I have no idea why we hadn't discovered this until recently—we went to a lovely plant pop up shop here and made many nice memories! They also sold art. The plant shop advertised on isntagram so we checked it out, and everything is nice and clean and not too closed off, and very roomy. The art galleries are so pretty and we enjoyed them. The paintings we ended up seeing were mostly of bodies and people, which is my jam. There were also abstract galleries, which my fiancé liked. We found a place to sit and chat, and there was music in some rooms and none in others. I would definitely come partake again

Corridor of art galleries along the High Line. Free and open to the public. It is such a privilege to live in NYC and have access to wonderful art spaces like this .

Really nice gallery in a great neighbourhood. Free entrance and nice artists. Some of the galleries were closed during the NYE week. There was one particular exhibition about projections on bodies, that was really interesting. The artist was also there to guide you through the process and explain a bit his intentions.

Very contemporary art space you can visit and they have occasional art and performance event for the public for free! This is definitely the must place to visit while you are in NYC. Very convenient from the Highline park, actually right beneath of it, between 27th and 28th St.

A wonderful gallery space. With 9 galleries it makes a good space to spend some time in. Would be fun as a date spot

Free art! Collection of small galleries with modern art. All free. The white floors, walls and architecture inside make it a good spot for photos as well
