My clients wanted Greek food so picked this spot. I called in my order to a really sweet lady. She was very kind and called me by name when she seen my name on the caller id. I ordered different items and picked the shrimp souvlaki pita for myself. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and the lady knew who I was. She went to pack the food and came back and I paid. It came to about $65. When I got in I ate and the pita was very good. The shrimp was seasoned so well. I will definitely return and had a really good experience.

Was about to walk into Mob Burger next door but decided I should eat healthier. Made the right he decision. Sparta Tavern is clean, friendly and the food is amazing. Got the Georges Salad and gyro sandy and it was delicious. Orange Greek soda on the side.

Sparta Taverna’s food is a feast for the eyes! We just enjoyed a delicious lunch with our colleagues. Always fast and friendly delivery. Their menu is extensive! Highly recommend.

This is one of the best restaurants that I've ever been to. The staff is awesome. They are friendly and call you by name and remember your orders each time. The pitas are incredible and from start to finish you really appreciate the experience. Great food for the value. If you haven't tried it you're missing out.

This place is a gem. The food is great, but more importantly, the staff are the kindest, friendliest, and most welcoming people I’ve met since moving to NJ three years ago. They knew my name and order after visiting just twice, and they go out of their way to let you know you’re not just an order to them. For example, they hand-draw cartoons with messages of positivity and kindness on each of their takeout bags at the start of each day. It’s just a small gesture, but it shows the level of care they take in making their guest feel welcome and cared for.

Tried this place for the first time and blew my expectations away. The 2 ladies at the front were so nice and friendly. The food was the a perfect 10/10 and the order size was also large. Can’t get any better than this place

We have been ordering from here for years! Usually their food is on point. This last time we ordered the blandest food ever, but okay we ate it because we bought it already. We ordered the Greek salad, gyro meat and chicken skewers. Worst mistake ever! My husband and me are in the hospital with the worst food poisoning of our lives. Unless you are looking for an extra big medical bill I suggest not eating here. Wish I could report them to health services and get my medical bill paid for this!

I’ve ordered takeout several times and it’s always amazing. I like to get the Chicken Souvlaki and Greek Salad. Honestly, all of their salads are so good and refreshing. Greek fries are also delicious. The motivational quotes on the bags are the best! 10/10

One of the best meals I have EVER had! Staff were incredibly friendly and the food was just excellent! I’m only here for a few days, but I will certainly come back before we leave!❤️

The dolmas are absolutely incredible, the lamb is spiced to perfection. The tzatziki is yummy. The Baba ghanoush is excellent. The wraps are amazing. They are always on time for deliveries and the food is exceptional! This is the ONLY GREEK food place that exists in my opinion. I had to rate three stars for atmosphere because I never stepped foot in here so that I could not say but if considering greek this is it! Look no further!!

This place has great food. I wish I could speak to more of the menu... But the gyro is so good that I never even want to try anything else. Grape leaves and hummus are also good. Good pita. I would put this gyro up against any other gyro I've had in north Jersey. Service is always very friendly. They draw on your to-go bag which is a cute little touch! The worst thing about this place is the parking isn't the easiest. Best option is to park on the side street and walk over. Not a big deal. I have never dined in, always do take out.

I’ve only ever had pleasant experiences here. To start, the food is amazing, the ingredients are always fresh and the pita tastes like it was made within minutes of being put on your plate. Their portions are abundant, leaving you feeling light and healthy, but full. Every time i’ve gone to eat, their staff has treated me like family. I highly recommend the greek nachos and sparta gyro pita sandwich. If you’ve never been here, it is 100% worth a try. I will def be back soon

My family loves Sparta. The food is delicious and portions are huge with fair prices. The menu has lots of variety & everyone has something they like. Delivery is quick and efficient. The best part is the notes of positivity on the receipt & the lollipops!! Sparta is a welcomed different (not pizza or Chinese) restaurant in town.

We walked in, only one other table was taken at the time. Erica our server was very helpful in navigating their extensive menu and taking our drink orders. A server then brought out a mint hummus and it was fresh and delicious. I started with a salad and a Spicy chicken wrap with fries. It was really good and if I can I'll come back to try something else. Thank you!

This place is amazing. Brought the whole family(7 of us) and everything we ordered was amazing. From the house dips, salads, fries and the amazing braised lamb shank it was delicious. But even more so amazing was the customer service. Our host/waitress so kind and attentive to our family, especially our kids. This is my first time providing a review on a restaurant just to emphasize how great it was.

Food is wonderful and authentic. Skewers are big and juicy, salads fresh and tasty. Best hummus and tzatziki around. The staff is super friendly too.

I ordered take out here for the first time and everything was great. I placed my order online and the ordering and payment process was fast and convenient. The food was good. I did not enjoy my appetizer, but this was my first time ordering from here so I’ll try a different app from the menu next time. My Greek wrap was great. I’ve never had a wrap with fries inside of it. It was unique. The best part of my order was the friendless of the staff when I picked up the food. The woman at the front counter was friendly and she left a cute note on my receipt. It’s always nice to encounter friendly and polite employees. I recommend you give this place a try. I would definitely order from this place again. 👍😊
