This is a great experience for anyone. I recommend buying tickets online and ahead of time (a few weeks before) The food is great (only thing I did not like too much was dessert, which was vanilla ice cream with caramel on top. Besides that the meal itself is very tasty. The service is great and the show is very entertaining. I recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before, the lines get long and the parking lot fills up. The stadium is bigger than what you expect 🙂 They had some distancing for Covid, which is good. I was so glad that they had hard working employees who helped you find your seat because it can get confusion. Will return in the future.

Such an excellent, fun experience! The food was actually much better than I had anticipated. The tomato bisque was amazing, the chicken was moist, and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned! The show was so entertaining, and our knight (the red knight!) really got the crowd into it and made it so much fun! Take note that they do not supply silverware, but you can request it from your server if you would like some. The alcoholic drinks are expensive, you can buy a whole bottle of wine for $25 which is by far the best deal! Overall, my family and I had a blast and definitely will be returning!

I had my nephew visiting town and since he doesn't speak perfect English, this is one of the shows I thought he would enjoy the most given its a visual show, not so much of a story. Don't get me wrong, there's a story but pretty straight forward plus I was narrating to him. I'll suggest you to arrive to the place 45 minutes before the show starts. Also I must say service was pretty incredible, everyone very attentive and sweet. Oh and I was really not expecting much of the food but I was so wrong! Everything was exquisite! The chicken was very well seasoned as well as the potatoes. Was really good! I enjoyed and probably would visit again. Great show to take to someone who English is not their first language as it's a visual show more than anything.

Food and service was good. Show was good as well. Gave it a lower rating only because of how the seating was. I had good seats BUT anytime someone in the row had to go to the bathroom or anything most of us had to get up and move so that person could get out and then get up and move again when they came back. That became an issue after getting up almost 10 plus times during the show... spent over $200 with upgrades for 2 seats.... Not worth it with having to get up a few times during the show. The way the seats are done should be better thought out, because this shouldnt be an issue, but it is. I even heard a couple sitting in the row behind complaing about the same thing.

The Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is a world renowned show that features a tournament of knights that compete in a multitude of events ranging from jousting, sword and hand to hand combat, and amazing horsemanship. During the show, guests are served an exquisite four course feast. In December of 2018, I brought and treated my wife and myself to the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament and we very much enjoyed our time and experience. Both my wife and I were graciously welcomed and warmly treated by the staff. We also very much loved the show!!! Our favorite parts of the show were the lance jousting sequence, the thrilling sword combat and the beautiful medieval pageantry. In addition to loving the show, both my wife and I found our four course meal to be perfectly cooked, well seasoned and delightfully delicious!!! If you and your family are looking to view a thrilling adventure while enjoying a delicious meal, then definitely make sure to visit the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. You’ll have an unforgettable experience!!!

First time ever going here and I absolutely loved it! Everything was wonderful from the staff,to the food and drinks. The show was great you really get into to it. Makes you feel like a kid again honestly! Will be going back again!

I really enjoyed our visit. We were 6 adults, my 2 children and their wives. The show was entertaining, a bit predictable, but entering non the less. Dinner was good. Eating with your fingers was a little interesting for some in the group but we all enjoyed the dinner anyway. I have been here almost 18 years ago with my kids and I can say going with them as adults was a lot more fun! We drank out of our drink horns and had a blast rooting for the Black and White night. Can't wait to go back. I would recommend a visit. One last thing, they do sell adult beverages but you better be ready for the prices. It was shocking what they were charging. The gift shop was more reasonably priced than the beverages.

I enjoyed the experience much more than I thought I would. The food was actually good, so I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks were great- with souvenir cup options. The show was entertaining and really got the crowd going. The servers were friendly and attentive! I definitely recommend going at-least once.

