The best Thai food I’ve ever had! This visit we ordered Chicken Wings, Chicken Penang Curry and Spicy Fried rice. The food is so fresh and the vegetables are cooked to perfection.

Absolutely delicious Thai basil with chicken. The owner is lovely and the food was really good. The owner grows ghost peppers and makes a ghost pepper oil that is outstanding. The vegetables in my dish were cooked perfectly and the onion was great. Very flavorful and I could eat that daily. Next time I will try something different. This is a small restaurant and not fancy inside. The place is clean and the food is really good. It takes a lot for me to give 5 stars but they deserve it. The quality and flavor of food rivals other Thai restaurants that I have reviewed and their prices are lower. See you next Monday for bar poker across the parking lot. We are eating here instead of at our venue. Ate here twice more and had red curry with vegetables and chicken. The ghost pepper oil, the best. April 2023 Update: Six months ago I tried Thai Basil and I still love it. The owner, Amy is lovely and the food is as good as you will find anywhere. See you next Monday.

The Best! I started going there 27 years ago but moved out of the area 22 years ago. My family had the pleasure of going back last night and it was just as great of service and food as so many years ago. It was so nice to see Amy again and enjoy the nice atmosphere of a small restaurant. Thank you, Amy!

Fabulous hole in the wall Thai bistro. Delicious, fresh food. Piping hot with authentic flavors. Amy is delightful, friendly, and helpful. She provides thoughtful and careful gluten free options. Would highly recommend. We are returning very soon.

We read great things about Thai Basil By Amy and when we went there tonight we weren't disappointed. Amy is a hard working restaurant owner who managed to squeak by the pandemic and is still open for business. Her secret is that her food is fresh and tasty AND she knows what each of her customers likes. She makes a point of chatting with her patrons to get to know them. We had curry lemongrass chicken, drunken noodles, and garlic beef -- all dishes served with fresh steamed/sauteed vegetables. Each dish was SUPERB! We also had edamame with fresh garlic that was DELICIOUS! We had ginger tea that is made fresh by Amy. It was so GOOD! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS THAI GEM!

EXCELLENT. The service, the food, the iced tea... we had some of the best coconut shrimp and papaya salad here!! The crispy duck was phenomenal as well. Our waitress was the owner's wife, and she was as sweet as they come... please support this amazing small business. You won't regret it!

We drive 29 miles just to eat here! The food is amazing - the best Thai we've had. Everything is delicious from appetizers to soups to entres. Amy is a lovely person and we are so happy to support her and her business. Thank you for treating us like family, we'll be back soon!

This place is amazing! The food is so delicious and fresh. The owner, Amy, even grows many of the ingredients in her own garden with love. You can pick the level of spice to your liking and even though it can be hot, it’s still so flavorful and well balanced. Amy is very nice and even remembered us from our last (and first) visit. She even remembered our preference on spiciness! Highly, highly recommend to you and for you to tell all your family, friends, and strangers in hearing proximity.

I absolutely recommend this restaurant! The food was delicious and honestly the BEST Thai food I have ever eaten. It is hard to find an authentic restaurant, but this restaurant meets those standards! Amy the owner was so kind and explained that she grew all of her own herbs. I was in food heaven eating there! My mother and I ordered a Fresh Roll, Tom Ka Gai (BEST ONE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!), Shrimp Pad Thai, and Lemongrass Curry with chicken. For dessert we ordered the sticky rice with ice cream toasted coconut and ground peanut.... DELICIOUS!!!!! I live a few hours north, BUT every time I visit home we are 100% ordering food from Thai Basil By Amy!!! I wish her restaurant was located by my home!! I would eat it once a week if I could!

The best Penang Curry I have had in years. Everything is made in house and the owner is so passionate about her food that you can’t help but want to try everything. Should have taken a picture before I started but was so excited about the food I completely forgot.

Well, I guess 4.5 stars in Florida is equivalent to a NY 2... Spring rolls were thin, dry and basically stuffed with vermicelli noodles. No vegetables. Firecracker fish was odd, where was the fish. It was all breading, some odd sauce and blah. This dish was really a joke for nearly $20. Not spicy. Drunken noodles were watery and strange. Not very good. Panang curry was decent, like other reviews said, but I wouldn't say anything truly special. Oh well. Waitress was friendly and nice. Decor was cool. Sadly the food was a disappointment.

The reviews we read before visiting were really positive with one or two negatives. This is an authentic Thai restaurant where the food is the focus. I had the best Thai food in a long time and the owner Amy was delightful.. Many of the ingredients come from her own garden and were superbly tasty and fresh. We will be going back and I strongly recommend.

