First visit to this branch, after going to the midtown one several times. The place doesn’t have the same atmosphere as the other one, but the food is really delicious. We had a porterhouse along with the duck fat roasted potatoes and creamed spinach. The 24 layer chocolate cake is just perfection, sp make sure you have room for it (doggy bags are also available, it’s big!)

Came here for my birthday dinner and it was a very nice experience. The hostess was welcoming from the moment we stepped in and acknowledged that this was a birthday celebration. My one comment is that the tables are VERY close together, so it was easy to eavesdrop on the conversations that were happening next to us. That was my only one real complaint. Service was also a bit spotty during the dinner, especially towards the end. My 14oz aged rib eye was so delicious and cooked to perfection. The bacon was also very delicious but I really wish it was crisper on the outside. Sauce was dynamite though. For dessert we ordered the Baked Alaska, which we absolutely LOVED. A lot of depth of flavor to that dessert. Would absolutely come back!

Strip House Steakhouse is a true gem. Their straightforward yet impressive menu, extensive wine selection, and delectable appetizers and sides set the stage for an exceptional meal. The dry-aged porterhouse for two and New York strip were cooked to perfection, and the service was attentive. The classic New York ambiance adds to the charm. Highly recommended; I'll be returning for sure.

Superb experience at Strip House! Excellent, attentive service. Delicious food - the apps and sides in particular stood out. The steaks were par for the course for an upper tier steakhouse - I had the filet and enjoy every bite. Simple seasoning did wonders! Make sure to save room for the signature chocolate cake! It’s ENORMOUS!!

Stopped in here with a buddy of mine for a few old fashioned. Jason the bartender provided excellent drinks and dinner suggestions even though we just came from dinner. In doing such he got the enzymes going and well, my buddy and I ended up splitting a 14oz ribeye and the 1000 slice potatoes. Both were amazing and exactly what we needed. All the food was cooked to perfection. I appreciate the service and quality of food!

We've tried a lot of steak houses around the city. We tried Strip House for the first time and it immediately became our favourite steak house! Our whole experience was memorable. The exceptional service from our server, our water glasses were never empty, the appetizers and meal were timed perfectly, the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Initially I thought the tables were too close to each other with no privacy to talk but we became fast friends with the couple seated next to us which added to our experience when our server was making jokes and we ended up in conversation with 3 tables. The whole atmosphere and vibe at strip house was amazing and judging by the conversation with the other patrons who frequent strip house, this experience wasn't a one off. This is the standard at strip house. Definitely coming back! Thank you for making our anniversary extra special.

One of my favorite upscale steak and seafood restaurants. I've been here for birthdays and celebrations and the excellent service remains consist. The food simply melts in your mouth! The scenery gives a romantic setting for couples. The wine selection is very large with various types!

Remarkable services and food was cooked to perfection. Seen in pictures is their special 40oz Tomahawk steak for two. Ambiance of the store was perfect for a date, and the decor on the wall of famous elites from actors and actress to sopranos of opera was the perfect statement pieces to enjoy a dinner.

A very cool place, has a great atmosphere, feels old-school but more upbeat than Peter Lugers for example. Yes not cheap but never felt like anything didn't deserve it's cost (Bacon maybe, but even then it was really good). Wine is solid too. Had a really enjoyable evening!

Entering the speakeasy you notice only a few tables in a dimly lit area that smells fantastic. We had a party of 18 people and they handled us very well. Everyone got their drinks and food correctly. NY strip was perfectly cooked and the sides were creamed spinach, potatoes and giant asparagus. Prices are a bit high but the service and food were well worth it. Dessert included their famous 24 layer chocolate cake which was divine and indulgent. Overall an amazing steak house. A must visit.

Came here with my girlfriend and had a good time. The food was overall pretty good, but the service was a little slow. It was busy and we were kind of put in the corner so I understand. The banana pudding, gnocchi and the mule were amazing. My girlfriend got the filet and enjoyed it.

