I really enjoyed the food! The blossom roll was a new experience for me, and I'd definitely try it again. The newly added Ramen is definitely worth a try as well! Really loved the flavours and presentation. The staff were really polite, I forgot something in the restaurant but I was lucky because they kept it to the side for me! Really appreciated!

First time having lunch here. All the photo reviews looked so good that we decided to try. The space is beautifully decorated, and the upstairs area is really cozy. The staff is super friendly. The service was not that quick, considering the place was not busy. The food looked better than tasted, there's better Japanese restaurants here in Reading... the shrimp batter was soggy, and the lamb on the ramen came burned, making the broth taste like burned food as well. The sushi was good. It's a bit pricey compared with other restaurants as well. It was good to try something new but not as good as we were expecting.

Always the greatest of service, taste and ambiance. Whenever I visit Reading, I need to visit Intoku. Not the cheap copies like Waga's or Yo, this food is highly recommended and feels like I am back in Tokyo.

Really great rainbow sushi rolls fresh and delicious. The service was somewhat lacking, the staff didn't seem to know much about the menu when asked about items. Had asked for some chilli oil / hot sauce but never received it, and had to ask another waiter. I think the staff could do with some training in regards to the menu.

Intoku feels like a secret that I have just discovered. It is hidden away down the side of John Lewis and from the outside looks like a take away. However upstairs is the most amazing restaurant, a beautiful decor with special little touches. Incredibly friendly staff. The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. I have never tried Eel before but I will have it again. Well done x

The food was extremely delicious, very well presented, filling and at a reasonable price. The staff were very welcoming and nice. You can also tell that they went into detail with the decor of the interior on both floor of the restaurant. Definitely a must-visit restaurant if you are in the mood for sushi and other types of asian-cuisine!

My friend told me that this restaurant serves the famous food we have in the Philippines. We're curious if it's true. Visited the restaurant, and it's true. The chicken inasal. We were a little surprised with the price cause the menu we saw online wasn't the same on actual. But when our orders arrived, it's actually worth the price plus the taste is indeed so good plus the servings is big enough. We thought we will be needing extra rice. We were about to order the halo-halo, but we thought maybe next time cause we got so full already. The ambience is nice, people serves with smiles. The owner greeted us a few times and made sure we had everything, etc. Will come back for halo-halo. Recommended 😊.

Amazing! Excellent food, outstanding staff and fair prices. Definitely recommend it! We went for the Kokoro Platter, Surf & Turf Yakidon, and the halo-halo dessert, everything was delicious

Really nice food. We came on recommendation of a friend, who said that they serve good halo halo. The turf yakidon is great and so was the halo halo. The restaurant itself is pretty (very "instagrammable") and has a lovely atmosphere. It was very quiet when we came during dinnertime on a weekday.

Ate here last night and had a great experience. Food was fantastic and very well presented. Tasted delicious and didn’t take long to make even though there were 7 of us. Staff were so lovely. Kitchen closes 9.30 so something to be mindful of if you eat late. I’d recommend coming here to anybody

I came early in the day so the venue was very empty, so hard to qualify the atmosphere. The food however was delicious. Very creative takes on traditional recipes. Staff were lovely and the ordering app was simple and easy..

We went for lunch, beautifully decorated. Sushi was nice, but we were missing the ingredients of each sushi in the menu. Chicken gyozas were cold, which wasn’t nice, but at least they tasted nice. I will say that service was slow, we had to ask for a drink twice, for the bill as well and they took sometime to be charged… and the restaurant was nos even full of people…

I went there for lunch. The food wasn’t really good. But the decoration was really good in the restaurant, the food looks gorgeous too. It is a great place to take pictures but not a very good place to dine. The sushi roll’s rice was too soft and made the whole thing soggy, each grain of rice should distinct from each other but it was the rice was mushed together. The ramen didn’t seem like the typical Japanese ramen, it was more like egg noodles, therefore it was not chewy. But visually it was very appealing. The shrimp was good though. The staffs were also very polite too. I saw lots of reviews and their pics, seems like food here could be very good. So I am not sure if it’s just a coincidence that the food wasn’t specially good or the food quality is inconsistent there.

Super yummy food, brilliant atmosphere and fab margaritas!! We shared the takoyaki, buffalo chicken wings, soy glazed aubergine, red dragon roll and soft crab shell roll as well as the chicken kimchee salad that was unlike anything I’d had before - so gorgeous! Never going back to yo sushi!

Lovely restaurant, the decor suits the theme. We ordered a 44peice sushi platter with chicken gyozas and we were stuffed by the end. The food was well presented and pretty. The staff were friendly and attentive. We love sushi and would happily come back. Wish we knew about this place sooner.