This place was like a hole in the wall. The decor was very very outdated and uncomfortable seating. Usually that wouldn’t bother me because sometimes that means the food tastes more authentic and better. However, that was not the case here. Pad Thai was mediocre and the meat was low quality and tasted old. I was hoping I could come back here since it’s convenient but it’s just not worth it. However the prices are cheap so if you are looking for cheap bite , it’ll do the job.

I’m trying all of the Thai restaurants in Palm Beach County and this one so far has the most genuine and best tasting that I have found. The service was very good and very attentive. I never had to ask for anything she was always there making sure I had everything I needed. If you like off the beaten path homemade not a franchise type good Thai food at a good price this is your place. I highly recommend.

What a hidden gem! The food is incredible, and Amy is so passionate about what she prepares. My family and I have dined here on two occasions and have been blown away by the food. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed Calamari, Steamed Dumplings, Chicken Satay and Chicken Wings for appetizers. Our main courses have included Chicken Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Meatball Jungle Noodle and Spicy Fried Rice. Everything has been scrumptious! This is our new favorite restaurant!

Thai Basil is the best around. Have been going here for many years. Have tried a few other Thai restaurants in the area, but none compare. Can't say which is my favorite, it's all delicious. Staff very friendly.

First time ordering out from Thai Basil. Everything was excellent. The Pad Thai, Singapore Noodles, and Red Curry were the main dishes we ordered. Super tasty! We will absolutely be back.

I don’t review often but I had to. Order here based on the many “good” reviews but was left highly disappointed. Picture speaks for its self.

Talk about a rip off. Is my first time ordering from this place and the curry puffs were very good but the fried house special rice was a joke. I only had two shrimps in there a lot of beef barely any chicken and not any pork. I’m so disappointed because the food could’ve been so much better I just had a lot of rice and egg. I won’t be coming back. That was a waste of $25

I relied on great Google and Trip Advisor reviews to try this place. On the positive side, the staff is nice and accommodating and the Thai iced tea was good. The worrisome part started when I arrived to pick up a takeout order on Saturday night and there was just 1 customer eating in. Then, all 4 dishes we had were disappointing. The difference between the reviews and our experience is not a great thing. Maybe this is a recent change in how the restaurant is, but talking to a couple of people who know local restaurants they also indicated that the place doesn't have a strong reputation. Dish-by-dish, here's what we found. Chicken Panang: Unusually, it had lots of 2 inch green beans in it. The issue, though, was the curry sauce. Rather than lots of coconut milk like we usually get, the sauce was lighter and much less tasty. I think they used cornstarch to give it some thickness but that left out the nice coconut flavor and the sauce was also very light on peanut. Chicken Basil: Unusually, lots of sliced carrot in there. The sauce here to was lacking flavor and didn't even look right. Usually, the sauce on this dish is brown probably due to soy and oyster sauce. The sauce was clear here with not much basil flavor or spiciness. I've never had this dish be sort of bland like this. Noodles, Drunken and Pad See Ew: In both noodles dishes there were two issues that were both huge for us. 1. The noodles: At most local Thai restaurants the noodles are nearly and inch wide, tender, thick and delish. If you see the noodles in an Asian Grocery, they are sold fresh not dry. This restaurant did not use the standard restaurant noodles for these dishes. Instead, the noodles looked to be from the dry packs where the noodles are about a quarter inch wide and not tender. Instead, they just get gummy if overcooked. For me, why get these dishes if the noodles are the like you could easily get at home. 2. Almost zero sauce for both. The noodles had some oil on them and very little taste. Both of these dishes usually have good amount of very good sauce. Not so here. I've never seen anything like it for either dish at a Thai place anywhere. These were easily the worst of both noodle dishes that I've ever had the misfortune of trying to eat. So, to the restaurant, you seem to be very nice people so please do better.

The food was amazing, but it doesn't end there! The service was great! I was served by none other than Amy herself! She was super sweet and I was impressed how she greated each customer that entered by name. You don't the true family feeling most places these days, but you sure do here! I'll definitely be back.

Amy delivered her made to order Thai food to our table. As always, it was absolutely delucious. I always order 1 star spiciness, because I like the flavor, not very spicy. My husband gets 2 star spiciness, but we have real foodie friends who get all 5 stars!! All the vegetables are whatever she finds most fresh in the market. It's great to bring friends here with special needs, gluten-free, no onions, no garlic, low carb, etc. Amy custom makes a great dish for all of them.

You can't go wrong with anything on this menu! It is all very delicious. If you want a homemade meal, but don't want to cook, order here! Everything we have had on the menu is so fresh, from the pad thai to all of the curry dishes. Amy is not only an amazing chef, she is truly a gem of a person. She puts heart into her cuisine and it shines!