Yes the porterhouse is amazing but I also enjoyed their giant pretzel bread stick. If I weren’t so full I would’ve asked for second serving. Please try the cheddar spinach. Absolutely delicious. The only knock is wine list that is a bit too dear, so watch out if you are a heavy drinker.

the vibes are VERY very good, but i didn’t think the food was anything super special. the steak was okay — we shared NY strip, ribeye, & filet, and i wasn’t super impressed 😅 maybe i’m a salt addict but it also just didn’t taste seasoned. tuna tartare & bacon were decent. the fries lowkey tasted overcooked id probably skip the asparagus and mushrooms next time. the pretzel bread was amazing though disclaimers are i came here with someone who has been like 80 times and loves this place to death, so i had pretty high expectations. bavettes in chicago has also increased my steak standards id come here again for the vibes

Pleasant. Coat check available upon entry, fast seating, knowledgeable to the point server. All things I love. The food was exceptional, and I loved the wine list. Family oriented with plenty restrooms available.

The steak here truly is superior. Always highest quality and cooked to exactly your liking. They do the classics perfectly, like creamed spinach, whipped potatoes, shrimp cocktail. The staff is extremely professional while also being friendly, and the space has just the right old school vibe. Cocktails are reliable and good. The only two strikes against it are the booths, in which way too many tables of two are crammed in. You’re on top of each other. Plus, the bench is in need of an update because you sink so far down. The other thing is the wine list. Obviously there’s a large markup, like everywhere else, but this feels excessive for what’s a pretty basic wine list. They’re even selling Duckhorn for $130. We’ve been on a tear of eating at higher end restaurants because of people visiting us, and this was the only place that didn’t have decent options under $100. Seems to need an overhaul. Or maybe it’s purposeful since the business and BNT crew is willing to pay it?

We ate downstairs in the speakeasy and the food was excellent! Nicely laid out and didn't get too loud. I couldn't have the baked Alaska, but it looked amazing!

Strip house steak restaurants are great. The difference is service. I need to take a moment to rave about a bartender Ardi. He is as good as it gets! He will do anything to accommodate you, beyond knowledgeable. Thank you for such a pleasurable experience - you're a credit to Strip House! Please look for him when you get a chance to dine or drink here. He is an absolute gem!

Review is solely on the famous 24 layer chocolate cake. A single slice can truly feed 4 people. It’s huge in size. The top layer frosting is also very nice. Overall the interior frosting could use a little work. But in America everything is big and grand. Beautiful and historical establishment and fun to try the novelty of this famous cake.

Steak houses can be hard for groups who are not all wine-drinking steak lovers. This location, though, took care of our party with a variety of options (many ate excellent steaks and others enjoyed a fantastic sea bass), and they smartly offered non-alcoholic beer from Athletic brewing. Sides were tasty, service was good (and included a brief history of the restaurant), vibe was chill enough to enjoy yourself even if you're not a finance bro.

Brendan (our server) was fantastic! We were in NY to celebrate our honeymoon and the ambiance and service did not disappoint. Our table was the best in the house, we were given complimentary champagne to start our meal & Brendan offered help with the menu. After our meal we asked out the lounge and Brendan took time out to not only show us the lounge but also give us the wonderful history of the building. It made our experience more magical. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone who loves good steak, service and atmosphere.

Pretty interesting older restaurant with old "stars" on the wall. They have the best prezel bread, that they will bring more out if you request it. We all liked our meals, but thought the filet minion and the new York strip were the best. I would definitely come back again.

I went there for restaurant week with my friends. We loved the ambience, service, and the food was amazing. It was Tuesday so there were not many people so we didn't feel rushed and enjoyed our time together. We ordered from the restaurant week menu. Food was really delicious and it was enough. We thought the steak was on a small side but we were satisfied after we finished all 3 courses. I had tuna, steak and their famous chocolate cake, and espresso martini. Pictures are included.

