Best experience going to an outdoor adventure!! Perfect place for hiking, lots of fresh air, surrounded by nature, and overall amazing place to spend time out of the room. Needs more parking spots, and make sure you don't get lost on the way back (I got lost twice) not enough markers. Be safe and be careful!!

Great short trails for walking your pup. I loved the well kept trails and scenic views. Be careful, it does get pretty muddy after it rains and some owners let their dogs run off leash.

Beautiful reserve/park that's perfect for quick and easy trails. You might come across a couple of steep/rocky areas on some of the paths, but nothing even an untrained novice couldn't conquer. Beautiful views of NYC and has lots of paths to offer.

My doggy loves this place, just loves meeting other dogs and people on the trails and getting outside here. The terrain is great with some flat easy trails and some singletracks for the cyclists and runners.

Great hike, amazing views, great place to take our dogs for long hikes. Only downside is I wish others would keep their dogs leashed to make it more pleasurable and tranquil for other hikers and their dogs. Witnessed an off leash dog startle a leashed dog and it caused a fight between the two so I kept worrying for my dogs safety on our hike. Dogs are supposed to be leashed at all times…

I used to come here all the time when my dog was much younger and let him run off leash with a bunch of other dog owners. I don't know if that is still a common practice, but today we kept Bongo on his leash. It was a humid and hot day so the shady trails were very pleasant retreats from that element of weather so common to NJ summers. The trails are easy to follow and clearly marked. We didn't go up to the summit, for lack of time. A beautiful piece of nature carved out for all to enjoy - keep it clean, y'all!

A hidden gem, a few trails besides the main one which takes about 50 minutes at an easy pace, gets muddy in some areas even after a light rain, wear proper shoes since terrain is mainly gravel and some brush. Dogs are welcomed and they'll have a blast, no restrooms available in any of the parking areas though, some great scenic views and locations to snap some pictures.

Nice quick trail that has a easy to get to high point lookout. Nice small wildlife and ample parking but could get packed. Trails were almost empty and only 1-3 people on it around 2pm on a weekday. Some trash and graffiti, but overall fairly clean. Not much to look at besides cliff. Didn't see any reservoir on trail.

Easy access to 5 moderate difficult levels trails, 0.5 to 1.5 miles range, finish one cycle within 2 hours in most cases. Fresh air and good view at the top. Good luck on parking during weekend.

So many trails, and really friendly people and dogs. My dogs and I really enjoyed it and will be going back. Just be careful with ledges, could be dangerous to young pooches and no water or poop bags on trails so definitely bring some.

It was so fun! Went with my family and we hiked a good path that was not too long with nice views. It was fun to see all the plants and try identifying them. The views are really nice as well. We also got to see cool mushrooms. I did find multiple plants considered invasive species and was wondering if they do anything about limiting its growth (because if there were signs to identify them I feel like people would help with removal) but they don’t have. They also didn’t have garbages and I wanted one to throw out an invasive species leaf so it wouldn’t spread instead of dropping it on the ground.

We can’t wait to head back! Beautiful reservation connecting into 40 miles of trails! We had stopped by on the way back to NY and had plans already to come back and do some more of the trails there!

Dog & Kid Friendly We were looking for a dog friendly hike and were recommended checking out Mills Reservation. There were tons of dogs on the trail and our pup really loved it. Took a chance and brought my 1 year old & the jogging stroller **(Joovy 360), halfway expecting to only get about 5 mins in and then turn around. To my surprise, we were able to complete the entire White Trail. There were times when it got a bit bumpy and we had to take it slow, but overall it was a really great experience. I have a feeling we will be regulars :) The parking lot had plenty of space and was located just off Normal Ave. ** This is going to be best suited for a stroller that has good suspension, NOT your standard stroller.

Beautiful walking trial. There is a main loop that's simple and easy to follow but lots of smaller trails as well. It's large enough for a good hour long walk.

Nice trails. Beautiful views. Saw a rattlesnake there so be careful where you step.

Most people like to walk up the trails & back. Runners need to get out of the way of walkers. Nice dogs are always welcome around me, but please understand the wildlife needs to run free. Enjoy the view, it is awesome for everyone!!! I love it..It is home for me, too.

Cool easy easy trails with some deep woods. Short loop with a good outlook of the city. Dogs are allowed on leash. When the hawk lookout is open, do see it.

Our favorite trail. In the summer it's shady which is a big plus for me! Sadly a lot of the dogs we meet there are not dog friendly, so keep your babe leashed.

👍👍 Such a fun farm theme playground. We visited during the week and was not crowded. Very clean and well maintained. My little one had a really good time. Easy parking. Looking forward to our next visit and checking out the walking trails.

👍👍 Beautiful little serene park. Great alternative to our usual hiking in the South Mountain for days we're feeling particularly lazy, we just walk the path. Playground could use some upgrades but overall a clean local facility