Has this been around forever? Yes. But honestly, everything you think of is completely incorrect. It could be a goofy show for some, but it's actually really well done. There's a fun story, there's really well choreographed stage fighting, there's amazing horse riding and horse showing. It's an amazing amount of showmanship and display that goes into this. The food was a lot better than I thought it was going to be! And the service was fantastic. I was genuinely surprised to hear that some of the servers had been there for more than a decade. That's the sign of a good workplace. Everyone was hooting and hollering and having a great time. Again, we were a little skeptical and went there for the sheer. I can't believe I'm doing this factor, but we were genuinely pleased and surprised. We left being big fans of this place. In fact, we were wondering if the shows were different because we would like to come back. Definitely worth the price, especially for a fun night out. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful time. Food was okay. Chicken was a little dry and corn on cob was soggy. Tomato soup was delicious. Our server, Alli was great. She acknowledged my birthday with a rousing cheer!! The star of the experience is the show! Very entertaining. My kids went home with hoarse voices from cheering so much.

Awesome adventure with dinner and a show included. The green knight was awesome and my princess was very pleased with the experience. The Queen was a very gorgeous woman and the staff were the best. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting such an awesome experience and the food was great. I truly recommend this place and I will definitely return soon.

An amazing experience for both adults and kids alike! The viewpoint you see is from the Queens Royalty package (which is basically an extra $25 per ticket); you can check the FAQs on their website to see what it includes, but I felt it was money well spent. The food was surprisingly delicious (not pictured is the tomato soup, garlic bread, and mini sundae), and it was filling. Beers were ok, but kinda lame (to each their own... I opted for the Coors Light). Overall, I would definitely recommend MT as a date night, birthday celebration, or just a night out with the family. I went to the 8pm show on a Saturday, but it didn't feel packed. Get there early, since the line starts to get long about half an hour before doors open.

Such a great experience! I've been wanting to go since I found out about it in the early 90s. Nearly 30 years later I finally made it! We had a very rowdy section and it made it so enjoyable. The show was great fun to watch (even though our knight lost), and the food was surprisingly good! You eat with your hands, there is no silverware which is actually more fun than you think it sounds. The staff is great as well. Very helpful, and our waitress was a lot of fun as well, and very kind. If you have the opportunity to go, I highly recommend it!

Really fun environment. The actors are awesome and the story is easy to follow. Our server was especially wonderful and was busting her butt the entire time. I’m giving 3 stars for a few separate things. We had queens royalty VIP and it was definitely not worth it. There was no priority seating, they just let everyone in at once. The front row seats for some of the colors (I was in red) are really not great for where most of the action takes place. Most of the show was trying to watch what was happening to my far right. The higher vantage point seats would have been much better. I thought it included a piece of cake, but I guess that’s only the lesser royalty plans? For $25 extra/pp I’d say just go with general admission. The food pretty much tasted straight from the grocery store. Like a dry rotisserie chicken, mini corn on the cob, and tomato soup straight from the can. The eclair dessert was most definitely thawed from frozen. The last thing is by no means meant to say they mistreat any animals, quite the opposite it seems like they take great care of their animals, but watching horses be whipped to do tricks that are obviously not normal moves horses do felt uncomfortable for a 2023 audience. It seemed like a lot of the audience felt the same since no one was really clapping or cheering during those parts of the show. In general, I think it’s a great experience, especially for kids.

Great time, definitely upgrade to the Royalty package so you sit 1st or 2nd row and possibly center stage (plus free photo and flag/banner). Show up early, but be patient regarding parking as spots are limited. Alcohol prices are good if you simply opt to get a whole bottle of wine. For the gift shop it's $30 for the XL light up sword, no need to buy larger banner if you get Royalty package. Great time for group of adults or with kids.

It was my first time here celebrating a friend’s birthday. I’ve been going to Renaissance faires for over a decade, so I definitely appreciate the subject matter and general vibe. Food was plentiful, service was impeccable, acting and action was fun and engaging. Horses were lovely and the falcon was captivating. Would definitely go back in the future. Huzzah!

