Fantastic pizza! We had read and seen many recommendations for this place as the best and go-to for NY style pizza. We were not disappointed. We both had a slice of Nonna Maria and pepperoni. This will definitely be on our must visit list for our next trip to the city.

Many people consider it the place in New York to taste the most delicious pizza and I would totally agree! It has a wide variety of pizzas and is worth a stop for a slice of pizza. The slices are quite large and filling. It has tables inside to sit. Very polite staff.

I have never in my whole life had a better pizza than this one. We ordered the Nona whole pie pizza. Even the border was crunchy. I have no words that can describe how good this was. Simply delicious.

Great pizza, just don't fold the slice. Crispy base that cracks when you fold it, good flavor and taste for both base and sauce, large number of options including gluten free ones(need to buy full pies though for gluten free), salads, sodas, beer, good amount of indoor seating, $3-$5 per slice. The crust is quite crispy especially towards the end and if you like a soft chewy base, the experience may not be that great. If you like intermediate or crispy base it will be great. I had the pepperoni sausage and grilled mushroom chicken. Pepperoni sausage had a great flavor and taste, not too greasy. The mushrooms in the mushroom chicken didn't have a nice texture but it was overall decent.

My goodness! Loved this place. Came for the gluten free pizza, and it did not disappoint. The pizza was prepared on a special cooking sheet to keep cross contamination from occurring. The mozzarella was fresh and flavorful. The basil just the right pop, and the sauce had a rich tomato taste. Highly recommend the Nona! A small bathroom is available and a large indoor seating area (or small outdoor patio) as well.

Perfection in a pizza slice! Thin, crispy crust. Excellent sauce and cheese. Not overly greasy. Bleecker Street Pizza is as good as it gets. Iconic for a reason and worthy of all its acclaim

Ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza. It was ok. I wanted to try something different, but I think their regular pizzas would have been better. Also, the slice was not piping hot so it did get cold towards the end. Good space for eating inside.

Great pizza in a classic New York style with a thick slab of cheese and a chewy/crispy crust. The Nonna Maria was my favorite, it's really delicious and is a little more similar to pizza you would get in Italy with the tomato and basil. Really friendly staff too 😊👍

One of the best pizzeria in NYC for a variety of different slices and reasonably priced. Bleecker is a West Village institution and famous for their “Nonna Maria” slice. It’s a slice that’s heaven on earth.

I was recommended this place by a friend and YouTube personality as one of the best pizza places in New York, and it certainly blew my mind! Got the pepperoni and sausage slice. Crust is very thin, but sturdy and crispy. All the toppings were very fresh and flavorful. Perfect balance of cheese and tomato. Having tried this and Joe's in NY, I'll probably won't be eating pizza back home anytime in the next 3 months haha.

I would highly recommend the grandma pizza! The crust was delicious, crunchy crust while still being soft. The flavor of the sauce is awesome! The place is small, busy and a little chaotic. Prices are very good $3-5/slice and 2 slices is more than enough.

Had the pepperoni pizza and garlic knots. The pizza was topped with tons of pepperoni which was awesome but I wasn't a huge fan of the crust - a bit too thick for me. The garlic knots though were out of this world! It's good but there's so many other pizza places that I probably won't be back for the pizza but I'm definitely going back for the garlic knots. Yum!

The pizza was money. Classic NY slices. Got a square pepperoni, Nonna Maria, and White slice. All were delicious. Solid 9/10. There is a decent amount of seating both inside and outside. Nothing too fancy, but does the basics right.

As I was taking in the sights and sounds of West Village, I walked by Bleeker St Pizza and there was hardly any line. Normally, that thing is wrapped around the block so I took this as a call from God to pop in. While waiting in the short line with loud hispanic music thumping in my ears and the smell of fresh pizza dough gracing my nostrils, I saw a sign that said "We Love Kobe." Me too Bleeker St, me too. Nothing like some unexpected Kobe love...he really had me practicing post fadeaways in middle school when I was like 5 foot 6 ahahah. (I'm 6'5 now, haha) Anyways, I opted to get a slice of pep ($4.94) and a slice of cheese ($3.64). The 2 slices couldn't have been more different. Like Michael Jackson and Tito Jackson. The cheese was touched by the hand of god, and the pepperoni slice was kind of meh. The cheese slice had that idyllic crispy crust on the bottom and hangtime when you picked it up. You heard the crackle of the crust on every bite. Brings a smile to my face and hunger to my belly just recapping it. One of the best slices I've had in the city. The pep slice was decent, but nothing like that cheese slice. The bottom crust had neither crisp, nor hangtime. I think the cheese was from a pie fresh out of the oven, where the pep slice was reheated. Following the cheese slice, my expectations for the pep were through the roof. I guess this is just another piece of evidence for expectations being the root of all heartache. RIP KOBE! My post fade still buttery! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

It was the perfect way to end our New York visit. Bleecker Street Pizza had amazing reviews on Instagram, and it lived up to the praise. Good New York style Pizza. Light, crisp, and good quality, delicious toppings. We enjoyed a variety of plain white cheese, pepperoni jalapeno, chicken bacon ranch, and the square one with smaller pepperoni. All of them hit the right spot. Glad we came here !

