Over the past 15 years, of all the pizza places I have been to in NJ and NYC, this is by far the best. This is precision pizza making from every aspect. Not only is the pizza great, but Tomaso (the owner) is so personable and always has a smile on his face. Try to make a reservation 1 week ahead as it is usually booked up. Also it is BYOB!

This place is pure magic! The only meal that ever brought me to tears.. The love that goes in to the preparation and the quality of the ingredients shows! Plus an atmosphere that is second to none! Cannot wait to come back!

Finally! My husband and I have been wanting to try Bivios since we moved to Montclair a few years ago. I'm so glad we finally were able to eat here and it definitely exceeded expectations. The restaurant itself is super cozy and intimate. Service was perfect. We tried the Bianca and Margherita pizzas. Hands down the best Neapolitan style pizza ever. I've never had pizza that litterally melted in your mouth as you eat. We will definitely be back for more!

Salumi/cheese plate and Arugula salad straight out of Costco. That"s not a bad thing but just saying. Pizza was undercooked, The middle was wet and colllapsed when you picked it up..the description also said garlic and none was detectable. Place living on reputation. Got a better pie at our basic, local pizza place. Do t waste your time.

Perhaps the greatest Pizza shop in NJ. The ingredients, customer service, and dishes are of the highest quality. The place is small which is perfect for an intimate dinner (4 to a table max, no exceptions). You will not be disappointed!

I know this place is now closed, but I wanted to post anyway. The owner, a former musician and a lover of jazz, was an excellent chef. His restaurant and staff will be missed.

Amazing! The pizza was delicious and the service on point! Three of us shared a salad and 3 pizzas. Everything was perfect. The restaurant is also super cute and cozy with great ambiance.

I’m obsessed with Neapolitan style pizza, and Bivio does it right. Absolutely delicious! I usually don’t steer toward white pies, but the Funghi caught my eye and it blew me away. We also got the Margarita, and the amazing cheese appetizer that I forgot the name of. Service is outstanding, the food is outstanding, the ambience was perfect with the right music. Can’t wait to come back!

Finally, that cool pizzeria in Montclair is back ! Writing this review the day after dining there. Waited to make sure I didn't end up with the usual heartburn and heavy feeling from some mediocre dough. Passed the test with flying colors! Top-notch pizza with a light and natural crust. Faithfully “Napoletana”, especially thanks to the quality ingredients that work their magic and transport you to an excellent pizza joint in Italy. The wood-fired oven grabs your attention as soon as you step into the cozy little spot. It's like a charming fireplace spinning tales, and suddenly, everyone there feels like old friends.

Carrying the mantle of such a beloved and sought after institution that the previous owner Tomasso left on their shoulders, the new and intrepid operators of Bivio offered an inviting and revitalized take on the establishment that we all know and love. Hospitable and familiar, the team leading the charge at Bivio offered the highest level of fare and conversation one can hope to sample in Montclair.
