I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful this play was (The Doctor). The acting was perfect, the direction was amazing. I had a wonderful evening. I look forward to returning many, many times for future events. If you are "on the fence" regarding this play, think no further and go.

Took a tour of this National Historic Landmark( since 1986). Park Avenue Armory , home of 7th Regiment, was completed in 1880, with two expansions in the early 1900’s. It’s one of the two privately funded and furnished Armories of the nation. It underwent major renovation and is still under renovation. It’s now home of art organization, and the 7the regiment. Our tour guid was very knowledgeable.

What a wonderful place, full of history and one of the oldest structures in New york city perhaps in the United States. I loved TIFFANY'S designs and Some of his finest pieces of Art are located in this Armory. This is a National Historic landmark and alternative arts space .in the actuality looks more like a museum with pictures , furniture and decorations from it's brilliant past ., this old building used to store provisions for the military, a library, dining room and staff offices for ten regimental companies. In the 1900 Architects and interior designers of the American Aesthetic Movement were commissioned to furnish the rooms and company quarters. The library is known as the Silver Room or "Trophy Room" and was designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany who worked with architect Stanford White as a consultant on the project. The masterpiece of the armory building is the Veterans Room, also known as the Tiffany Room, with hand carved wood panelling and coffered ceiling in the Viking Revival style. Other significant craftsmen with work in the building..

This place is unlike the Broadway theaters, it’s inside the armory warehouse and very large space converted to the theater, the seats are build up levels with armchairs, seats are comfortable and the levels are high enough so you don’t have peoples head blocking your view. There’s not really a bad seat in the theater because everyone is facing front sitting in square space. The public facility are also very nice, dark wood decor with large oil paintings of military figures second floor has gender mutual bathroom and lower floor has another smaller bathroom. The room to get drink is also very cute like a library.

What a great space for entertainment. The interior is spectacular. The high ceilings, the open space, the beautiful wooden walls and staircase are a wonderful sight. The historical painting on the walls are stunning. I had a great time at an event here. I would definitely visit again.

Grace is an excellently informative tour guide! I look forward to further years of restoration. Fun fact (according to Grace): mostly locals visit the Park Avenue Armory, not national or international tourists.

This will be our favorite park. I and my wife visited New York for the first time, and a walk to Central Park was our must- see. A walk through the park provides a view of all the stunning buildings on Fifth Avenue. The park is full of trees and great monuments, fountains etc. I think everything looked most beautiful in the winter sun,now on January! We spent a lovely afternoon there with take-out coffee. A place like from a fairy tale, and I will always remember this weekend trip.

saw 'the doctor' starring juliet stevenson here. the play itself was good although was far too undecided to feel like it was saying anything substantial besides 'wow isn't this all quite complicated'. but the venue was stunning, particularly the lounge. good views from all the seats also as they're all tiered - we were sat in the back row and could see everything well.

Unique building that is historic and wonderful interior spaces, which being restored are a special performance stages. It can be utilized more, but certainly an additional room space for the performance chamber idioms.

I love the history and Energy of this Magnificent Building. The graciousness of staff is present. Good Purpose is illuminated. A Way Forward to a Better World of Equality with Care and Compassion is Practiced! I Especially Appreciate their partnership with National Black Theatre and other arts organizations in the centennial celebration of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, 100 Years l 100 Women Iniative.

The space was very cool. The stage was inside an enormous space with the seats on risers. Thankfully the actors are amplified so they can be heard. Staff was very helpful. Hope to see a better play there in the future. The one I saw tonight was awful.

What a glorious hall to mount a 360 degree video experience in. “Euphoria” makes smart use of the cavernous armory. Wrap-around projection of what must be close to a hundred kids in the Brooklyn Youth Choir…. Five screens of jazz drummers …. Excellent sound fidelity. This was the ideal venue to host Julius Rosenfeldt’s stunning text collage, “Euphoria.”

Amazingly beautiful space! So massive, and a real walk back in time to when life in NYC was very different! Either go to see a performance in the former drill hall, or take a tour of the place, and you will be amazed at the craftsmanship and detail work.

While Euphoria is a movie in fact it is more of a theatrical experience and a very good one. The range of topics it covers is impressive and really well done.

Came for the play Love. Outstanding performance in the perfect venue. You really feel like you’re in the room with the characters. Can’t wait to see another show here.

Rating for Julian Rosefeldt's show - Euphoria. Wow. Powerful, sobering yet hopeful. And the setting is very unique I bet you have never seen a musical like this. Best / most appropriate way to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Adam Smith.

I always love this place. But lately mixed fillings. Something not really pleasant about service. People at the ticket box were rood! Prices at the bar ??? Must be a joke. Strange amount of wine in a plastic cup $10.00 plus tax and fees ???

I watched Icke's adaptation of Oresteia here. The play turned out fantastic, in part due to the scale of the venue, which added drama to a lot of the effects and enabled a lot of interesting interactions. The building interior felt elegant and the staff were courteous and helpful.

Dr Steinbrech is a genius. He has a God-given talent. I liken his artistic skills to Michelangelo. The sculpting techniques he’s used on my body are remarkable!!! I’m so pleased.

A beautiful venue with antique touches and modern finishes. I loved the industrial feel of the bleachers, and the gigantic restroom that easily accommodated the intermission rushes. The creative take on Hamlet was also highly entertaining. My only gripe was the comfort of the chairs; they were pretty unforgiving, so part way through the 3 hour show I started shifting around in discomfort.
