around and starting doing something else. I stood there for about 2mins (watching him just restock things) before he took my order. I ordered and then he turned around again and started doing something else. This time, I stood there for 5mins plus and had my hand out holding my bank card. I got tired of waiting and sat down. I was watching videos on my phone while sitting. Another 5 mins and he calls me; I'm thinking wow food ready pretty fast. No, he then told me the amount and to pay. I paid and sat down again. I watch this man then walk over and change the trash bin with his bare hands, just to turn around and grab some chopped meat and throw it on the grill with the same bare hand. I then walked up and asked if that meat on the grill was mine. I told him and the cook that I saw him take out the trash with bare hands then threw meat on the grill. He looked at me crazy, like all a sudden he doesn't understand English. The woman on the grill, (God bless her) then took the meat off the grill and threw it out. Called me up and did the same thing again, had me wait while he refills things as I'm standing there. Got my food (prayed) and left. When I opened the box, my order was wrong. I ordered 2 chicken and 1 steak taco. I got 2 steak and 1 chicken(all dry) and only 1 tortilla for each. Every time and every where I go for tacos, always give 2 tortillas for each taco. Not here I guess. Also $2 for guacamole. If I get sick, I know where it comes from. I will make sure not to eat from anywhere until tomorrow, just in case. Never again! Do not eat at this place, especially if your black.

One of the best tasting burritos I've had. Fresh, full of flavor in every bite, and great quality ingredients. The portion size was a bit small though. I'll definitely be back

I was STARVING and had a chicken burrito from here that WAS AMAZING! every ingredient put together made it so delicious even after I warmed it up a little at home. 10/10 my favorite burrito spot 🌯🥇

The tacos are delicious. My second time here. Big screen TV with either music or sports. The owner sat with us this time around - really nice guy. Great space. Is definitely a new favorite of mine.

I ordered a pick-up order from this place on Uber Eats. Thankfully, I was able to receive a full refund because I paid $9 for the smallest container of chips and guacamole I have ever seen. I was also charged over $20 for four of the tiniest Birria tacos as well. Stay away from this place and go somewhere else. There are plenty of other good Mexican restaurants in the area. You know it’s bad when Uber Eats gives you a refund. They don’t like giving anyone anything.

Went there yesterday, we got 2 quesabirrias, perfect size, amazing taste not gonna lie, I believed the owner took our order very nice guy, very friendly Atmosphere 10/10 and good music We also had an order of churros with chocolate and strawberry sauce, they were also really good. Give it a try

Glad to know we have a solid taco place within walking distance. Taqueria is always too busy and tacoria is bland. This hit the spot with no wait and the owner was very welcoming. Will try the birria next time!

Let me start off by saying that the tacos are delicious. I just wish there was more of them. The portion sizes are really small. They're charging $3.95/taco and $4.95/birria taco which is really high for tacos. I get that it's Jersey City but they barely filled the tortillas. I've never spent so much on tacos and left so hungry. Maybe the Burritos are more filling?

TL;DR: Below-average food. Bad customer experience. Unsatisfactory experience all around. Placed a large group order and examined our bag to see an order was missing. Had to go back to receive our missing item. After coming home, we opened our boxes to find another surprise - they only gave 5 tacos when we ordered 7. Not to mention they packed the veg and non-veg orders together in the same box! Beware: food was also extremely bland. Owners, before you comment on the lack of reviews on my account - just imagine how terrible of an experience it must have been that I took out 10 mins to write this review.