Had a great time with my hubby. Great idea for a date night or family time. The alcohol is expensive though. I think you're paying for the cups. We ordered the large beer and it was almost $30. The tomato soup, chicken with corn and potato were tasty. You can choose from coke, diet coke, water or lemonade. They also give you vanilla ice cream and coffee. They require masks and assign your seats which I appreciated.

Medieval Times is an entertaining show with a royal flair. From the pleasant staff greeting you as they hand you a paper crown to your champion knight tossing flowers to the crowd, the experience is fun, light-hearted and joyous. The food is surprisingly good too. I wish the sound system was better and some of the hoaky fight moves are a little much at times, but all the little bits add to the overall wonderful event.

We had such a fun time! I highly recommend taking your family for this amazing experience! To top it off our youngest daughter (9) was chosen as the Queen of the tournament by our Red Knight. We went to the last show of the evening so we got to meet all of the Knights as well as the queen! Everyone was so amazing to or five children! The Red knight was absolutely sweet and chivalrous. He autographed the kids banners and our photos. Everyone stayed in character and made it a fabulous experience! The souvenir drink glasses and refills are reasonable. My husband and I loved getting the Queens special for the evening which was a bottle of wine and two souvenir hurricane glasses for $35 I believe. The kids all had some Frosty frozen drinks non-alcoholic from the bar and got to keep their hurricane glasses. The food is perfectly seasoned and delicious! Even my picky children enjoyed it! You can ask for utensils if you need them and they offer vegetarian options as well. Our server was so very sweet and perfectly in character!

Experience was surprisingly great! This was our first time going to this place and it didn't dissapoint! Food was excellent (I loved the fact that you're transported to that era, so you have to eat with your hands😂😂, although they have utensils per request). Our waiter was very attentive and the whole atmosphere was top notch!👍👍👍 I would have loved if more people dressed up for the ocassion👸🏻👸🏻👸🏻👸🏻 The show was super entertaining and my kids loved it too!! We loved the place!

Entertaining show. We brought our 7, 5, and 2 year old. All were entertained and enjoyed the show. Get there at least 30 min before show starts. Line looks long but goes quickly. Chicken was good! No utensils but part of experience.

Very fun & exciting experience! Brought my 8 year old, 12 yr old and 2 yr old and everyone had a blast! Lively show, good food and tons of photo ops. The knighting ceremony is worth it and made my son's day! A lil pricey, but a once in a while special treat or celebration it's worth it! Made lasting memories!

Food was good. It would have been nice to have more than corn offered and I wasn't too impressed with the dessert. Show was great and the actors really put their best effort. We got to take pictures with the knights afterwards. Our wench Brittany made the night go smoothly. I will be wearing my crown for a very long time and wave our red and yellow flag.

Extraordinary place, The Service of the BEST, I was assisted by the server Ever Blanco in a professional manner with the best disposition and availability effectively. The very interesting recreational educational show transports me to medieval times in addition to expanding my knowledge of general culture. The delicious food. You can come to the sand with your family, with your partner or alone, excellent place.

This place is a gem! A super cool and fun experience at the medieval times! The event is about two hours long and very historical. The dinner is chicken. And the chicken is cooked and seasoned well! The show is well made and it’s entertaining for kids and adults.

Loved everything. Decor. Atmosphere. Employees in character. Love the merchandise, the horses, and the show. Great energy. Great food and plenty of it! Our drink was accidentally spilled by waiter (we are all human) but he was so accommodating to get a replacement and even an extra dessert. Remember to tip! I've been to the location in Disney too and consistent on quality. 10 stars!! The mentioning of my man's birthday was sweet too. Included in celebration package, with good seats, separated parties and covid accommodation.

This was a nice show. We got there about 20 minutes after the show. They had taken at all the plates of people that did show up by our server, Rafael, was very nice and professional and made sure e had all our food promptly. The show was energizing, loud and packed with people. The gift shops had reasonable priced toys for kids and some real authentic swords for adults. We had a good time and will probably go back in a couple of years when our baby is older.

