i went to home depot they didn't had the plywood I was looking for I comprised on a different one and when ask about cutting they are saying that the saw is broken the last 4 weeks and they don't know when it will be fixed so I came hare I had the best experience ever they much more organized then home depot and they had exactly what I was looking for the guy at the cutting was very nice he even helped me take my plywood to the cart will definitely recommend shopping their

Very friendly service, the worker took me around the whole store answering all of my questions so patiently, was truly a great experience and excellent costumer service, thanks for being so helpful it’s a shame I don’t remember the name of the worker because he deserves a medal 🥇 for the service.

Whether you are just a local customer looking for stuff for the home and garden or a professional contractor or landscaper, Lowe's has just about anything and everything- good selection and quality with reasonable prices. It's a spacious store too and the staff look out for ways to assist you. Even better than that, you know your purchases as a customer will enable the good work Lowe's Corp does supporting veterans and the local community. And yes, as a consumer, it does matter to me that they did not make large corporate donations that supported candidates who endorse hate and division in out country. They truly build communities with their merchandise and their corporate choices. Money talks and I'm proud to be their repeat customer.

The good thing about this Lowe's store is that there is a Home Depot store nearby. Customer service is disastrous. I knew exactly what item I need. all I needed was to get someone to get me the item from the back and check me out (which took exactly 4 minutes) and I had to wait a full 45 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. they were just chatting and laughing around even when I told them that I am in a rush. Next time: Home Depot!

Just want to give props to TRAVIS covering the plumbing department today. Great advise on our issue with fixing a kitchen faucet retaining but as well as other affordable options. Keep up the great work.

This store has definitely improved in customer service over the past few years. They have employees all over, and they are actually very helpful! A complete turnaround from pre-Covid times. They all have these little handheld computers, so when you ask them if they have something they pull up exactly what aisle and where in the aisle you can find what you're looking for. It was actually pleasant to shop there. They had everything I needed in stock. I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

The man working to key machine this evening totally made our day. We came to Lowe’s because we had a bad experience at Home Depot and it was really a blessing in disguise. All of the employees are always pleasant and helpful here

This is so much better than Home Depot! The customer service is excellent. There was a man named Jerome who is very helpful. He went above and beyond, explaining products, and giving suggestions. I'm definitely going to use Lowes as my new go to store!

I've always gone to home Depot, and I'll continue. I recently bought a kegator online which arrived 5 days later than when that day at time of purchase and all according to them due to COVID-19 🧐. When it arrived it arrived dented and also damage from inside. I had no option but return it, when I try first they offer me 10% off, are you kidding me, 10% off from a damage item??? Then when I try to return they say it will take up to 7 days for pick up and after that 7 more days for a new one to arrived. So I went to return it to my local store. Then experience got worse, no body know anything and did not offer me a replacement. And yet they still have not returned my money to my account. Lesson learned, never coming back.

Ordered freezer online TOLD it would be delivered on the 15th with a very long window time of 8am to 8 pm. Then after waiting two weeks, a email sent the day before being TOLD , Maybe it would be the 19th again 8 am to 8pm. The Nanuet NY lowes, compared to other Lowes is deplorable. The rude people including Jennifer , first off do not say their name, put you suddenly on hold with no explaination and go on and on about how this is “their” system. The system does not work, I don’t care about the inner workings of your system. I want my stuff delivered when it was promised. So if you are trying to schedule your work, or life well tough luck. I cancelled my order. The ORANGEBURG LOWES IS MUCH BETTER, unfortunately I ordered on line which stated the Nanuet lowes was the only store with this in stock. Another lie.

Not enough employees to help customers, it was easier to leave store and order online. There was one guy to offer advice but he couldn't sell anything. And the worker who could was busy with other customers. So 4 of us stood around waiting. After 10 minutes or so we left, and bought the oven we wanted online

Great selection and great prices

I have ordered some drill bits and LED lights online for store pickup. I received the email that the order was ready. Next day I reached the store (Ms.Sagine and Mr. Ethan) were unable to locate my order. I waited 20 minutes and instead of staff being apologetic, they started making me realize that I was getting impatient. I canceled the order, as they were unable to find. Baaaad Service

I bought a DeWalt power tool set with warranty at another location. This store gladly accepted the tools for return but made me drive almost 45 minutes to return the warranty separately. Assistant manager of Clarkstown confirmed they wouldn’t return the warranty. All because Clarkstown didn’t want the warranty hit on their corporate goal numbers Shady, scummy customer service. Do not shop here.

Store is well kept and well stocked even with seasonal items. Always can find what I'm looking for. The only thing is that like many retail stores there is high turnaround on employees so in some departments you can't find very knowledgeable staff. Store has definitely improved over the years.

Insulting management? False advertising? You be the judge Grabbed 15 bags of mulch that were on sale 3 for $10, but the cashier said they weren’t ringing. Luz the manager came over and said those weren’t the ones on sale. Take a look at the picture - I showed her the same one. She said it was referring to the bags on the right, not the left, and “that was pretty clear.” The ones on the left had no price sign at all; the pictured sign was the only price sign there. I said I thought it was pretty confusing and asked if she could honor the 3 for $10, since I had already loaded 15 bags on a flat cart and was at the checkout. She said she couldn’t honor the price, and that “it’s been like that all week and no one else thought it was confusing.” I thought that was kind of insulting, so I drove the 1.5 miles down Route 59 to Home Depot. Scott’s brand mulch was 5 for $10, AND they load it into your car in a drive-through type situation. The total for 15 bags of mulch was $45 cheaper. I’m generally more of a Lowes guy than Home Depot, but being spoken to by management like that makes the decisions for me going forward very easy.

I wanted to share the amazing experience I had with Lowe's of Clarkstown recently. I needed a new clothes dryer and wanted it as soon as possible and had purchased one from another, smaller store who had promised it to me in one day. The day it was supposed to be delivered, I got a call saying it would not arrive for another week. I cancelled that order and found a better model for almost the same price at Lowe's, for just a bit more money. The website said it could be delivered next day. Once I placed the order, however, the confirmation stated I would have to wait one MORE day for delivery, which I was not willing to do. I called the 800 number provided, and the customer service agent was not able to help me but suggested I call the Clarkstown store. Ultimately, I was put in touch with Dominic. Once I explained the situation, he got in touch with his manager, and had the delivery date changed to the very next day. The entire process was pleasant and smooth; by the next morning at 9:30, the dryer was in my home. I could not be happier with the service I received from Lowe's, especially Dominic at the Clarkstown store.

Not too happy with the plant section here. I came all the way from New Jersey to see what they had and I was disappointed to see that a lot of these plants were dying and not even on the sale rack. It seems that they do not take care of the plants and try to propagate them or separate them to make whole new plants that would generate more profit. Many of the aloe had root rot and many plants overwatered.

Super organized can find just about anything may look for. Offer assortment very well done. Staff members very diligently ask need anything. Every location is different.

It was pleasant experience. The store was clean and organized. Especially plant department was nice! I'll come back for buying them. Many plants and well taken care.
