ABSOLUTELY NO ETHICS. My wife had a medical abortion in the month of December 2020. It went good until she was experiencing huge blood loss in subsequent periods in next month. it was found that there was some placenta/tissue left in the uterus from last medical abortion. As the amount of blood loss was huge we needed emergency care and attention. We called Mario stopes for this to which there was no response from them at all. I suspect it is because they have no revenue generation from the post treatment issues.

Every single member of staff i came into contact with last saturday were nothing short of caring and understanding, professional and kind. The male anesthetist in particular was amazing and so supportive. Yes there was a bit of a wait but nothing I wasn't already advised of when booking an appointment. But thank you for making a horrible situation so much better !

I had to go to Marie Stopes after my procedure failed the previous day. I was extremely nervous and concerned about what my options were as I am not good with any procedure that involves people touching me. Whilst I was waiting I was getting quite frustrated at the amount of time it was taking for me to see a doctor, however after speaking with the doctor and then being reffered to the counsellor and having a lengthy discussion about my options, I thought to myself that if the staff at Marie Stopes put this much time, care and empathy into each of their patients then I don't mind waiting the extra time to see the doctor/nurse. The additional time the counsellor and doctor spent talking me through my procedure and ensuring they made me feel as comfortable as possible was greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Please consider relaxing your covid 19 rules around not allowing a support person to wait in the clinic, especially for a procedure that is so upsetting for a lot of women. This was a very traumatic and emotional day for me and I’m sure many others, crying in a waiting room alone and waiting for 2 hours before you’re even seen. It is 2022 and even emergency departments at hospitals allow visitors.

The waiting is a bit longer, at least they let all the patients know before their appointment even sending us text messages or through email so everything is understandable and no complaints at all. Nurses, doctors and even all ladies at receptionist are lovely, I fell welcome whenever I arrived and I can't thank you enough for all the help you have given me. Especially after my surgery I woke up, first thing I see was two lovely nurses asked me for a coffee and etc. I also received a call from the nurse few weeks after my surgery to check how I feel. Highly recommended, and again thank you 🙏 Marie Stopes Westmead & the team for great job, well done 👏

Fantastic service and support for my procedure here at Marie Stopes. Dr Justin Lowe and his team were extremely professional and made the experience as easy as possible. Anyone that has had a mole removed or similar can handle this particular procedure. I myself experienced pain for a week or so after the fact but probably due to over doing it. I spoke with their 24/7 aftercare team a couple times and again were reassuring and very helpful.

All the staff are very friendly and professional. Dr Donna is amazing and looks after her patients very well. The nurses are also caring and made sure I was good before I left the clinic.

All lovely kind accommodating staff. With a special mention to Nurse Stephanie for her Amazing bedside manner- I was acting all crazy and emotional but you put my mind at ease. You are wonderful at what you do and worth your weight in gold I can't thankyou enough 🙂

Treatment was good but it’s bit costly. I shocked to see my bill. For people who don’t have Medicare will be costly. Waiting time bit high even appointment. Hospital ambiance is good. Staff was in hurry when I visited not sure that much busy all days. This is nearest hospital for parramatta cbd people

I waited over two hours to be seen by anyone.. I'm only not rating this a 1 because the ladies are nice.

Excellent experience from beginning to end, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who were thorough and helpful at every step. The space also felt safe and welcoming, and plenty of time was allowed for recovery post-procedure.

The appointment and care I received on the day was great, post surgery very little pain, however, I had to have a post vasectomy test 3 months after the surgery which cannot be dropped of at just any pathology place. I am now 6 weeks post that test and I can't get the results from MSI. You're on hold for at least 20 minutes every time and the people answering the call don't know how to get results.

Booked an appointment 3 months ago it was to remove the contraceptive device out and put another in of my choice after speaking to the nurses, I spoke to the person on the phone and we confirmed what’s happening and made me pay $100 & more on the actual date. My appointment was at 3 originally until they called me and told me the nurse has got somewhere to be & to come in at 2 instead, which is very unprofessional in itself seeming this appointment was made 3 months prior?! Anyways I arrive by 2 have to fill out documents which is the usual step & they took about 30 minutes so 2.30 for the nurse to see me, when I got into the room the nurse pretty much had no idea what was going on & that she has had miscommunication regarding this situation & that she thought she was inserting a mirena in but now she’s been told it’s to get the one I have out which is correct but she seemed upset and even more confused when I told her I wanted to be put under and to change the device I have in me and that was the Normal arrangement she told me “ devices I dont have devices?! I think it’s better we speak to the people at the desks and figure out what’s going on? So not only did they have no clue what I was in there for but the nurse was extremely uncomfortably rude & I felt wasn’t understanding at all.. I wasted my time after we went to the desk the manager of the clinic spoke with me and the nurse basically coming up with excuses that there was miss communication and that what I want is to be put under with anaesthetic but what I’ve been put down for is local anaesthetic which I’m not comfortable in doing because I have a very painful condition & I dont want somebody poking around I understandably wanted to be put under, anyways I told them I wanted my money back they told me I already had paid the $100 over the phone but $40 is owing and I’ll get $80 back?! The useless consultation with this nurse who seemed to have no clue what she was doing was $140 which is disgusting! Extremely upset and this whole day was wasted.
