    My experience at this office was extremely poor. There appears to be poor communication between the main office and the MRI specific office at the Montclair Breast Center. I told them prior to my visit that I wanted to go through my insurance. I was reassured by the main office (on the phone prior to my visit) that I would be able to. They do in fact take my insurance. My doctor's office communicated with them prior to my visit and I was reassured that all was set before my MRI appointment. So, I went to my appointment and they told me that they had not pre-authorized my visit and that I was "private pay". Moreover, when I explained that I had called ahead of time and spoken to several staff at the office, they were extremely unkind. Instead of apologizing, the woman who worked at the MRI greeting desk at the front office was extremely rude to me. They took no responsibility and made no apologies. Given that this center is focused on women at a vulnerable time, I was surprised by the lack of courtesy at the MRI office and the lack of communication in the building between the main office upstairs and the MRI office on the bottom floor. Unfortunately, I would never return, and I would never recommend them. I am very disappointed especially because I drove over an hour to see them because they came so highly recommended. If they had only took some of the responsibility for the mix up or treated me with some respect, I would not have to write this negative review.

    I just want to share my experience with Montclair Breast Center. I have put off getting my first mammogram due to extreme anxiety. Last year I went to another place and left before they even started the exam. The people here were understanding, professional and very caring. They made me feel comfortable and were very nice and helped with my fears. They were amazing and I highly recommend them. The dr and staff are really amazing. Thank you for making my first experience a great one.

    They are always awesome! They make you feel so comfortable you quickly feel at ease. I’m usually very nervous and a hot mess by the time I get here. Thankfully, they care about there patients.

    Great facility, I recommend the doctors there because they are amazingly great… but beware: you will be turned away if your bill is in collections or under a payment plan.. which is understandable, but if you have a serious breast issue or surgery or lump followup it kind of sucks.. since you will not be seen until your payment plan with collections is complete. So your lump will just have to wait until you pay ur $200 bill thats under a payment plan or just find another clinic. Which is fair.. I guess? Since at the end of the day, business is business. Mind you, they probably would have made another $15,000 from my health insurance by just having kept me as a patient. But overall great doctors, I recommend. I called the collections lady to let her know (I think her name is Jackie, not too sure) that I will be making monthly payments on the $200 through collections (I spoke to collections a week before arriving to my appointment) but Jackie said “YOU HAVE TO MAKE FULL PAYMENT OR YOU CANNOT BE SEEN AT ALL”.. even after I explained my issue to her. I also have a good history of making full payments for anything I owe with the clinic. I think as a collections department, they should analyze the payment history of the patient before making life changing decisions about the time frame of when a patient is able to see a doctor at MBC. Like I said before, I have had good Payment history with MBC, except for this one $200 that I already was planning to make monthly payments on. Since being a patient at MBC, MBC has made over $15,000 revenue (with only 3 visits) since having me as a patient.. so to be turned away because I owe $200 is completely insane to me. Overall I am left with a stressful situation (since I was suppose to have this appointment that I was turned away from, as a followup and high risk check-up). But as I said before, business is business. I just dont think owing $200 out of the $15,000 paid by my health insurance should prevent me from seeing a doctor. And im 90% sure i’ll need another surgery.. which is another $15k. Not too sure if i’ll be switching over to a new clinic in NYC (close to work), due to the unfortunate situation of the $200 dollars…or keeping MBC (close to home) I’ll probably share my experience somewhere, probably tiktok or something.. since I cant be the only one thinking this could have been handled differently. I even called Jackie (the name of the billing lady) when I came back home from being turned away over $200 (when i called, she still said: “u have to pay the $200 in FULL”) though I have made plans to pay and have had good history with past payments and just have had good history with the clinic itself :/ Im just so stressed over this since my appointment was very very important and critical. I went home crying, because I just thought how insanely crazy it was to handle a patient like myself so poorly (even with a good history with the clinic. Also, Jackie or anyone could have let me know that I WILL be (not use the word MAY be) turned away if I don’t pay.

