👍👍 This is my first time trying Peruvian Ceviche in Kearny and I’m so glad I stopped by here. This is my first time trying Peruvian Ceviche in Kearny and I’m so glad I stopped by here. I called ahead to place the order for a Shrimp Ceviche and the gentlemen who picked up told me it would be ready in 15 minutes and sure enough it was! When I got there they were all so welcoming, kind and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and spacious and the food, DELICIOUS! They also had very generous portions and all for a great price. If you’re in the area looking for Peruvian food, this is it! I definitely recommend it and I will definitely be back! 😊

First time eating authentic Peruvian food. I had fish ceviche, assorted grill, and purple corn drink. So good and hearty. Fish ceviche is technically raw as they are only marinated with lime juice. But it is not fishy and mushy at all. Grill also has great texture, chewy but not dry. You can see the influence of Cantonese cuisine on some dishes. Servers speak limited English but it's fine. The prices are not quite cheap compared to the local area. They also charge 3.5% credit card fee.

Simply amazing Peruvian cuisine from an unassuming little restaurant. If you judge a book by it's cover you might skip this place, but you'd be missing what I believe is the best Peruvian food in the area. The owners and chefs are bringing you the food, it seems, there's a homely feel to the place and wonderful authenticity that makes this place worth while.

Small Peruvian restaurant that won’t disappoint. We had papa a la huancaina as a starter and for main we had ceviche mixto. The portions are more than enough and fair pricing, specially compared to other Peruvian spots. The chef/owner Jose has 15+ years experience and will make you feel at home.

Kind staff but glad my friend spoke spanish. Ceviche was on pointtt, went for the mixed but would probably just go for the regular next time. The fish was the best part of the mix The poor man's steak was wayyy more delicious than i was expecting. Would go back for this also.

José the owner is a kind friendly chef with many years of experience on the field. Nobody can beat the prices and the service. The dishes are plentiful, lots of them and all are very good. Give it a try on a week day, it is more convenient. In that way there is no waiting line, even when they have enough room for 100+ people.

Had their daily dish. Arroz con Pollo with caldo de gallina. They were both great. The rice might have been a bit stale that day, but overall had great flavor and would come again to try more items. It came with papa de huancaina, not many other places do it right, but here it tasted how I liked it! Wish it came with egg.

I’m not sure what kind of atmosphere people here are writing about - the waiters are not very happy to see people who don’t speak Spanish. Menus are sticky take-out leaflets. Food is overall good; however I think 1 shrimp and 2 tiny mussels is not enough for a big portion of service mixto.