Love the dim lighting and ambiance, and the staff was very nice, but found the food and sangria just average, and a bit over priced, especially for the portions. Dessert was very good. Still a good deal for restaurant week!

Always a staple in my year, you can always guarantee the food is excellent and service witty but elegant. I recently visited the Speakeasy with a few friends. As usual the food was superb, steak perfect. Sides could have been hotter and not such a wait in between courses would be the only two oppurtunities. Service was awesome, she lit up the room and made you feel at home. Also, I would have loved for this to be a bit more "speakeasy" like, it's more of a little restaurant downstairs from the actual restaurant. I liked the experience but would probably go back the "real" thing rather then the basement.

It was really packed when we went for dinner so it was hard to have a proper dining experience with the noise, music, etc. Steak was good. Liked the Mac & cheese. Decent wine selection.

I had the mac and cheese from here. It was a takeaway and it was absolutely delicious! I am British so mac and cheese is NOWHERE near as big in the UK as it is here in the US. However this was SO good! I do have to take off one star, not because of the long wait but because of the lack of communication about the fact that it was going to take so long! I know I should've asked but I did not realize that it would take so long. If it was up to me though, I would not be taking off 1 star, I would be taking off 1/2 a star. The staff were nice and, once again, DELICIOUS mac and cheese!

Came here for my wedding anniversary. The ambiance was nice. The server was attentive and pleasant. The steaks were really good, with a hard sear and inside perfectly cooked. And the dessert, the 24 layer chocolate cake, was rich and delicious.

Had a wonderful experience with my Wife for our 1 year wedding anniversary, the food and atmosphere was wonderful! Will definitely be coming back! The staff was very kind and made our night memorable. Vaccine Card is required and a reservation is recommended. Thank you all so again so much!

The speakeasy had a really nice atmosphere, very upscale with really friendly staff. The steak was very juicy and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Drinks were very good, too.

This place is amazing. Perfectly cooked prime beef with old school charm and great cocktails. We go there every time we visit the city. Best steakhouse we've found by far. Outshines Peter Lugers and Benjamin Steakhouse by far in my opinion.

Loved it! The server and bartender were perfect and oh lord the food. We needed up getting the 40 oz tomahawk special and it was freaking wonderful. Couldn’t have expected a better dish. The sides were great as well. They have some pretty classic and also really original drink choices. Be prepared to spend some money, but just know it will 100% be worth it

Nice restaurant, was a bit crowded when I went. Tables are close to each other to accommodate more people. Waiter took a while to come to take our order. Once he did though, everything went smooth. Food was good. Was told the steak taste really good with the black truffle butter (I don’t eat red meat). The salmon was good but I wasn’t a fan of the pumpkin purée with the seeds. Would have rather mashed potatoes instead. Lobster shells and cheese was good. Overall the place and food was decent. Oh and they definitely make a good Moscow mule!

Food was good but not worth it. I went for resteraunt week and everything was extra. 24 layer cake was great but it's definetly for 2 to 3 people so don't order 2! Steak was cooked well but not too exciting

Amazing ambiance / environment and great service. Just make sure you like Pittsburgh style steaks. Very salty crust. Creamed spinach and strip house potatoes were very good.

  • 5/5 Shere S. 2 years ago on Google
The star of the night was the 14oz dry aged strip. Also got the tuna tartare app and the roasted bacon to start. Came here with a group of friends and the ambiance was an old school speakeasy vibe.

Great steak ordered bone in ribeye and oysters with some old fashioned. Drink wasn’t good but the steak was awesome and servers were friendly. Romantic vibe

  • 5/5 John C. 2 years ago on Google
The most amazing ribeye I have ever eaten in my 49 years of life. Side dishes were very good, but it was difficult to remember them as the steak was so out of this world amazing. Hyperbole justified.

A fun steakhouse with friendly service, great food and a cool atmosphere. If you're looking for a fun place to eat a steak with a great old-school kind of steakhouse vibe - then Strip House is a great option.