    The best place to go for anything breast related. Every lady working there is very courteous. All the office staff (especially Jordan) are very helpful. All the technicians and doctors are very warm and patient. They won't rush you at all. They will listen to you patiently and explain things in detail. This place is also highly recommended by my OB/GYN (Dr Theodore Witter)

    Great experience as a first timer. The Montclair Breast Center is a terrific place. Doctors combine expertise and willingness to listen and discuss. Also, the staff is very friendly and professional. Walked away very impressed with the overall experience. I felt that I am in good hands. I wouldn't trust anyone else other than MBC to care for my health.

    Excellent place to go for your annual mammograms. Everyone is so polite and professional. I was there yesterday and Tiffany Torres went above and beyond to help me with a special request and did it in record breaking time. She is awesome! All of the technicians and doctors make sure to explain things to you so that you understand and provide you with the best recommendations and care possible. .

    I just came from an appointment at the MBC, and I can honestly tell that I’m extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and care that they offer. While performing a self breast exam, I felt a small lump on my breast, I was worried and had no idea where to go. I was going to one primary care physician, but luckily, I found MBC on Google and after reading the reviews, I called for an appointment. Jamie was super nice and attentive and was able to schedule an appointment 3 days after the call. While at the center, I had a Mamogram with Ana and an ultrasound done, I believe the US technician was Donna. Both of the ladies were wonderful. A mammogram is uncomfortable no matter what, but Ana made the process so easy. Both professionals were again, extra attentive, friendly and super helpful. I received the results on the same day, all in the same consul time. Dr. Santoro was my doctor. What an amazing doctor, by the way. She thoroughly taught me about self examination and what to look for specifically. She is very knowledgeable, experienced and thoughtful. Had a gone to a primary care, I would have to schedule a mammogram somewhere else, schedule a follow up, and it would’ve probably taken 7 days of more for the results. MBC is not only a wonderful center, but also, extremely convenient. Everything in one place! Amazing. I rarely write reviews, but Montclair Breast Center really needed 100 stars. I am so glad I found the center and I will refer it to all of my female friends. Thank you so much for your care, your professionalism and for making women’s breast screening and health simply easy, and less stressful.

    God bless Dr. White, I cannot thank her enough for taking the time to share with me very detailed information regarding screening etc. I cannot express how much it meant to be spoken to as an equal and sharing so many details about the options for me and the risks. Dr. White is very passionate about her work and is very kind and compassionate. She listened to my questions and answered them in great detail. I am very grateful to have found her, I feel so much more prepared to make decisions about my breast health. Also can’t forget the nurse so kind and gentle, pleasant and supportive, felt very nurtured. Such a lovely experience.

    Everyone who works here is nothing short of amazing. In the MRI department Clarissa made a scary morning so much better with her calming demeanor and very clear interest in her patients’ wellbeing. I’ve consulted with Dr Quackenbush in the past and she was so thorough and personable. Everyone at the front desks is equally kind. Truly the best place to be during even the worst of times. You’re never just a “number” here.

    With breast cancer in my immediate family, I knew it was important to find a group of highly trained specialists in breast health. Each and every person I have come in contact with is knowledgeable, polite, professional and, most importantly, thorough. Well worth my hour plus trip!

    I had an excellent experience with the Montclair Breast Center despite the not-so-excellent reason why I was there. Everyone was sympathetic, caring and attentive. I came here after having a bad experience with another facility and I’m so grateful to have found them. Thank you MBC for the exceptional care!

    Every time I got for my annual exam it's like visiting a caring friend. From the first person that greets you to the last, everyone smiles and the atmosphere is that of a spa. They have state of the art equipment and Kim was helpful in making the experience actually painless and comfortable. I also had a bone density test. I got all my results and know what to do with the information. I have been going for decades and plan to continue.

