They pay minimum wage, and give Random Urinary Analysis (To Cashiers) for off clock THC usage (Laughable while they're hiring 18-20 year old kids...) Especially if it's just a random UA. This is something that is more so appropriate in an actual company/business environment. Especially now a days. Consumer experience: Prices better elsewhere...

Edit: I'd like to edit my review directly as a result of having been reached out to by Mr. Costello who had read my original review. I also own a business and know how damaging bad Google reviews can be. On the day I had written the original review I had probably encountered the one employee who did not have great customer service skills. I can't hold the entire store accountable for his actions. Thank you Mr. Costello for actually taking the time to read and try to correct the issues I had mentioned. That is how customer service is done. I will take the original review down, as far as I'm concerned, all is well.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have everything you need or will order it for you. I prefer coming here than Home Depot. Very reasonable prices, too!

Good sized hardware store with lots of inventory. Can't go wrong for small projects and all those nicknacks

Bought a hot tub here in early June. We dealt with Phillip. He was great from the beginning to the end. We got a tropical seas spa and we love it. Very good customer service and a great help.

Bought a grill and a few accessories right near closing. Employees were friendly and accommodating. They had great selection and we're very helpful with suggestions on makes and models. Store was super nice. Would recommend.

This used to be my go-to place to avoid the big stores. Went to get some window shades on my day off but no one knew how to use the machine to cut them to size. Waste of my time. Left with my shopping list and headed to the Ace in North Bellmore (another complete waste of my time). New management mentioned in both places.

Good for quick pickup of things you need right away. Expensive and limited variety of tools and hardware. I often have to go to HD to get what I need.

Normal Ave Hardware store. But I think bigger then most I been in. Friendly staff , they where very helpful.

Costello’s Ace is the best hardware store around. I leave there happy and impressed EVERY TIME. The employees are all friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. They go out of their way to help each customer. I’ve also noticed that the store is always clean, organized, and well stocked. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Went to Ace looking for something to help with a clogged bathroom sink. Walked around looking for a product for a very short time because a very nice employee saw me & without hesitation showed me exactly where I needed to go for clogged drains. For someone like me that has wasted more time than necessary walking circles around Home Depot without any employee offering to help, I was extremely appreciative for this kind of service. Will definitely be returning to Ace.

My husband and I just purchased a barbeque and Sandy helped us. We were both VERY IMPRESSED w how friendly, knowledgeable and quick she was. We were very happy w her service! Ace is very lucky to have her.Thank you again Sandy!