We came back to Medieval Times (last time we went was 2013) and loved the experience! The food was amazing and the waitress was attentive. We had the VIP package and had our own front row seats to ourselves. I did notice some changes like more horses but other than that, I highly recommend!

Went there last week with the whole family. It's definitely different, but not my jam. I was happy to see my younger sibling enjoy it so much as well as my cousin. It's a good family outing, but only for 1 time. It's very cheesy, but I'm pretty sure it's for kids, so I can't complain. They had vegan options, so that's a plus

This place is fun. I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday here. Quickly, the drinks are reasonably priced. If you are a wine drinker it is best to buy the bottle for $25 because a glass of wine is $11. The vegan option was really good and it comes with forks and spoons. They normally want you to eat with your hands.. The chicken, potatoes and corn are pretty standard. The highlight is the atmosphere and the service. Watching the people perform and the crowd going crazy is really fun. Also paying the gratuity up front makes it much easier.

We went twice this summer and it was a great time! Our son wanted to go back for his birthday and even got knighted! Everyone went above and beyond. The food was great and the staff did such a good job, despite the challenges of Covid. The horses are absolutely amazing and it is apparent how meticulously cared for and well-trained they are! It’s apparent how much effort goes into the show. This is a fun time for the whole family and we can’t wait to go back!

Wasn’t sure if I would like this place or not. I ended up loving it!!! Seriously questioning if I would have been an avid fan of tournaments during olden days. The mead is fantastic! It wasn’t uncomfortably crowded. Even though the fighting scenes could have been diversified a little more in the beginning the sparks from the swords really kept me enthralled. The food wasn’t bad! I wasn’t crazy about the dessert because it tasted store bought. The chicken was falling off the bone! I would have lived just a little more food to be honest but not bad! The bath room line moved quickly, it’s easy to step over tour seat and go to the exit which I appreciated. I really hate having to ask everyone to stand to exit a row so this was perfect for me!

What a great show! If you’re looking for a fun date night or want to hang out with some friends. Eat decent food and have drinks while watching some live jousting, Medieval Times is the place for you. Haven’t been in years but the location is updated, taking credit cards for almost everything from drinks to merchandise. Sadly no t shirts but we did get some cool flags and great souvenir cups that light up. The show is exactly 2 hours long from your showtime and is incredibly organized from entrance to exit. Ample parking and a quick drive in from the GSP.

Fun, fun, fun. You should feel free to stomp your feet and feast! The food is surprisingly delicious. No forks or knives ( unless you ask). Story telling feels compelling, cheer for colored faction. Pricey ticket, but by the end of the night you would have forgotten how much you spent.

WOW! Is all I can say! What I expected going on and what I experienced is two different things. We all remember seeing the commercials for Medieval Times when we were kids and it's something that I wanted to experience as an adult. From the moment you step into the place, You're amazed. They speak in old medieval English, I was knighted by the queen, My wife and I had our picture taken and There are several souvenir shops, even with real swords. Perfect place to bring the family. It's not just for kids. They have a full bar! They have themed houses based upon the ticket you purchased. The food was EXCELLENT! Definitely worth the time and money. Will definitely go back and take my nephew next time.

Had a wonderful night and experience here, the last fight scene seemed to be the best. they were really into it which made the experience even more enjoyable. They were very generous with the pour for drinks, ( they are measured don't worry ). Food was delicious, especially the potato! Our knight sucked but hopefully you get a better one haha. Also the Queen was amazing love it !

Party of 9...and we all had a great time. Grab a cocktail beforehand. The show was very entertaining, however the good "fighting" was really only the last 30 minutes. Fun plot and solid acting. The food was surprisingly good...much better than expected. Definitely definitely bring plastic cutlery for you and kids if you don't want to eat the "mideval way" with your fingers. Give this a try!