Nonna Maria Pizza is genuinely good. It’s thin, crispy, crunchy, and tasteful. Surely a must try for once at least. Service is quick and there’s a lot of decent seating inside. An affordable place to stop by for a quick slice of delicious pizza. I also saw they had Gluten-free pizza options, which is a great news for GF folks.

We recently went to Bleeker Street on our trip to NYC, our favourite was Nonna Maria - amazing flavour , cheesy and the best marinara sauce ! Loved the crust of the pizza and I asked one of the guys making the pizzas that what do they put at the bottom- he mentioned it’s some of breadcrumb- which makes it super crunchy! Had heard a lot about this place and it lived upto our expectations! We are glad we went! The pepperoni slice was really good too! On our second visit we tried the BBQ one as well but we preferred the nonna Maria (that was more like the traditional one with amazing sauce on top) , also their garlic knots/dough ball was heavenly! They are constantly baking fresh batches of pizzas and we’d seen a lot of deliveries going out as well! We didn’t get any queues ! Must try when in NYC..this was our favourite spot out of all pizza places we tried !

After being told that we had to have pizza when we visited New York, we asked around. Bleeker Street seemed to have a couple of top rated establishments. We picked Bleecker Street Pizza. I ordered a slice of Hawaiian, and my wife ordered a Veggie slice. They dropped them into the pizza oven and handed them out to us a few minutes later. Delicious! I would highly recommend this location.

We went for late night pizza here on a weekend, and the atmosphere is lit. Loud music. The servers have a lot of fun dancing and singing with the guests. The serve your slice hot with a big display glass of all the pies. Decent pizza if you’re tipsy. I got a meat lovers with pepperoni and sausage.

Place was packed and run like a well oiled machine. They took orders and got everyone in and out. Got the grandma style square and regular spinach and mushroom. Both were cooked perfectly and had great taste. Definitely stop by.

Amazing Pizza! Worth the trip. The line was short but there is also indoor/outdoor dining. Pizza goes for 3-4$ a slice. Perfect for the end of a night in the city. Friendly staff and excellent location. No parking. There’s quite a bit of a variety in pizza, I tried the Sicilian and it was delicious. Nice cozy place in the west village!

Al ot of hype behind this pizza shop, and I don't think it lives up to it. This was not the best slice I have ever had, or the best slice in NYC. Visiting from Toronto, Canada. It was very basic but had a lot of good options to choose from, including garlic knots and those look great! The crust on my slice was very good. Super crisp. Pepperoni was pretty standard. All in all, decent experience and worth it for the price point. Left feeling a little disappointed.

We stopped in on a wet cold night and the pizza turned everything around - great selection and even better taste - nice option to try a few. We had the cheese and BBQ chicken - both were amazing. The only issue is the cleanliness of the washroom, but the pizza itself was outstanding!

Visited in July 2019 on y first trip to NYC. With only three nights there, I had to make the most of my time and experiences. I was told this was a must try spot for great NYC style pizza. I was not disappointed! Wanting to take in as much as I could, as I waited for a pie from another spot around the corner, I ventured into the place, where you have a huge selection of different types of pizza by the slice. I asked what the best one was for the true NYC experience and was guided to try the Nonna Maria. Man, so good! I can't wait to go back again and try some of the other slices they offer!

The Pizza was great. Looks avg but the New York style flavor is all there. I enjoy coming here. Quick stop spot to grab a couple slices and go. Or you can sit and enjoy yourself. The food is great and if you're looking for an example of great NY pizza I'd say this is a good place to start

The best pizza I have ever had. hands down. the sauce is light and flavorful, and the crust is so light but packs a punch. Nonna Maria was outstanding. I will try more the next time I go. but wow cannot overstate how good this pizza is.

Easily top 2 pizza spots in NYC. Pizza by the slice was fantastic. Recommend Pepperoni chicken. Dining area shared with storage and trash. Great pizza, but alley atmosphere.

This place easily deserves 5 stars, service, food, prices and atmosphere are all great. The nonna Maria and jalapeño pizzas were my favourite, we also had the garlic bites which were delicious and I highly recommend too. I saw that this place had a lot of hype so I wasn’t sure if it was just a tourist trap, but after visiting I can 100% say it’s worth the visit! The crust was perfect and had generous toppings too.

I got the peperoni and marinara sicillian slices. They were both ok but pretty soft/soggy. Definitly not for me. I prefer a bit of a crunch to my pizza crust but this kinda just tasted like bread. The peperoni was also soggy instead of crispy like i expect from this kind of curly peperoni. The marinara slice was pretty bland as well.

Classic NYC pizza experience in the West Village. We had the Nona pizza, which surpassed expectations. Perfect crust. The tomatoes and sauce were amazing. They do have a small seating area. Bleeker Street Pizza is worth a trip. Top notch.