    Montclair Breast Center has made me feel so safe and relaxed during my visits there. Everyone is so pleasant and kind, from the front desk receptionists, nurses, technicians, radiologists, and doctors. I just had my first mammogram today and KIM was so so so amazing. Not only did she walk me through each step, I felt was completely comfortable the whole time. She asked each step of the way and with each compression, how I was feeling. There was no discomfort at all. The PA Lindsay is so comforting and thorough as well as the rest of the doctors and staff! Thank you for everything Montclair BC

    The communication was great from the very beginning. The appointment was efficient, but I never felt rushed. I really love how they take a holistic approach to breast care. Each person I met with - the front desk, nurse, technician, radiologist and physician's assistant were all kind and made sure I was comfortable and that the information was clear. Highly recommend.

    Having moved to the Montclair area 10 years ago, I decided that I should finally find somewhere closer than the place I had been going for 10+ years. I found MBC through a Google search, and while the website looked appealing, I admittedly had my doubts after seeing pretty much nothing but 5-star reviews on Google and Yelp. Anytime I see that, it automatically makes me wonder about fake reviews or incentivized/coerced reviews (hey, that's the time we live in). However, the customer service was great during the new patient process and they seemed to have it together, so I figured I'd give it a shot - and if I ended up getting coerced into a 5-star review I would put that on blast. After having my appointment there recently, I can confirm that the positive reviews are well-earned: The facility is clean and easily accessible - with their included parking lot a definite plus - my appointment was super smooth and super quick, yet thorough, and the staff were all great. I wish I could remember the names of everyone I interacted with to give them each a shoutout, but I cannot. I did deduct one star because it's 2022, and we are decades into the digital age, so I don't understand why in the world they don't accept emailed images of scans done at other facilities. It was a much bigger hassle and use of my time than it needed to be to go through requesting that a CD of my previous images get snail-mailed to MBC (which didn't even reach them in time, despite me putting the request in 1-2 weeks prior), when those images could have been emailed very quickly and easily. Hopefully MBC will come up to date with the times in that regard (not to mention it's also more environmentally friendly). Other large institutions are doing this, so I'm guessing it's not a big patient privacy risk. That wrinkle aside, I'd still definitely recommend MBC and will go back for my next annual!

    I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the clinical and administrative staff at the Montclair Breast Center for making my first visit there today a truly delightful experience. After much research, I chose MBC because, for accuracy’s sake, I wanted my routine mammogram to be interpreted by a radiologist who exclusively specializes in breast imaging. Upon learning that ALL of MBC’s in-house radiologists are breast specialists, I called to make an appointment and was graciously assisted by Nicole. She informed me that MBC participates with my insurance, and she directed me to their website to access their intake forms. She explained that MBC continuously upgrades their technology and advised that their off-street parking is currently limited due to a mobile MRI unit being in their lot while their new, state-of-the-art MRI unit is being installed. This was thoughtful, but it did not prove to be an inconvenience. When I entered the office this afternoon, I received a warm welcome from the receptionist, and she introduced me to Jordan, a vibrant medical assistant, who gave me her full attention while guiding me through each phase of my visit. Undergoing the 3-D mammogram was a comfortable and completely painless experience thanks to the skill of the technician Liz, who made gentle adjustments and took her time getting me properly positioned. While my images were being read by breast radiologist Dr. Melissa Lee, I received thorough physical and ultrasound evaluations by breast surgeon Dr. Nancy Elliot. Dr. Elliot’s extreme level of care for her patients was apparent by her attentive listening, her thoroughness, and the time she took to share her findings with me and educate me about self-examinations. Because I did have a remarkable finding on one side, Dr. Lee joined our discussion to create a plan for monitoring me going forward. I am very pleased and extremely impressed with MBC. I feel assured by their doctors’ expertise and their multi-faceted diagnostic approach, and I wholly trust their recommendations. It is my opinion that every woman deserves to receive the exceptional, comprehensive breast care provided by MBC and would highly benefit from their intelligent, compassionate and team-based approach to breast health and prevention.

    I had been to several other places for my breast health over the years, but nothing compares to MBC. The entire staff is friendly and kind, and the doctors are the absolute best in their field. You aren't left in a waiting room for hours wondering what's going on, because everyone communicates with you while you're there.