I like Medieval times so much. I've never been to the other locations but this one always has good food and great service. Everyone is really friendly, the bathrooms are clean, the show is great and the performers put their all into it. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes fantasy, or renaissance fairs. Seeing the knights in action is always a good time.

Definitely an experience to remember. This was my husband's 2nd time here (last time he was 11 years old lol) this was mine and our kids 1st time and it was absolutely amazing. The castle is huge, the gift shops are to die for. Theirs dragons and swords, so many beautiful necklaces and journals. I didn't want to leave. The show that was put on was entertaining, the food was delicious. My daughter kept asking for us to come back and we hadn't even left yet. Lol. We can't wait to go back!

great seating regardless if you’re VIP or not. The staff service are super friendly, take care of everyone and pay attention to detail. The crowd noise does take away from the “theatrics” of bringing you back to a Medieval Time, but it was great as a date or a family event

It was nice experience, knights did a fabulous job and the horses were beautiful however if I have to pick then I liked the pirate voyage better. Food was served at the table and was fine. Servers were very courteous and nice.

We took the kids here. It was a lot of fun! Our knight did not win and was only in one battle and the rest he was not in so that was alittle disappointing. Acouple things they don’t tell you is that when you get a “to be knighted” ticket, it comes with a free sword. Well obviously I didn’t know that and I bought the sword ticket too!! That could’ve been $60 saved for two swords. Drinks were good and food was good. They also helped accommodate my son’s food allergies and our waiter was very knowledgeable.

I have not been here I’m years. This was the perfect getaway for myself and our fellow Warriors. This is just like I remembered it. However, they don’t have the turkey leg anymore, which is what I was looking forward to. They switched it out for chicken. The server was great and kind. You can give a tip through the cash app. Very convenient.

If you have never been, it's a thing you must do at least once. Though I think you'll want to re-experience it, every time a friend or loved one tells you that they have never been to Medieval Times! The staff, performers, and servers, at the Lyndhurst location, are outstanding. Don't hesitate to communicate any special needs, they are very accommodating. I am always looking forward to the next visit, to see the show and soak in that, rare level, of hospitality. Do yourself a favor and go! When you are there, cut loose...be 12 again. Let yourself enjoy it. Cheer, boo, hiss and make a mess of your food! You won't regret it.

Been going here for years! We enjoy the show and the food is great. They do their best to keep people distanced and masks are required. I would have felt more safe if parties were more spread out, the tournament was sold out and no vaccine required. But the show itself was great.

If you're looking for someplace different to go with family or friends, young or old, this is an excellent option. Staff is in character and the show is so entertaining. Knights, beautiful horses, falcon with its trainer soaring above the crowd. Friendly servers and an exciting tournament of knights competing and jousting for a chance to give tokens of appreciation to their cheering section. Its sort of interactive and you get to encourage your knight to do well in the challenges. Every time we go everyone gets enthusiastic and involved. The meal is the same for everyone unless you have allergies or are vegan/vegetarian. There are no children's meals so be ready to cut up half of a roasted chicken for them. Which is delicious. No utensils unless you ask. Gifts shops have a lot of themed items for kids, and adults, to choose from so be ready to spend money there. Another great part of the experience is the knights, king, queen and other show participants are available after the show for pictures and autographs. If you're celebrating an occasion you can have it announced for the entire arena to cheer!

This is a fun experience for the whole family. The food is good and the action is decent. PARKING: There is plenty of parking right next to the castle; however, if you are not booked for the first show, parking might be (almost) full, and you have to wait for the earlier show to end so that spaces become available. It is therefore absolutely recommended to come early and pick up those few empty spaces FOOD: As I said, very decent food, but it should be noted that THERE IS NO CUTLERY. You eat with your hands Overall very much recommend.

Its a super fun night for a group. Food is decent but certainly not gourmet. The horses steal the show. Its sort of one of those places that once you have been once you likely wouldn’t go again unless you had some folks from out of town to take.
