I had just moved back to the area from central NJ and I needed to find a decent eye doctor. I used to go to Sears optical but with everything closing down it got harder to find a good one. This is your place.. Dr. Irina is lovely. She is professional, has a great personality and her bedside manner is top notch. I asked a lot of questions and she was happy to explain everything to me. For over 12 years, I have been in the excellent care of Dr Perelman. Her delightful attitude, top-notch skills, state of the art equipment, and attention to detail is comforting and engenders loyalty. Although Dr Perelman has great taste (come see her marvelous office and boutique-like showroom), I’ve never been pressured to buy new glasses or contacts unless it was my idea. When I do buy, I know Dr Perelman stands behind her products and that is so reassuring. Thank you, Dr Perelman!

I have been going to Dr. Perelman's eye care practice for a couple of years. She is patient, listens and explains your eeye care and helps you consider options. She was at Sears close to my home but when she moved her practice much further away from my home, I continued getting my eye care from her. Her team is very helpful and and pleasant. They helped me pick my frames, which I love very much.

Friendly, professional and precise. Very accommodating, cozy office, and the frames offered are pretty stylish and varied. No wait time to see the Dr; I had a last-minute appointment. Location was easy to find, parking in the back. Highly recommended. First time prescribed glasses, so I can't compare prices; they accepted my Metlife Vision insurance is all I can say.

After years of trying to get my son who is in the Autism spectrum to cooperate to get his vision tested, we visited several doctors to no avail until I found this place. She is very caring person, she explained to what is Karetoconus and what caused it. I’m able to see 20/20 again, I don’t even feel the contacts lenses in my eyes. Dr. Irina Perelman is a wonderful optometrist!! I have gone to her for eye exams when she was at sears a few times. She is professional and people oriented and very knowledgeable. Makes you feel very comfortable and you can talk to her about anything. I finally found her after sears closed and am really happy about that. Simon the optician, is a really good guy. He makes you smile. All in all they are very welcoming and friendly and definitely know what there doing. I will go to her for all my eye needs. Dr. Perelman and Simon were incredibly helpful with my lens exam, and with selecting frames/lenses. Very comfortable office and great experience during my exam. I had my first visit with Dr. Irina Perelman last week and I would give her 1000 stars if I could! She is extremely kind, attentive, highly knowledgeable and very thorough in examining the patients. She takes time and does not rush through the process unlike other optometrists I have visited before. Her office staff is also very friendly and helpful. Dr. Perelman's office is conveniently located in downtown Hackensack and is easily accessible. They also have a very wide selection of glasses and as picky as I am with the style, I was able to choose a new pair with the help of Dr. Perelman. Overall, I'm very happy with the service.

Dr. Perelman is the BEST! I was a patient of hers when she had her office at Sears years ago. So glad I found her again. She always made me feel comfortable took her time. This time I took my husband with me. Last place he went to they didn't explain to him what he may expect when wearing his new Rx eyeglasses. He never felt comfortable or safe driving with them. Dr. Perelman gave him his eye exam took her time with him as well. She explained in great detail as to what was happening with his vision. My husband felt such a big relief. Now he is wearing his eyeglasses. I also bought awesome frames. Simon is also a pleasure. He helps you find the right frames with your Rx lens. My frames were ready less than a week. Simon adjusted my frames so they fit perfect. We both love our new eyeglasses. Don't go anywhere else. You will be very pleased going here. I know we are. Thanks guys

Dr. Perelman was very helpful and patient. I have Keratoconus and it is especially difficult to get contacts that fit. She worked very closely with the contact lens manufacturer and was able to get me a pair of lenses that have been working as well as any that I have ever had. I really appreciate her extra effort and care. She has been great. I highly recommend her to anyone suffering with Keratoconus.

I had a really good experience with the doctor. I had two toddlers and she had so much patience with examining my eye. Lets not talk about the price for my glasses. Very affordable. I got my glasses in a week. Recommend her to anyone that is new in town like me.

I had facial paralysis that affected my eyes and my vision, and she was incredible! She referred me to the right place for therapy and followed up on every report.