We got a cheese slice. The sauce to cheese ratio was quite proportional. The price was also not too bad - $4 a slice. It was a spacious place with multiple seating arrangements. And was clean too. Would recommend if you are in Greenwich Village and would like to grab something on go.

Had to try this classic pizza spot. I tried a slice of pepperoni and a slice of the Nonna Maria. Great crunch to the pizza and great flavor to the sauce. Both slices were great. Nice atmosphere and service. The two slices, a couple of garlic knots and a soda was $14.

Potentially the best pizza I've EVER had! We went in the afternoon and it was really quiet with plenty of different pizza slices available. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Bleecker street pizza is a great stop for slices. They have really good thin pizza. It's cheesier than in some other places I've tried, and the flavor itself is really good. The crust was crispy in the right places, and we really enjoyed it. I've also had their white slice before, and it was really good as well. I recommend coming here to try out the regular cheese.

Stopped in as part of a food tour (Greenwich Village by Nice Guy Tours). Had what was a half slice of margherita pizza, and it was excellent! Will have to come back to have a full slice :)

My wife loves this place. We ordered nonna and regular. Slice had little sag but overall flavor was great!

  • 4/5 Eitan B. 1 year ago on Google
We really like the pizza! Supposedly one of the best in the city but who am I to judge. I should say I didn't really love their crust, I think it was too hard and tasteless but since the slices are big most of the pizza was the good part which was really good and greasy like NY pizza should be. I also got a garlic knot which was nothing special, stick to the pizzas.

  • 5/5 Yong T. 2 years ago on Google
Best pizza I ever had. Fresh tomato chicken pizza tastes so unique, pizza crust is crispy, even kids love it. The sauce for garlic bread is full of tomato flavor.

Amazing pizza and super nice man that turned us onto the Margarita pizza 🍕 so glad because it’s amazing.

This was our 2nd pizza place in NYC, and it was good! Tomato mozzarella was great, very thin crispy, crunch, well-toasted crust, fresh tomato, and great texture of strings of mozzarella cheese. However, the one with pepperoni was a bit soggy and less crispy. Nice place to grab a quick meal.

First time to New York and wanted to find the best Pizza place. I tried out 3 places that were highly suggested. This was hands down the best pizza I’ve every had. I now know I never knew what pizza was until I had their pizza. The crust is crispy and the cheese and sauce were on point. I will definitely visit again when I come back!!!

  • 5/5 G G. 2 years ago on Google
Hands down best pizza in all of New York City! The crust is made to have the most perfect crunch and the garlic knots are soft and not dry like other places. Absolutely delicious, you will not regret it!

  • 5/5 Julian S. 2 months ago on Google • 14 reviews New
This is THE New York style pizza. Crispy, full feeling dough, fresh ingredients, gooey cheese, heart sauce, toppings, sauces, condiments, side of garlic rolls, spades, water, plenty of seating. Fair price for a couple of hefty slices that left me craving it for days after. Might make the pilgrimage back to pizza Mecca just for another slice with some pineapple. They just don’t make it like this anywhere else. Good pizza, dough tossed up right there in front of you. Hot out the oven. Don’t sleep !

  • 4/5 Eric F. 2 years ago on Google
I had slices of pepperoni, Buffalo chicken, and Sicilian. All good, similar to most NYC pizza, maybe (other than the Sicilian) a little thinner crust. Unimportant, but I was surprised that when I asked for tap water, they replied bottled only. First time I've encountered that at a sit-down meal in NYC.

Bleecker Street Pizza is literally the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Hands down, no question. The BEST. Crispy crust, amazing sauce, fresh ingredients. My best friends from my childhood were visiting from Arizona and we stopped in for a couple slices. They were also blown away. One of the best parts was chatting with Greg, “semi-retired owner.” Greg was a super gracious host. Obviously proud of what his brother had originally started many years ago. All the employees were wonderful. I can’t wait to go back!!

  • 5/5 Tim W. 2 years ago on Google
This is this pizza you’re looking for if you want the classic NYC pie experience. The slices are massive and very reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and pleasant. Loved the diner feel and outdoor seating.

  • 5/5 Vedang G. 2 years ago on Google
The best pepperoni pizza I've ever had in my life. Great choice of other pizzas as well. Highly recommend this place since it totally lives up to the hype. You can get a slice for a reasonable price and it tastes heavenly. The location is also decent.

  • 5/5 Jason C. 5 months ago on Google
Best slice pizza in town! No wait, quick, and delicious! Want a quick bite in the village? This is the place and would be one of the best slices you ever had!

  • 5/5 Bung D. 1 year ago on Google
We got the Nonna Maria via door dash and requested for the other half to be regular cheese since we wana try both. They accommodated my requests which i noted down on the app. Even the extra box for left overs. Despite this pizza being delivered it was still warm when we got it. I liked that the crust was still crunchy when you bite. So i get why its one of the best 🍕 in NYC! Next time when there is no heat wave i do hope we can try it on the store!
