oh where to begin! the victorian aesthetic is perfectly executed. from the wallpaper, paintings, antique mirrors, and vintage pieces to the plates food is served on! I had the mac and cheese and buffalo cauliflower for appetizers and I was shocked by how well seasoned these were. mhm mhm mhm!!! OMG the mash potatoes is a must have yall. a fried chicken sandwich with zucchini fries was also so delicious. the Julie C followed by the Berrylicious cocktail were amazing and big shoutout to Eoin for making them and his impeccable service. he poured his heart and soul into that espresso martini let me tell you... take your friends/family here to enjoy a scrumptious meal, have great drinks, listen to good music and support a family business!!

I can only really rate the cocktails, because that's what I had here, but since we came back two more times, I think it's safe to say we enjoyed Rosie's place! We sat at the bar and I enjoyed the Bar Car and the Outlaw. On our next visit, I tried the Bandit Queen -- spicy! When we returned with some relatives two days later, I went back to the Bar Car and tried the Gunslinger since I am fond of gin and elderflower. No pre-packaged yucky mixers here -- just really nice bartenders, friendly people, good TVs for watching the Final Four, and excellent cocktails!

Everything nearby was closed, so walked in for a quick late night drink and bite. The food sucked, chicken sliders were dry, very dry and underdressed. Nachos, portion size was too small for it to be called a shareable. Fries however were fresh and good sized. Bartender is on another level, no emotion, personal touch whatsover, you order and it's thrown at your table. Will not return nor recommend.

Matthew and Ross were consummate gentlemen. The food was fantastic. Service, impeccable. Decor and ambiance, well done. Outlets to charge your phones. There was even an authentic snug. (My only disappointment was my guests wouldn't sit in the snug with me!!) This is the real deal .. Every NYC visit will include a stop here... The Bangers and Mash were excellent... And double improved when a bottle of HP Sauce arrived at the table!

It was 9pm on pandemic Friday, where everything closes at 10pm, and we were lucky to be nearby to have a round of drinks and chat in this cozy Irish pub. Beautifully decorated by the way. We had their signature old-fashioned, oh boy, I need to have one more of that, well-balanced drink. Shepherd's pie was pretty delicious as well. There was quite pleasant vibe.

We sat at the bar it was an overall good experience. Food: - Chicken Tenders 3.5 of 5 - Sliders 3 of 5 - Bangers and mash 4.5 of 5 (Mash is fantastic!) Service: -The first server, he was friendly and attentive (4.5 of 5) - Final server, she likely was having an unpleasant day, happens to the best of us, but she was a bit reactive when we showed her the prices on the scanned menu didn't match. (3 of 5) Atmosphere: Very Victorian, they definitely delivered on the theme. (4.5 of 5)

9/29/21, Great Irish pub, they served appetizers and great drinks. The Shepard's pie and the chicken pot pie was delicious. Service and music was great! Long island ice tea are were fantastic! Great time at Rosie's!

I would give more stars but unfortunately the security/bouncer last night has prevented me from doing so. He sat in the complete dark area where the outside dining is, wearing a huge scary hat like a bowel on his head and just shined a flashlight on patrons before they entered into the bar, leaving them to wonder who he was and his purpose and possible fear of safety because of a lack of introduction or any communication . Saying , ‘excuse me’ and just shining a flashlight on someone from 15 feet away is not really appropriate for business. After checking my ID, i went in to the bar then went back outside and I had asked the bouncer if it was ok to bring in a Red Bull which was confirmed acceptable by the bartender, The bouncer told me I had to drink it outside the bar. His response was ‘you can tell the bartender I said so.’ That was a first situation for me in all my years of going to bars and although I have no problem following the rules of any establishment, my main issue with the bouncer was his lack of professionalism, communication, and enthusiasm. I felt more like someone visiting a prison rather than a patron at a nice bar. At closing time, the bouncer simply yelled out, ‘5 minutes!’ inside the bar and walked away. I hope that the owner catches wind of this and recommends some sort of customer service training for the bouncer. I think it should be understood that it’s a Victorian style pub in midtown Manhattan that attracts a midtown after work crowd and older tourists - not a high traffic dance club. In fact, I’ve had more courtesy from bouncers at a high traffic dance club. With all that aside, Rosies is a great bar with good food, friendly bartenders and fantastic live music every Thursday and Saturday. My experience with the bouncer will not keep me from returning as I often do.

It was my first time at this spot. I had a good time here, the bartender was on point and friendly, the food I had was delicious and the drinks were even better. It can get a bit loud so not a date spot for sure, it's better for a group outing. I would recommend this place to others, I'll for sure revisit!

Great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat, especially if you enjoy Irish food and a pink of Guinness. Stayed in NY on a business trip and stopped here a couple of nights after work. The crowd is lively and the staff is very friendly and attentive. I tried the shepherds pie and the Guinness beef stew and both were excellent. About as close as you can get to Ireland without going.

This place was a real disappointment. I saw the 4.6 google rating and expected a lot more. I have to say the service and atmosphere were both very nice. The food was not good. We got fish and chips and bangers and mash which should be 2 staples for an Irish place. The fish were basically fish sticks and nothing close to proper fish for fish and chips. The chips were good. The bangers were some very generic sausage and the mash was instant mashed potatoes. Go here to enjoy some drinks and some chips but avoid it for dinner.

I struggle with 4.6. The food isn’t great, the drinks are good if you order something simple like a gimlet. And on a football Saturday, the main bartender seems to be more interested in macking on some blondes in the corner rather than cleaning half of his bar with patrons waiting to sit. I stood in front of the bar for 7-10 min before I left. Not every bar is a 4.6, this one included, not a travesty just don’t go if your basis is Google ratings.

I researched many places for a big birthday party that I was having and I could not be happier that I went with Rosie Dunn. It was the perfect place, and the space upstairs where I have the party was absolutely beautiful and spacious. Niall was so lovely and easy to work with and made my birthday the best could possibly be. He accommodate all my needs and I would host any event there in the future without any hesitation. I HIGHLY recommend going here, having an event here, whatever it is, you will have an amazing time, Everyone love the space and had a blast!

Needed somewhere wheelchair accessible in the city and was delighted I found this place. The staff were friendly and full of chat. Food was fantastic and great value. It's a nice play for a catch up. Would definitely recommend.
