Love this place! Gianna is an absolute gem and treated this first timer like a VIP. She let me sample a piece of warm, fresh mutz while I was waiting. And it was as quality and quality can be. I settled on a chicken cutlet sandwich with mutz, prosciutto, their famous “Charlie peppers”, and balsamic. Huge, messy sandwich in the best way. The bread was killer, the cutlets were delightfully crispy, the peppers added some heat, and all of the flavors were balanced and exciting. Highly recommend!

Great place! The food was fantastic. I had the chicken vodka parmigiana - soft, fresh Italian bread, chicken was flavorful and tender, and the sauce was delicious. The fresh Parm was insane! The service was excellent. These guys were fast and ran a great shop. Price was right. Seating - there are a few tables inside and a couple outside. Time your visit! I'll definitely be heading back next time I'm up there.

A must for their mozzarella, made fresh each day. You won't find better anywhere. I personally enjoy a mozz/roasted pepper/sun dried tomatoes sandwich with balsamic. Ask them to avoid the extra oil that comes naturally with some of the ingredients, and take a lot of extra napkins anyway. Absolutely delicious. Owner and staff are also hard working and friendly. If you're looking for an off the beaten path little deli, this is certainly worth the trip.

Outstanding sandwich! I was away from home, looking for a quick lunch. I ordered the Classic Italian expecting the usually Italian sub. When I I opened it up, I was blown away the the massive brick of fresh mozzarella cheese hiding in the middle. This is truly a next-level sandwich!

I’m from Chicago and sometimes come out here on business and I look forward grabbing a meal from here. Hands down one of the best Italian subs I ever had. Also the pasta salad + rice ball is fantastic. One suggestion I have is to keep some hot giardiniera on hand for a spicy option. I checked my luggage so I could bring a jar with me and it was epic. Would rate this place 6 stars if I could when you add the giardiniera.

Amazing meatball sandwich here. Found this place on Google Maps and I'm glad I stopped in. Massive sandwich with totally fresh ingredients and on killer bread! I was totally impressed with the taste! Highly recommended. Their menu is huge and I'm already contemplating my next order.

If you're looking for a Jersey style deli, THIS is the one. Fantastic food, fantastic service, and great experience. The outside seating areas were super nice to have, everything was fresh, etc. They also offer free delivery. What's not to love?!

Subs/Hoagies are massive. Portions of meat are really good and the homemade mozzarella was also good. I got the #7 and added ham and turkey and lettuce. It was a LOT more than I expected so I was happy. I got the crispy bread, I think next time I would opt for the soft bread. The cannoli’s were okay, I don’t think I’ll get them again but worth a try. The staff was also friendly and welcoming :)

This place is delicious! One of the best chicken parmigiana sandwich! I mean all their sandwiches are delicious but the main one is the chicken parm! My husband and I are big fans of it, it’s fresh and yummy and the bread is crispy! Definitely recommend

Great sandwiches and meal options during lunch times... I went with 10 people for 2 days straight and they were able to get us in and out with fresh food... I will definitely go again whether I'm in the neighborhood or not.

First time there was in town for Cowboys game found this deli and it was absolutely amazing. Staff was awesome n owner tool my order and brought it to table and took the time to talk for 10 minutes. Wish this deli was in Florida. Will go back every time I'm up there.

Popular neighborhood deli with the best mozzarella, chicken cutlet sandwich and my new fav, the spicy chicken sandwich. Friendly staff, and super efficient! They do a great job with catering too.

I'm in Jersey so I have to stop at a proper Italian deli... Right!? I had a ham, salami, and mozzarella sandwich... And it was ridiculous. I'm not sure if they make their own mozzarella in-house or if they get it fresh everyday but it was too good. If you're in the Secaucus area you really should swing by this place for a sandwich.

We stopped by here on a whim while being in town for 13 hours waiting for our next flight (to Italy, actually!) Sandwiches were very tasty, meat was fresh, and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend.

Excellent sandwiches with friendly and helpful service. The food is top quality with excellent ingredients. Their homemade mozzarella is not to be missed, and the portions are extremely generous for the price. Everything was delicious and as first timers the staff was extremely helpful with suggestions and getting us taken care of. A great place to stop for lunch.

I have walked in and order here several times and each time I have been met with excellent young vibrant staff. Step one of make a good deli sandwich is have great staff. The sandwhiches are unbelievable. They are very big and very delicious. My coworker eats here at aleast 3 times a week . I can honestly say you want a good deli sandwich come visit Giovanni's Italian deli.

Stopped by for the first time last week and it won't be the last. Classic Italian and Chicken Vodka Parm tasted amazing. Got it on the crispy Italian bread 🤤. Going back to try everything!! Great service too! It's a must try anytime in Secaucus.
