I won some tix to see 2 of the greatest yacht rockers ever to rock a yacht. I can’t tell you who, but one had a bunch of songs on top gun (the first one), and the other sang the theme to Arthur (the first one). The boat was big and had 2 decks we were able to go on. Bathrooms were better than most boats. 2 bars. Boat-flew near the George Washington bright then made it to the Statue of Liberty right at sunset. So cool.

I took my husband to pier 81 La barca cantina in New York City. Definitely a fun & different experience, walking up onto a boat to have some tacos cruising on the Hudson river. It was kind of cloudy for us but it was a nice tolerable weather. Looking through the menu, They have tequila galore from many regions of Mexico. We chose the region of Chihuahua and we tried la flor del desierto, my tasting note was smokey with a mild sweet background. Next time we'll try tequila from the Oaxaca region. The food is quite expensive for the amount of food you receive 2 tacos range between $17 thru $19 , 3 tacos range almost up to $27. It's a la carte, doesn't come with any sides. The sides range between $5 to $10 .They did have the little crickets called champulines on their side menu, we didn't try those because we wanted to try them authentically in Mexico. The chips and salsa were very expensive for 3 different kinds of salsa, 2 oz of each. They tasted good but very small amount for $16 ,but be careful because I ordered chips & salsa not chips guac and salsa .... $5 price difference. We ended up ordering 2 tacos each the cochinita pibil and Tony's champenadas tacos which were the menu's featured taco. We didn't get any sides because it was just too expensive and not worth it. The 1 hr cruises go through the northern part of the Hudson, its nice, it's an hour on the dot. I think my recommendation maybe for this experience is going on the longer trips, so you can enjoy more of the ride and specials. For us, it was too quick for a relaxing afternoon. I do recommend this experience, not the regular food menu, unless you go for the bottomless brunch. But maybe just the atmosphere with a couple of drinks or the bucket of beer was worth it was $36 for 5 beers. We didn't have any dessert there because we were just gonna go elsewhere. I have a recommendation to the restaurant: Offer more food for the price, especially when it's Mexican themed, don't forget customers pay to reserve a seat on the boat, so complimentary chips is a nice touch maybe for the taco prices add 1 more taco to each. Revise your appetizer menu, or at 4pm do a happy hour. My friend and I were at Pier 81 because we were on the North River Lobster Company boat. I lived in New York my whole life and I have never seen any of the piers in the city. It was a real treat to see it for the first time. We got lucky it was a beautiful day to be walking around the pier. We saw a cute little dog park. I really like seeing the USS Intrepid. I’ve never seen a naval ship up close before. The sight I really enjoyed was watching people paddle boating on the river. I told my friend that I would like to do that one day because it looked like fun. I can see why people like to walk around the pier. It really is the best to be near the river!

My friend and I went for the very first time. It was a great experience! Beautiful view, friendly people, great customer service, great music and great food. We had the lobster roll with obay chips, we shared the blood orange sangria in the 32oz lighthouse cup and we also had the popcorn shrimp and Mac & cheese balls - which I highly recommend getting! We're definitely coming back in July. Pro tip: Purchase the 7pm ticket to watch the sunset, the ticket was $20 for that time.

Great time. Went for a loved one's Birthday and everyone enjoyed themselves. Maybe a higher expectation when it came to the menu but all was delicious.

I went with my husband to La Barca Cantina, the atmosphere there is amazing I can’t complain about it it was a great experience , the waitresses atenttion is good is understandable they are very busy bc the place is full, and I still thinking the food is too expensive. I recommend if your plan is only go for drinks and enjoy the landscapes and of course the music !!!

It was a nice experience, you can see the city at night, as well as the statue of Liberty. It was awesome and the boat was superb. Couldn't taste the food since we had ate before, but would definitely go back and try it out.

Took the lobster boat and it was amazing. The food was out of this world.

If you are going for views then it's cool.. Service was trash or maybe it was just my waitress she sucked! She seemed annoyed at us when she was the 1 messing up the order. They only have whole lobster not just lobster tails.. She made it a big deal bcuz I requested my lobster cracked it all the major places. If u plan on getting the Mexican corn do not!! That was not Mexican! Idk who it was. The Chipotle mayo had no Chipotle but it had relish! If u don't like pickles like me don't get that.. Also you can not substitute anything at all they will make u pay for the whole meal plus what u wanted to substitute for

I went to la Barca cantina for my birthday with my babe & I loved everything about this Place. It was a magical night for me, I reallyyyy loveddddd the views.😍 the food was good, the views beautiful, good music & environment on the boat, the price for the food & drinks affordable. This is a MUST GO PLACE. 5/5
